Bit muddy today along here on our bikes, Nelson certainly has had its fair share if rain- TFTC
A quick find while entertaining the kids on a rainy day. Grateful for bringing spare clothes....
I picked my way to GZ through the overgrowth and spotted the telltale color of the cache as I got close. On the way out I found the well-worn Geopath. TFTC.
A quick find, thanks for tje cache. My 300th. Log a bit damp, needs a baggie for log sheet, i just found out that i have run out. Thanks for the cache.
I went for a late afternoon stroll along the river. This to achieve two objectives, to find a cache or two, and to get my daily step count over the line. Hit both targets and enjoyed the walk as well. TFTC
Nice to be away on another geocaching trip with tmann421, travelling to a few places in the upper South Island.

A sunday adventuring with Missnboyz. Park and grabs today dodging between the rain. All good here TFTC
Due to NZ being at Alert level 4 and some people insisting on continuing to geocache and put others at risk I am disabling my caches until such time as it's safe to resume this activity.
Any logs I receive for finds during this time will be deleted. I don't care anymore about YOUR safety than you obviously do but I do care very much about others and want them to be safe so please do NOT look for any of my caches while they are disabled.
In the meantime, there's always plenty of puzzles to be solved or created but above all PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

Got there. Approaxhong from the oppsite direction was pedmuggle with a canine muggle. Waited for them to pass. Retrieved signed and returned log and cache. As I retreated saw a cyclemuggle. TFTC
Out for a bike ride with Lustylass on a cool but sunny day and a chance to hunt down some of the caches around Brightwater that we didn't get to on a previous visit. All good with this one.
This is my second visit to the area and another chance to do some caching with the bonus of a bike ride by the river. i have brought Bovverboy along to do the heavy lifting and dirty work. Nice quick find under the leaves.
Thanks for the hint, with the colour it was hard to spot (at least in winter with natural camo on top).
Signed the new log and replaced as found. Will walk a bit more before heading back to the car

Easy find while out on the tandem today. Cache nr 100 for us. Logbook too damp to sign.
Quick find on a park and grab raid down this road. Thanks for the cache Holymu.
Monday was Marlborough Anniversary Day, so a good chance for myself and Jo to head over the hill for a few smilies. It has been a while since we have done some caching, so we were looking forward to this. So we loaded up the bikes with the aim of sampling some of the good taste trail in and around Richmond and Hope. That proved to be a moderately successful few hours. Then a stop for some retail therapy and a bite to eat, and with the weather looking a little more menacing we decided to do rack up the steeds and do park and grabs for the rest of the day, in whichever way they fell. Good fun, and the rain never eventuated, so all up an enjoyable trip. Thanks to all COs, and apologies for the cut and paste.

Usually when given a choice of two hiding places, I check the wrong one first. Got it right first time today though
Walked past a couple of times this afternoon with my mind elsewhere. Once I was paying attention it was a quick find.

2 of Them - there are indeed, and an instant find in the obvious location.
Despite all the rain everything bone dry. Grabbed the TB which I'll try and help on its way. Thanks for the cache.

The Seagnoid has a caching mission of two this weekend so the Team (The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I) head to Brightwater, Nelson to complete his mission.
Its early Sunday morning and Toby is rearing to go today. Yes - lets go exploring!!
We are driving along the riverbank before walking the loop walk later in the day. Quick snag and tag here. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I are in town, basically I am avoiding caching in Blenheim on weekends. And with a cache title like this I had to get into the swing of things. Added two emeralds. Added two path tags. Added two ... no, wait, added just one trackable.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
A quick find, cheers.
Found on a long weekend up in Nelson/Marlborough, with family, friends, and caching. Ticks all my boxes!!
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Parked at the end of Pugh road and set off with the dog to give him a bit of a run around. Collecting caches on the way. Second visitor for the day. I seem to be following KarmaReprint today. Nice quick find and off to the next. Thanks for the cache.
nice day for a bike ride, a shame some one dropped off a fish by GZ has a nice aroma now the sun has come out
After cycling the south island for 2 months we are spending the last 2 weeks of our holiday in the Nelson area - and naturally we need to log some caches . Tftc!

