Somehow missed this cache while doing the Adlab today. Returned this afternoon and got the cache. Found a uncovered so tried covering it a bit more. Tftc
This was a quick find from my stay here at the Noel Oxnam rest cottage, a beautiful area and I'm surprised by how many geocaches are here
Staying a couple of nights at the DOC campground, what a beautiful spot. A nice straight forward find while taking a walk this afternoon, TFTC
I'm staying in St Arnaud for a few nights and after my arrival this afternoon, explored some of the village, finding this cache while out and about. A nice outlook from the church here. TFTC!
QEF here. Using the hint I walked straight to it. Guess you have to go to a church service here to see the view! They have grabbed it in the build of the church. TFTC and greetings from the UK
A quick find with Kimmy+co. We found not one but two caches here. Presume one must have been a replacement for the other at some time. Lovely little chapel with an amazing view. tftc
Great to be back down south from Tauranga, even better to collect a few caches along the way. Many thanks.
Came here to do the adventure lab and soak in the view from the church. Happy days a cache as well. I wonder how tall this magnificent specimen was! On another adventure with Piwaka54.
This nearly had me stumped ????I have previously done a cache here a few years back ?? but stumbled across this one unique place for worship..thanks sidewaze ??
We have been to this church before. Quite a surprise to find a church hidden away. The cache was well hidden away too. I'm blaming my bike helmet for getting in the way of a quick find. . Thanks for the placement sidewaze
I started in some usual hiding spots, but didn't find the cache until I looked in the right spot and at the right angle. TFTC.
Got to gz and found the cache in plain sight so popped it back into it little hidey hole. Cheers for the smiley
The wonderful places that geocaching takes you to. We are so pleased we took the time to visit this chapel today. The views are just heavenly. Tftc. Eatmorchikin from Brisbane
Took quite a bit, though we were at the right spot the whole time. Nice camo, a bit higher than expected. Hid again. TFTC
Came here to get a stage of the Adventure Lab and the Traditional was a bonus. I found the previous cache here many years ago. TFTC
Doing a bit of caching with Sidewaze. Went on a little run with Sidewaze to St Arnaud. Had a bit of a hunt for this one TFTC
Overlooked the hide a couple of times, then it all became obvious.
Tftc . Nothing like caching in the snow

It's the school holidays and we are up in the area for a few days, so I took a fast walk past this one. A previous blue face was turned yellow this time. Yes, that prickly stuff is getting annoying here.
Cache is there. I found on my second sweep.
Next finder should take loopers and cut off the horrible blackberry that is growing before it takes over.

Lovely church, thanks for placing a cache here. While the others were kayaking for an hour, I explored the area. I didn't have a pen, so I enclose a picture of the logbook.
Thanks sidewaze for placing another cache here in beautiful St Arnaud. Songs of bellbirds while visiting this one.
Thought this one was going to be a gone burger. But no. It still lives. There has been a bit of chainsaw work done very close by. But the cache is safe. Tftc
#10,156. Day 5 of the southern road trip. Infoferret and I decided to travel around the top of the South Island after the Mega event in Auckland at Labour weekend was postponed. Its been a great opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Canterbury and Westland. After staying overnight in Westport we are making our way today to St Arnaud and Murchison today. The weather has been great so far on the trip. Like an early summer. But this morning its light rain and drizzle. It cleared up for a while near Murchison but the gloom has descended once more in St Arnaud.
After doing some caches near Murchison we drove straight to St Arnaud as we had a lot of caches to do here and yet had to return to Murchison this evening. After a coffee and snack at the cafe we headed up here to do the adventure lab. But this nearby traditional beckoned. We wandered around to the church and I headed off the path to make a reasonably quick find of this nicely hidden cache. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Enjoyed the lake view from the window of the church. Thanks Sidewaze for hiding it here.

Good hide. Log came out easy enough. Fast find. Beautiful woodlands. All in good order. TFTC
Staying at a Bach very close to this, so I made a quick find this morning before heading to the skifield. Found easily but couldn't get the log out, not even with tweezers. Nice view through the church window to the lake!
Took me a little while to sort the hide out in the rain. Guess I was trying to stay as dry as possible but there is so much foliage around this area I ended up soaking anyway.
Thanks for the cache Sidewaze , I did sneak into the church only to see lots of clouds out the window today, but I could imagine a lovely setting.
On a roadie today through to Picton, hopefully not too much more rain.

A nice quick find thanks. The view from the front door through the church is stunning.
Another long weekend, another wee road trip, this time up to Golden Bay area, with Ms_KR. The daylight hours are are getting shorter, but luckily the weather is dry and warm, mostly. Today we cruised from Hanmer to Motueka.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Nosynel, Graciesgpsfun, Ethmess and I are caching the top of the south. Today's mission will take us to St Arnaud. Lovely spot, St Arnaud. Years ago we used to live in Blenheim and stay up here. Enjoyed the view from the chapel. Hope the blackberry doesn't take over. Thanks for the hide.

#691. Mr and Mrs Northwood travelled south to visit one of the junior Northwoods and explore the Abel Tasman and Golden Bay areas.
The first few stops were about clearing blue sad faces from 2016. We were successful! Well, Mrs N was.
This one was found higher than the hint suggested... we left it where we found it.

Thanks Cache Huntr for placing this cache
It was another cool find on a hot day passing thru after a night in the nearby DOC campground being eaten by sandflies!
Loved the wooden beam structure and view from within the chapel
Sadly some blackberry vine is slowly trying to take-over GZ but cache all secure.

We are spending a couple of days in saint Arnaud, and we went for a stroll today in between the showers. A quickish find today, and a great view from the little church here. TFTC Sidewaze.
Found with Ulmuslyn on this beautiful day
Was lying on the ground, replaced the cache close-by
Thank you for the cache

Took some time to find the right place. Thank you to whomever left the stick - I wouldn't have been able to get the cache out. Signed with @peadub. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ trees have been cut down and there is a lot wood and small logs in front of the stump. Quick check around the stump but no luck here today.
Decided we deserved to have a road trip so our first stop was at St. Arnaud for the night. Booked in to our accommodation and went out their back gate onto the Black Valley Stream walk. Lovely wander through the beech forest to the lake and were surprised at the number of homes/baches hidden away there. A short side trip to the chapel from the track and we had another one to add to our growing finds. TFTC.
I disabled my caches during Level 4 lockdown to encourage everyone to do the right thing. Now we’re moving to Level 3 I’m going to leave the decision to search for a cache or not to each individual. Remember you still need to stay in your bubble and a bit of hand sanitiser before and after handling a cache would be appropriate. Keep yourself and others safe.

#1077. I've been walking the Te Araroa trail and this is day 94. This cache is the 68th cache I've found along the way.
After a large three course meal at the Alpine Lodge I desperately needed to walk off some of it. So I chose this cache as a place to walk to. I'm glad I did, it's a nice little spot!
Thanks for the cache! [Here's a link to my Te Araroa blog entry for today](http://teararoa.g2.co.nz/2020/01/16/day-94-beebys-knob-junction-to-st-arnaud/) for anyone interested!

Originally looked at the wrong stump until we really did spot a BIG stump. What a beautiful view from the church! TFTC
Quick find after having to return due to a wedding taking place earlier in the day. Cache was in the open so rehid where we thought it should be. Tftc
