A trip to ACT with Chewinprickles - Day two on the deadly treadlies with Captain Tomato.
It started very chilly, but turned out a nice day for a ride.
There was a lot of water on the ground today, but we succeeded in grabbing the cache without getting wet feet.
Treated ourselves to a coffee and cake across the road after.
Thanks, Robmc.

Was looking for coffee by this stage but this was too tempting being right nearby.

Trolls liar indeed, with human excrement nearby and a saturated logbook. Tried to sign but definitely needs replacement.
Thanks to StrangeTrousers for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Cache was full of water and not able to be signed. Needs new logbook. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. Photo of the cache for logging requirement.
Another dark and stormy evening, but I had a small window for caching and decided to give this another go to change my blue and depressed smiley into a yellow one.
A couple of muggles around but all busy trying to negotiate the wind and drizzle and I managed to get close to GZ undetected. Using a torch was more of a problem, but I only did that for glimpses until I found the cache and then signed the log with the light of the street lamps.
Was very happy to get back to my car and drive home to a hot dinner.
Prior to coming to look for this cache I had not been here for nearly 16 years when my kids went to family daycare just on the northern edge of the park - which was then a half heartedly maintained bit of urban green space. I miss the bush that was here, but have to say that the development isn't that bad.
TFTC.

Well I went from the wrong end at first but then corrected myself. Log and container wet but I was able to write in my name. TFTC!
I think I need to come back when it's dry and maybe bit lighter. I kept having water run off dripping in my face and on my head.
Found after a nice brunch around the corner. I had my muggle partner stand watch, to let me know when it was safe to move around. He found my troll like behaviour very funny, as if this was the most extreme bridge cache I've gone searching for. Pfffft, please!!! Well hidden, not quite where I expected but good. A little wet on the inside, but log book safe and sound. Had to wait a little while to be able to clamber out due to muggle traffic, but my partner did manage to be useful in between fits of laughter. Thanks Strange Trousers!
I was in the area and made a short detour to try for this one. I parked nearby and headed to GZ. I could see what most likely would be involved and waited for a few muggles to get past before trying. Once there I quickly spotted the hide. I could hear muggles going by as I stamped the log and replaced all. I waited for all to be quiet before leaving and heading back to the car. TFTC.
Found at 5pm when plenty of dog lovers were running their dogs. Made it harder than it was. Like a previous cacher, from the right angle it is obvious.

Off work early and caught up with nibletricecakes for an afternoon of caching. TFTC
Well that took a lot of hunting! Just about to give up and I found the sucker. Few! Hot afternoon to be hunting with K8tybee. So satisfying to be going home with a smile on this one!
Parked nearby and walked to this one. Found a trackable inside which is now on tour with me, now to find somewhere for it to hide. TFTC
Parked nearby and walked into the GZ. Working with the gps had the cache in hand in no time at all.
Found a trackable inside which is now “on tour” with DeadThief.
Logbook signed and cache returned. Cheers StrangeTrousers for the hide.

Nice sunny early morning walk and caching trip. Sneaky hide, but the log is full. Thanks!
I had some spare time while the young fella was at training. A quick find tonight. TFTC
Easy find thanks to great coordinates and an even better hint. This is a lovely spot. TFTC
Found today with Joolay and Barb2e. So glad to avenge this DNF !
Condition Report:. Good and dry
Log Status:. Lots of room
Thanks for hiding this cache StrangeTrousersq

Had to come here today to finally pick this up after 3 times of not being able to find this. And of course there it was. Glad to finally have this one ticked off and my cache for the day. All good with cache. TFTC StrangeTrousers
Decided to go for a drive to break up my uni study - got two of the new nearby Haunted lab caches (extremely top quality, definitely recommend) and then arrived here for, probably, my 5th search of this cache! Been here numerous times before and never, ever had luck with it despite searching all over. If I explain what I did differently today it would spoil the hide but let's just say that today I said, "let's try a new approach and see how it goes"! Sure enough, I had the cache found within seconds. A lovely location which since the first time I searched up until now, has developed a heap and has changed into a beautiful new complex. TNLNSL. TFTC ST!
I'd been here before and been stumped, however I walked right up to it today. Lots of people about today so had to pick my moment.

