Approached this one very carefully and quietly as there was a butcher bird watching us,Tftc co
didn't find it but saw a really fluffy cute baby bird that was the really treasure so don't scare them that's why we left so we will not disturb them but will try again
Thanks for the find, fun adventure with kids enjoyed so much easy I would definitely recommend this with young kids only struggle for them will be reaching it
What a great caching day we had. It was full of happy chatter, searches and imaginative caches as well. We are working our way towards our goal of 2000 by the end of the year and if we keep having days like today we just might make it.Parked out on the road and made our way in past the community hall.Precise hints made for a super quick find here; i'm sure we've been here years ago but entered from another street...and didn't find.Ok, time for morning tea before more caches. We found a health food cafe on Logan Road. Coffee was fine but the cost stuck in our throats! We were charged for skim milk!!!! That has never happened before. Seriously, we weren't asking for Tibetan Spider milk just plain old skim milk. Rant overThanks For The Cache chasingadventures
TFTC smile20067 Out and about on a Sunny day caching with geofriends grabing a cache to try and keep a challenge going signed as GS1947 on small logs Thank you chasingadventures for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Enjoying a beautiful winters day venturing around this local area and picking up a few caches with geo friends before heading off to an event. This was a quick find for us once at GZ.Thanks chasingadventures for maintaining this good hide.
Found exactly as the previous person said with the brand new log and container. Placed it all back the way I found it, cute little spot
I was needing a traditional today for a challenge cache, so decided to visit this park where there are two. After finding Bolt, I then walked to this one. The hint made for an easy find but as others have said, theres a container with no logbook or lid. I came prepared, so I have placed a container with a logsheet in the original container and popped a rock on top to keep everything in place. Theres a bit of gardening happening around gz, so I hope that the cache survives. A nice little park, my first time here. Tftc
Unfortunately we also just found the empty container here today. Right place, just no log to sign. TFTC!
The shady seats in the park provided a pleasant place to eat lunch. Then I checked for caches. Sure enough, there was this one only a couple of hundred meters away. Nicely hidden.
Outnabout for some solo caching. Grabbed this one after a morning breakfast near by. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC chasingadventuresFor anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australias only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
It has been a long long times since I have had a chunk of time spare to go caching so I called Chamad and we made a plan. I needed a toilet stop and I knew there would be one at the playground part since I had taken the little turmoils for a play when they were wee little playground enthusiasts.
Thankyou for putting this cache in such a lovely park. I enjoyed the duck pond with about 7 different birds there.
Walked a solid 40 minutes from home to find this cache! Great location, added my cat-log and enjoyed the view! TFTC!
Nice easy pickup. Quite pleasantly fragrant as well. Thanks for cache and also finding this pleasant park
We arrived just as the school bell was sounding. Love the musical number they use. Cache was a straightforward find and everything is good with it. Thanks chasingadventures
Out and about doing some local caching, and this one didn't disappoint, thanks for the cache!
Over this way due to appointments at Greenslopes hospital. Once finished ,we were in no hurry to head .. notice a few caches close by..found our way around easyly and soon grabbed this smile .. Cache is in great shape. Tftc
Found very easily! Had to ignore the screaming children who were out on break fromSchool
Stopped here with my daughter to eat out take away lunch. Watched a magpie keep swooping a small dog. The owner said the dog thinks the magpie is playing and kept chasing the magpie. After lunch walked over to find cache. TFTC chasingadventures.
While my daughter was at a course at the Mt Gravatt TAFE, I decided to do some caching. Thank you for maintaining your caches. TFTC!
Checking caches after the Brisbane floods. This one was high and dry in good condition. Added some swaps. Happy caching !! Cute mural nearby (oh and coffee ️)
Back in Brisbane with Team Barritts, picking up smiley's with our muggle uncle.
Glad to find this one today in good condition, tftc chasingadventures!

We knew that when we left home there was a chance of rain. We saw lots of dark clouds but they seemed to be circling us like flies circle a chicken carcass. So far we had avoided everything and the day was looking dandy unlike the maggots in our bin that had found the chicken.
We were no more than 50 metres from the car when the rain started. It wasn’t heavy by any means but it was enough to send all the people picnicking in the park scurrying for cover.
Before looking for the cache our first stop was to use the amenities. Unfortunately the lock on the toilet door was busted and I had to ask myself the question on whether to squeeze and hold it in, or risk it for the biscuit. The last thing I wanted was to appear on A Current Affair as the adult found with his pants around his ankles as some kid busted in for a pee. Never has my bowel and bladder worked so fast. tftc

Taking some new-to-geocaching-friends out caching and this was our first stop! TFTC!
Great little spot! I love this cache quite a lot! Swag is really good too! Thank you so much!!
Stopped in for a quick cache as we drove past after a CITO event. Checked all the forks and came out empty handed
Well I guess we are suffering cache blindness, nothing could be seen, TFTH!
Hello chasingadventures, we looked for your cache today with no luck. Not saying it isn’t there however we couldn’t find it. Really hoping it is there but looks like someone has been digging around the fork with plenty of evidence of a previous searcher looking for something.
Cheers Team Barritts!

