Had a reasonably good search. A bit concerning that it hasn’t been found for a year and a half.
Came with @benben364 today. Searched for a while and even went over to the other side of the fence. Will come back again.
Not my favourite search item, and second time here. Quickly spotted the cache in a place I hadn't checked properly last time, cheers
Out to collect a couple of caches after dinner. Oh yes plenty of flax here but we got the right one.
Arghh, not my favorite sort of hide, but could see where most of the searching had taken place so started there and was soon rewarded with the cache.

#68 Found with my mum Gr33nslime and perhaps my dad JimmyNZ. Trying the mass logging thing with GSAK hence the really general log entry!
Up in Auckland visiting family for Christmas. Happened over this way with Gr33nslime so we could bring DangerSAM to see his greatgran in a nearby retirement village. After an interesting visit where DangerSAM talked a lot we decided once he'd settled in his Dangercapsule to try get a cache out this way. This was the closest so we gave it a go. Not till we got there did we see the flax. Motivation killer right there. I spent 5 mins having a dig around for it before having to concede and let Gr33nslime have a go. Well she used her far superior patients to find this in quick order. Good little distraction on the way home. TFTC.
# 864 Flax is not my most favourite caching foliage (although better than cutty grass or gorse). jimmyNZ and I were over this way to visit a grandma in the near by residential home and thought we would try for a cache. This one was the closest so while one of us minded DangerSAM, the other had a look. JimmyNZ lost patience so tagged out after 5 minutes and left it up to me. It was hard to find with a smart phone and i had to pace up and down a bit, with the nearby playground goers pretty much oblivious to me. I made the find in the end, surprisingly, under some flax, and it was the cache version that was in a blue tube? Thanks for the cache Sasha1245
Not sure if ian and I found the real one, but we found one of them! Claimign that as a win!
Not sure if I found the right one but I signed the log and decided that I had had enough of flax for the day
On our first attempt to look for this cache there were people playing ball close to GZ and we did not even get out of the car. We made a return visit to this little park tonight to search under the cover of darkness. It took a bit of looking but eventually we did come up with the cache. Thanks.
Really close to my friends house, so we really wanted to find it. Funny description and good to find after quite a lot of searching
On arrival thought oh no ,flax, however, although I nothing borrowed, I soon found something blue and was on my way. Tftc
I popped out for a couple of hours around midday to run an errand and to collect a few caches for my troubles. This was my first stop. I ended up having to invent some parking here as all the roadside parks were taken. Luckily the cache was found after the briefest of searches. After signing the log I had a get scout around for the other mystery container and quickly found that too. Didn't sign that one. Cheers for the cache placement!
Made this harder than it should have been. Decided to go off the amended co-ords on the very first log. Looked for a while before deciding to load the original CO details into the GPS. Looking more hopeful as there was definite signs of recent activity. Very pleased to then find cache, especially since the rain started to get heavier. Daily cache completed, now off to work. TFTC
Rather odd !
I was at a concert in Takapuna today so came by after to get this cache...
Quick find ....
It looked on paper log as though I was second after Glyn !
Have since heard there were 2 caches here !
Have now been amalgamated .
Interesting and intriguing !
Thanks Sasha12345

Spoke to G2 today and it seems there is a bit of a mystery here. I described the cache we found and where we found it, and it did not match with G2's find... Well, mystery solved. Harisree and I returned this evening very confused about what has happened here and found... There are two caches here!!!?!?! See pics showing the two caches and contents, and our log. So we just tore the page off with our logs and added it to the blue cache and whatever will be will be. We returned the second cache to its hiding spot as, well, it must belong to someone out there!!! Weirdness.
Ok, here goes our story. We decided to go for an FTF attempt with kids sleeping in the car and reached GZ to join FMZ. Searched for ages in and near the given coords. Searched every flax, and every nook and corner. Three pairs of eyes searching for a D2/T1.5 cache for almost an hour and was about to turn frustrated that we widened our search area and finally found the cache. We signed an [FTF] and left the scene to get some sleep before the Omana Adventure. We believed what we found is the cache until hari received a call from FMZ, that G-2 found another one. What?? !!! Returned to GZ next evening to find a blue container staring on our face from the flax... How did we even miss that? anyways , we tore of the pages and put in the blue container. TFTC
Found with harisree. We searched for quite some time, as there is quite a lot of flax (not my favourite kind of hide), and finally found the cache after extending our search a bit. Didn't quite match up with the hint...? Anyway, try S36 46.611 E174 45.223. Empty logbook so joint [FTF] with harisree. FTF #19xx TFTC
I found the cache easily using the given coords, congrats on your first hide! Lets see some more, all ok, thanks.
