Alas the post cyclone tree maintenance has made a casualty of the branches that used to hold the cache so snugly. i am going to put a new cache in a different spot in the same park. But it is such a different kind of cache that I just couldn't stretch this ones description that far.
I'm waiting on a shipment of new caching gear to see what might work in this location now that this round of post cyclone tree trimming/maintenance is completed.

I wasn't expecting such an easily accessible cache which made the claim nice and quick.
I am in Australia for 2 weeks, starting with the Mega-event in Alexandra, Victoria.
After an AMAZING 3-day liveaboard-divetrip in The Great Barrier Reef, my plan is to drive from Cairns to Brisbane. I found a car online that needs to be relocated, so I have a free car for 6 days, that's perfect for geocaching
In the beginning of my drive, I did some detours and diving, but now it's my 2nd last day and I'm running out of time. Therefore I had to drive the shortest route from Rockhampton to Brisbane. Turned out google directed me into a gravelroad with lots of caches. My plan was to do some caches in Brisbane in the evening, but I couldn't just drive past all these caches in the nice countryside, so I ended up skipping some of my plans for Brisbane instead.
About this cache:
Lots of construction and lots of cars in front of me, so I decided to stop for this cache and get back quickly before the next long line of cars came by. Plan was successfull, it was a quick park and grab. Nice container and hiding-spot. Tftc, greetings from Norway

Going further south today and to break up the long drive, I tried to grab a few caches along the way.
This one was easily found.

Nice find with quite a few swaps if anyone has kids and looking for ones they will enjoy. Tftc
We are on the way to Rockie with our caravan. Enjoying the countryside and grabbing some smilies.
We found logbook only. So we added our scribble, put it in plastic bag and mint tin.

Road Trip Day 1: Brisbane to Rockhampton. Quick deviation off the Bruce to grab a couple of caches around here. It was starting to get dark so the park was completely clear. Located the container without much fuss. TFTC!
Found at 1:57 PM GAFF1.
Do you know that the Rising Sun badge does not actually bear a sun rising? It is a series of daggers and swords fanned out over a semi circle. I was once reprimanded by a military historian when I said that it was the rising sun like the Japanese flag! Like being told off by a school teacher for saying something dull [:o)]
Thanks for the interesting information about the town and the lime processing plant - we love to know how these towns operate and how they are still surviving.
Thanks bertoady.
Feedback: Once again to us this is not a small - but a regular because of the overall cache size.

11:24:00 AM. Found the cache easy enough but no log. Signed a piece of paper and put back. Cache very exposed. I don't know if it is meant to be like that. Thanks bertoady for the cache.
A nice quick and easy find on our way from The C aves to Agnes Water. .TFTC
Back on line with an interim cache. It's proving rather difficult to source a container the same shape as the last one. Same size for this one. I'm interested to see if it has staying power in its present setting.
A "Debbie" victim, will replace just as soon as a suitable container can be found.
TFTC 2271# Out and about with Muggle sister and miss millie geo dog what a lot of rain we have had
On our way from Calliope River to Rockhampton, which five caches will we catch? Called in to the Rising Sun, thought it would be a great place for coffee and cache. Yes it was, found the cache, and had some coffee. Counted three coal trains in the time we were there. Thanks bertoady
Easily found at 09:03 on our 10th day on holiday in Australia.

Found on my drive south today, logging a few caches along the road.
South of Rocky I had more caches available, this is far outside my normal range.
Very nice camo on this cache!
Thanks for placing for me to find

Nice to find an excuse to explore these little towns. Snails still nestling neatly.
Found cache laying on the ground, signed log, left calling card and replaced where it should be.
It tried some snail bait but it had no affect whatsoever.
Thanks birtoady for enabling me to discover this little gem and top marks for creativity.

Headed out with Ratdog after school /work today as we needed to find a cache to put one of our deadly ducks into. This one was a possible. Too right it fit the bill perfectly , Dropped in a Deadly Duck Greedy (seems he may have eaten all the chocolates and mints too.) He is wanted to attend the Deadly Duck Drop off event GC6N4MA on August 20th.
Details of the Deadly Duck race can be found here

tftc,
Today is day 10 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1.
At this stage it just involves highway driving, but that will change and the places people take you to with their cache placements will inspire you to explore our great country.
Time for lunch and a cache. I am giving a favorite the effort that has been given to placing this cache.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. This card provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au".
Happy caching.

A nice coffee stop, and a great geocache to go with the coffee ad cake. Signed the log and replaced. Thanks to bertoady.
Quick stop and cache was spotted by 'J' after a short hunt. Great hiding spot! Took very cool crafty magnet, left cupcake eraser, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
Just as a little bit of info for the cache owner, who might like to amend the cache description. The coal trains using the North Coast Line are generally 1700 metres long, and when loaded haul at a gross weight of up to 10812 tonnes. Yes, I drive them for a living.

Right here, right now. Found at 0730hrs 25 June 2016, 10 years to the day since we started Geocaching. In that time, we have found about 3700 caches, been to 4 Mega events, placed about 120 caches, cached in every state and territory of Australia, and Mrs Bundy has cached in Japan. Future plans include a 3 week caching trip in Sept/ Oct down around Nanango, Woodford, Double Island Point area, and a 4 week trip to the next Oz Mega at Alice Springs, Easter 2017.
Thanks for the opportunity to grab a commemorative FTF. Nice easy grab and nicely kept grounds commemorating the service given to our country by our forebears.