Late this afternoon, a plan to head farther afield wasn't viable, so instead, I met up with oz_bean_counter for a little bit of rabbit hunting. We ended up finishing up there well in the dark, and had to head back to civilisation. But, before we parted ways, it was mooted to grab this geocache. Yeah, I'm keen for that.
A few times it's popped onto my radar, but I forget why. Maybe an exact distance from some place, or the size. Either way, let's go find it. We ended up parking in the carpark off Abbotsleigh, and commencing a very dark walk via the track (even if OBC did protest we were going the wrong way at one point). Definitely, this wasn't the fastest route, but we got there, following dimmed phone torch lights.
Up the hill and to the obvious location, the geocache was spotted. But, naturally on the other side. So around we went. I dropped a handful of trackables in (regular containers are powerfully handy for such things) as OBC signed the logbook. To get back, I theorised via the bowls club driveway would be easier; and it was. Not even a gate to contend with. That'll do us for tonight I think, thanks for this geocache, a muggle no more and chasingadventures

Out with my muggle friend who does enjoy going on a cache hunt with me every now and then. We managed to fit in three quick caches before heading to dinner! TFTC!
After work i decided to find a few smileys around this area and i was very pleased. What a lovely area and nice park . The hint made for a quick find . Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Unfortunately a muggle was parked in his car very close to GZ. Unable to search the area. Better luck next time.
There was a huge event in the park today, but I was able to stroll to GZ without any problems. TN/LN/SL
Easy find thanks! Needed that after a DNF. TFTC! Everything nice and dry despite rain.
Requiring a trad to keep a particular challenge active I headed over to the southside for a couple of quick caches. Seems I was over this way yesterday and the day before and it turns out I’ll be that way again tomorrow. Oh well, the things we do to keep a challenge alive.
Found this one fairly easily after reading the hint; a walk into the bushy gardens and a little look around and then I spied something that was a little different to the rest of the area.
All good with this cache and a nice size cache for its hide, thanks for placing this one here. With log signed and cache return to its hide, I was on my way to the next one in the area.

This evening, I ventured out to Greenslopes and Holland Park for fitness exploring some of the parks and reserves, whilst also detouring past geocaches in the area.
What a great open park, and there were a few families and runners around the place here. Rather than parking near GZ, I parked the other side of the lawn bowls area, and then jogged around. Once I arrived at GZ, I made a quick find of the cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. There were not any other names in the logbook, so perhaps the CO has done some covert maintenance with the placement of a fresh logbook here? Thanks chasingadventures for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Quick find here today after having to come to Carina to get some shoes for my daughter. Tftc

Taking a break with my family while house hunting in the area, my 3-year old and I ventured out to find this cache. Although it's a bigger box, there was no pen (and I left mine in the car). So we had
to improvise and signed the log with the tail of a small green plastic dinosaur that was in the box (therefore it's barely legible).

The original GZ has been compromised by broken crockery, a bonfire and children using it as a hideout. Given these worries, I have moved the location to a quieter part of the park. Hope this makes finding it a bit more comfortable especially for adult geocachers.

Out for some caching fun with Brislions. I had been t find this cache previously, but I suspect it was missing at the time, as today it was found very quickly right where I had looked before. With our names added to the log and the cache returned to its spot, we were soon on our way again. TFTC
I was out with Selva Girls today caching Southside of Brisbane. We found 10 traditional 2 mystery and a Letterbox to make 13 finds. And on the way home got 2 FTF. We had a good day out.

This one was totally exposed. We placed it back in its hollow and covered with bits of wood.
Well safe to say its best not to tackle this one after school. There were kids everwhere. I would also recommend to the CO that you move this to a different location. There was literally 2 kids standing on the cache. The recent "Hot stuff" has made the GZ quite attractive to the children and a cubby house had been made over the area. I was about to leave when they cleared out. I moved in and grabbed the cache undetected. To avoid spotting I cleared off with cache in hand and made my mark. I wonder back to GZ to re secure the cache and was thwarted by kids again in the GZ. So I went for a wander with my "lunchbox" under my arm. About half an hour passed and the kids made themselves scarce. Cache secured as found. keep your eyes out fellow caches this one could be compromised. one other observation, there is a council sign warning surveillance in the area due to the recent vandilism. Hope you can maintain this because it is a lovley location that I would never have found if it weren't for the game.
Literally stopped here on my way somewhere else... not sure what the muggles with strollers thought was happening but I stopped and started applying Bug Spray... I think I got away with it... phew... tftc... left some Filipino coin...