Found whilst cycling the Great Taste Trail and the Twin Rivers Walkway. #23 of 27 attempted today. Nice quick find. Sorry for the generic log. TFTC.

Well trodden area as mentioned in previous log.

Again - easy find thanks to previous visitors leaving a well-trodden path! Dropped off TB.
Came for a nice ride down by the riverside to collect some caches. Found the cache quite quickly thank you.
With a souvenir up for grabs for finding a puzzle cache, a day on duty on Sunday preventing any potential road trips on that day and there being no local puzzles to solve, or find, on my side of the hill there was likely to be only one outcome; yet another trip over the Whangamoas for a Nelson caching raid. All this was tied up with a weather prediction of better weather in Nelson than Blenheim (for once) so a trip was planned. mrs capperz and nightowl desired some retail therapy with a double tap of Nelson C B D, followed by the now obligatory Richmond Mall visit. All that means is I get to drop them off at each location and cache around the vicinity. Nice.
Probably our last trip over this way for a couple of months with our impending trip overseas now just over 2 weeks away. Excited!
Having collected my girl passengers and deposited them at the Mall, I had 3 hours of caching to be getting on with so a decision to clear out the banks of the Wairoa river followed by a trip up eves Valley seemed to be just what would fill in the time nicely.
Onto a nice little walk now, spots of rain but nothing to halt the show. Q E F at G Z and a T B added to the cache, so long to the Lego janitor.

Guessed where this might be on approach and sure enough I was not wrong. A lovely winter morning to be out and about making a few finds. TFTC .
I decided to head out this way for a short bike ride this afternoon as it was such a beautiful winters day. No trouble spotting the feature from some distance away and the cache was also a quick find. Nice one.
Thanks holymu.

Out for a bit of night time caching, the first for a while. First find nice and easy. TFTC
Our 2nd for the day, using the GPS not the new phone (phone was saying I was 50m from cache), and an easy find.
Choice of 2 ways to go - but one had one cache and one had three. So we ended up here with a choice of two. No problem as the GPS favoured one of the two and a cache was there.
Thanks. Now onwards along a familar road.

For me this was one of the two caches left along here and because this was the first I came to on a very busy day I took the nice quick find and headed off again to complete a few more things that needed to be done today. TFTC #8660
This morning I woke after only 2 snooze buttons, that doesn't happen very often and the first thing I thought of was the FTF that was out there when I went to bed. A quick check showed it still there, got ready for work in record time, unfortunately I was still pushing it for time so could only do one of the two so of course the possible FTF had to come first. Found straight away but still had missed out by about 25 minutes. Took TB. Was only 5 minutes late for work. Will be back after work for the other one. Thanks holymu

The car was well and truly filthy having been out here yesterday and I felt like giving it a wash today.
So it seemed like a good idea to come and find these caches before I did.
One white car returned home every brown.

Family commitments and the persistent precipitation meant that I had to follow the yesterday's FTF-fest from the relative comfort of home yesterday.
It did leave me pondering the reason that, despite telling myself that FTFs aren't the be-all-and-end-all, I was slightly irked and envious of those out and about regardless of the weather.
So I was somewhat pleased when I saw the late publication of a further cache along this route and, given my early start today, vowed to stop by at first light.
Once at the GZ and suitably wet-of-foot, I was glad there were only two of them, as I needed both before I found the one I was after.
A good start to the week with a FTF at 07:30. Dropped off a TB and now off to look for the other two newbies along here.
Not sure if I passed a fellow FTF hound coming the other way. If I did - "Hi" and sorry for not stopping.

A early than usual start for me today, my third visit to this road in two days. I was pipped at the post for the ftf as I passed msebn as he was just leaving the GZ. I just waved as I had only a few minutes to spare before needing to be at work. Luckily I had my gumboots as it was a bit wet underfoot after all of the rain yesterday. A quick find and off to work for me tftc
