A big thank you to John and Chris for having us in their home for the event cache and making us the most delicious Waffle's I have ever had.Tftevent SoBad Paddle chick copied your recipe and now she wants me to make some thank you.
Y indeed A good turn out for a waffling good morning. Many thanks to our hosts for this event and all the wonderful waffles and coffee. Always good to catch up with other cachers in the community. TFTE, Biggles.
I couldn't miss the chance of good food and company so came along with my Dad (Biggles) Thanks for the event.
DNF - with very red faces because we'd heard about this but couldn't find where or when till just now - 11.45 - so apologies from Two-tara who would have loved to have been there!
Thanks to the SoBads for hosting, feeding and watering us all. Good to meet old and new faces and be able to gain some others wisdom and actually be able to impart some of our own.

Thanks for a good event. it was nice to meet the local geocachers. It was great that many geocachers could answer many of my questions about mapping & geocaching software as well as getting some hints for local caches some of the recommended caches. we enjoyed talking to everyone& the waffles were good. thank you.
At last, managed to make an Event and so good catching up with everyone I could get around. Still no further ahead with Hex and no hint on the fridge! Thanks for hosting.
The weather seemed to be in full agreement that it was a perfect day for an event just like this. I arrived quite early but wasn't the first and the waffling was already well under way; both verbally and culinary. The later seemed to be very well organised and I was very "impressed". Practice obviously does make perfect. Mine tasted awesome and was followed up with some nice coffee and plenty of waffling (er chat). A great friendly way to spend the morning and earn two smilies at the same time. If only caching was always this easy. I managed to hunt down some puzzle leads and returned a few in kind. I even scribbled a hint for both Hex and Renwick on the fridge note pad but I'm pretty sure no one noticed it. Thanks SoBads so much for hosting the event and for the choice of the event name.
Unfortunately we were running a bit late, but arrived in time to have a cuppa and a waffle and a chat, great venue with such a nice outlook from your lounge and so handy that the gardener comes to mow your huge lawn every few weeks - that is an excellent plan. Such a helpful and friendly group of people, and of course I learnt a lot so now I am feeling inspired to have another try at some of the puzzles that I had put in the too hard basket. Thanks for organising and hosting a lovely morning
It was wonderful to catchup with fellow geocachers, and learn new tricks to puzzle solving
We enjoyed the waffles and coffee
Thank you SoBad for organising this event and the yummy waffles and coffee.

It was incredibly generous of you both to share not only your home, coffee and waffles but also a huge proportion of the last day of your well earned holiday break. Another very successful event thanks so much. TFTE #9029
Wow, what a great event! Great hosts, great conversation, great turnout.
Thank you SoBads for arranging this conveniently named event.

School holidays are usually a part known and part unknown entity. Hence the late attend notice. The turnout was fantastic and the waffles disappeared as fast as they were put in front of everybody. Kudos to the hosts for organising this event. It was a great opportunity to catch up with cachers young and old, known and unknown to me. Tall stories were shared with laughter as were tips and hints. The cache name is a welcome addition to our collection too Thank you SoBad
It was intended to be very convenient that Events are the one cache the CO can actually log. The event was planned a while ago (thanks to BigglesNZ for promising a waffle machine) but the name was going to be helpful to our team as well as to others until a letterbox cache in Blenheim gave us an alternative. Thanks to all who attended for the great company. Special thanks to those who brought plungers with them - so many that we did not need them all but better too many than not enough.
Great to catch up again with familiar and new faces...excellent waffles and coffee too. It was rather nice to walk in the door just as a fresh batch of waffles was a being plated up - YUM. A big thanks Mr & Mrs SoBad for hosting the event.
Y not indeed!!!! Thanks for the great event. Really enjoyed the waffles and coffee and it was great to catch up with lots of people. Congratulations on achieving the July spelling challenge. I see you have had one of the necessary caches since 2011 so you only needed three in 2016 .
Great food, great company, picked up a few hints and a smile. Great start to a Sunday morning. Thanks to our wonderful hosts

Lovely catch up and good to put faces to names. Loved the yummy waffles . Thank you so much to both of you, and the Disher Washer
Where did those last three years go - it only seems like yesterday? I'm looking forward to it thanks SoBads.
Looks like things will work out well to allow me plus 2 to accept your invite; so Y not indeed.
It will be good to see some faces I am yet to meet.
I shall also be bringing a rather large notebook, 'cos there are one or two, or three or four puzzles...

We will have 4 waffle makers - thanks to BigglesNZ and other non caching friends - but only one coffee plunger. So if any one attending can Y not bring your plunger with you. Tea, hot chocolate and instant coffee (we know some people who prefer that) will also be available.
Sad to say but we won't be able
to attend because we are going to
Westport for the weekend. Thanks will catch
up u guys and girls another time.

We are planning to attend, 2 or 3 of us - not sure if my dad will be with us yet and probably won't know until the day. Looking forward to catching up again
I should be around on Sunday. At this point, I can attend this event. My sister loves waffles a lot so there'll definitely be two of us, maybe five at the absolute max. This is my first event.
Great idea, and I will certainly try to get along to see if the solution to Hex is by chance carelessly written on the kitchen noteboard, the back of the toilet door ... anywhere in fact. Sorry, I'm waffling on a bit. Look forward to catching up.
Another event goody the hole fam will be there
So there will be a x5 attending. Thanks can't wait