E E E E EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE [Found!] at 5:09pm!
Out with Coolducky doing some caching, today wasn't exactly that good, 5 finds, five DNFs. But hey, at least we got some!
Got under the bridge and well, there are a lot of places to put a cache. Thank you for making this cache a small! Didn't help that there was about a million muggles walking over us. The cache was spotted by Coolducky and signed. TFTC StrangeTrousers!!

Found whilst in Canberra for the Rover Scout Moot. Once I worked out which side of the creek I needed to be I headed down and spotted the abnormality immediately. Signed log and re-emerged. TFTC
TFTC had me beat for a while old logs didn’t help but perseverance certainly helped
A nice sunny morning to be out caching, though that meant there were lots of muggles about. Geoson and I searched all over, whilst looking for trolls! We were there for about half an hour before Geoson "heard" some heavy footsteps and thought we might have awakened the troll. He wasn't that keen to keep looking after that!
We will have to try another time for this one.

Out with BonEm this arvo.
Thankfully this ended up being a easy find, once you were in the correct location.
Thanks ST for bringing us out to this lovely area.

I went to the War Memorial with Lpud today and we decided to clean up a few of the caches in the city area that are difficult to do during business hours because of muggles. TFTC
Found after visiting the War Memorial. It is the first time I have been in this area since the new buildings have been erected. Looks like it is going to be a nice area to live in after the construction is finished. A quick find, thanks StrangeTrousers.
I was in Queanbeyan with my boyfriends family, As I've not cached before, I signed some logs of the caches I found with XC, until I came up with my caching name.
I had lots of fun, met some nice people and found some great hides.
Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

In Queanbeyan to attend the Mega. So great to get here early to spend time catching up with some many familiar faces. Always taking the time to grab a cache, when the opportunity allowed it.
Out around Canberra with Di Morgan and newbie signing as XC, picking up some hides, after attending this mornings event. Had some fun and laughs along the way, while finding a number of good finds.
We started looking on the wrong side here but it was XC who came up with the goods.
Thanks StrangeTrousers for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

What we set out to do today was get our first find in the A.C.T. and this was the one. We tried searching from above but were unable to see the container so soon gave up on that and ventured through the long grass. Once at GZ it didn't take long to find the cache.

The gps was bouncing around but once I spotted the cachers trail, I soon saw something that looked l like it didn't belong. Tftc.
After sussing it out a few minutes are working it how not to be noticed we started looking and made a quick find. Awesome
Day for it and fun cache. TFTC!

This was nearly a give up for us today as we were on the wrong side to start with. Eventually found just as we were ready to walk away. TFTC.
Well, this one clearly had me beat and about to give up when GeoDaughter casually said "there it is!". I was totally looking in the wrong place. TFTC.
Dino and I picked up our car in Reid and though why not take Hoppy on a walk around this part of town were we get more rarely otherwise. So we covered the larger part of Campbell and found a total of 8 caches. We especially enjoyed the fun climbing caches in the area.
A quick find with this one today once we got down, though I am really wondering if there is any way to get this with dry feet when it has rained a bit more. Thanks for the Cache StrangeTrousers.

Was gettkng quite hot in tbe afternoon, but that didn't hold us back. Thanks dor putting out all those great caches.

Out caching with Wilbert67 down Canberra. An early start and managed to grab a few. This been one of them. Took a bit before finding it. TFTC
Once I got down to it, easy to spot. The insides of the cache were a little wet. I signed GW. TFTC StrangeTrousers.
After a bit of fun on the water kayaking with StrangeTrousers we stopped by for me to pick this one up on our way to another caching adventure. I had previously been aiming to pick this one up after a night out at the movies and had not thought through my footwear. High heels and late night caching do not go together. Thinking it would be safer and the ability to walk properly I jumped at the chance to get this one ticked off. At GZ it was great to hear all the frogs. Will attach a photo of one that we saw. First time a while that I have seen one. Might need to come back and record the sound the frogs make so I can identify it. There is a great little app out there for such things.
Thank you StrangeTousers for a great cache and giving me a chance to check out the new landscaping and a little frog spotting.

Heading over to the "Commons" for lunch so in the area and couldn't resist grabbing a few caches.. still more building to be completed and yes plenty of webs.. eventually got it , thankfully no rain recently as it would probably be alot more muddy.
thanks StrangeTrousers
