Long weekend road trip out to the Wheatbelt to finish off a series I started last year and also pick up some extras along the way. Stopped off here on the way into Northam. Probably should have stopped the car alongside a more gentle gradient but up I went and was soon at GZ A nice quick find in what could be a tricky GZ. No problems here - TFTC
I'm usually not worried about snakes but after couple of close encounters with snakes this year. I am paranoid to walk in the long grass / bush land / forest. I need to remind myself to wear boots when I go geocaching. TFTH***It was unexpected day out by myself.Bit warm out there today but luckily clouds made a big difference. #3398
A sleep in this morning in the cool weather.
Mrs F did her morning walk whilst Mr F did the housework and packed lunch.
Then we hit the road to tackle a few caches. Seems we added some KEP track caches along the way. Visited a winery and just had to do a tasting and have a chat (after finding the cache of course) visited some historic spots, some clever evil caches along the way. Did some cache maintenance to help out the CO's and returned to camp on dusk. Big day out for these nomads.

Day 1 of WAGB22 week, the plan was to go to Northam and do a few along the way including KEP Series near Clackline and the walk up the hills in Bobakine Nature Reserve. Did some GG Series but had to miss a few and some missing in the roadworks sections.
66 Finds and 4 DNF, and 1 not willing to swim in the Avon.
Thanks to all the CO’s for their hides and maintaining the series.

Dodging the spider webs was the biggest challenge in finding this cache. Thanks
We visited this one on our final day camping and caching around the York/Northam area. Sadly, all good things must come to an end though and today we were homeward bound, but of course we had to stop and find a few caches along the way. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and attempt to find OOH YEH.
Hi there OOH YEH. I was out with Mistraluna for a couple of planned days of Geocaching around the FOTT trail near York. We had both worked out finals for all caches and using the Nuvi and both GPS's, all caches were found quickly - and the containers and logs are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to OOH YEH for this cache - our find 8333
So out on another Geocaching weekender with Spatial Riq, this time off to the Northam for the 2019 WAGB. Great weekend picking up nearly 70 Caches over the two days. A great variety in the area....

As were are staying in the area we thought we would tackle some of the local caches along the Kep Track and pipeline as well as a few others. The co-ords for some gave a general indication of where GZ was, but caches for some were found quite some metres from that point. It was an interesting day's hunt, along with ilook4geo, with some finds being more challenging.
The caches which took us to places where there was signage about the local history were really appreciated.
Thanks go to OOH YEH for this cache placement.

Thank you! I set out with papillon367, Photo-Play and Bindi01 to cycle the Kep track between Bakers Hill and Northam. A straightforward find here.
Teamed up with Photo-Play, ullyssia and Bindi01 to tackle the KEP track by bike between Bakers Hill and Northam. This cache was found quickly after a pleasant ride down the hill. Thank you for the hide OOH YEH.
Found ROOM FOR ONE MORE. Awesome container from GZ. Lots and lots swaps. No trackables to trade TNLN SL TFTH OOH YEH.
TFTH OOH YEH!! Must have been a sight with all of us clambering up for a find!! Well worth the effort!!
Not sure if we approached this one as the CO intended but claimed our smilie just the same! Saw a bobtail sunning itself, which quickly changed some of our team's direction to GZ! Haha! TFTC
Enjoying a holiday in Perth with tmann421 and collecting a few caches along the way.
Another great find here. TFTC

Was looking for something a bit smaller, so this made for a quick find. TFTC
TFTC! Cravo10 and I had a share day off to go caching together again, so made time to head out and grab a heap of the TbroG series, some of the remaining Julimar wonder caches, some odd ones in and around toodyay before heading to Northam to take the Kep track and great eastern highway back to Perth. We finished the day with thirty plus finds which was a good effort with a late start and early finish.
The TBroG series has kept flooding the inboxed when a new section gets published so we've been trying to keep on top of it and not let it blow up the map. All found reasonably quickly and some took a while longer as they are very well placed.
We had planned to complete the six remaining Julimar wonder caches I had left to complete but after a navigation stuff up we managed to miss one of the caches!! Eeek!! I guess we can just come back again!
We the headed into toodyay and grabbed a couple of caches and a drink to replenish us a bit. We liked the toodyay information bay cache which was a well made camo.
We then headed to Northam where we lined up a bunch of the Kep track caches that we still haven't managed to knock over. All found without issues, including honky doozy which was nearly lost forever as I dropped the cache into the leaf litter, thank goodness I found it
Had a great day out and can't wait to come back soon for more! Thanks

Out and about with B12, late logging however have back dated so as to report correctly,
Have been in the area a few times in last couple of weeks and finally have the chance to check over old logs.

I had been keeping an eye on this area for some time now and I finally decided to head here with my cycle and fill in an RDO. My main goal was grabbing as many of 'The Kep' series as I could but I was also able to get the smilies on a few nearby caches as well. Thanks to the cache owners for the placements and I apologise in advance for the generic logs .
OOH YEH - jinta29 found your cache ROOM FOR ONE MORE on 29/07/2016, 12:46 PM. This is my find #5514 and find #43 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

I'm pretty sure I found this one....just surprised to see only 1 online log before mine?? I'm sure someone will dob me in if my name is not on the log, but fingers crossed my memory has served me well. Thanks for the cache OOH YEH.
Heading home from a massive drive around the wheatbelt when this cache was published... Our emails had been going crazy all day from finders of our caches when this email was also amongst them! Couldn't believe it when we got home & we realised that we had driven right by an unpublished cache
Anyway I decided that I would go back out & find it after dropping the rest of the family at home... Made it to GZ, then found a nice spot to park a little further up the hill & took the 60m walk to GZ where I quickly found the prize
It seems that being a little slow of the mark has left us with second prize AGAIN... We will have to start pulling our finger out if we want to get a FTF around here lol [:o)] TFTC OOH YEH!!! And Congrats also to Bristag [^]

Seeing another cache squeezed into the Kep track it was all I could do not to find it straight away , enjoying the fun it was going to be interesting to see who if anyone would find it before me.
Opening the laptop I quickly downloaded the GPX to my GPSr and rushed out the door.
Heading to the bridge in town I suddenly remembered there was a RBT stop that I had not long gone through before, so I swung the car around and headed to Spencers Brook hoping to avoid the stop.
Making my way to trimmer road and back to the highway I was soon in the rough area of the cache....or so I thought! I had gone a few K's past it [:o)]
Realizing my mistake I resigned my self that too much time had passed and I was certain someone had beaten me. Pulling up I saw no one else and clambering up to GZ (D2?) I was soon at GZ, and I must say OOH YEH I was surprised that this cache which is half the size as the last one was half easier to find!!!
Opening the well stocked cache I peeled open the log to find nothing. Oh Yeah *FTF @ 1759*
Thanks for all the fun OOH YEH, maybe someone will beat me next time
