This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

coastblue I didn’t find your cache Pinaroo on 2/5/21, 12:03 pm. Found the stump, then searched around the area but nothing found.
Had a little search around this afternoon, but unfortunately did not find..onto the next one!
First time finding one of these caches. Was fun!
We brought along a paper log and placed it in the cache. I can’t guarantee it will stay dry! But at least it something.
I liked finding the geocache even nown I was lased too find it.

After a DNF last time I came back with BarberBlackSheep who came up with the goods. However, no logbook inside.

Found this out of the corner of my eye while looking at the obvious
Unfortunately it has been disturbed and no log is inside

We had DNFs here in January and February 2020. Today we rocked up and pretty much spotted it right away. Surely it could not have been in the same place back then? Cache blindness is a funny thing. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Came to GZ, looked in the most obvious spot and as per hint, checked around and nothing.
First cache since being stuck inside from COVID-19
It's great to be back outside

I went out with a replacement ready today and found the original next to the stump on the ground. I tried to put it back in the stump but cut myself so have decided to leave it where I found it.
Came past here on the 6th and could not find the cache. Reading through past logs gave us an idea of where and what to look for but we could not find it. Today armed with some more information thanks to the CO we came back to confirm our suspicions that the cache has been muggled. Will be back again another time. Thanks Coastblue.
No luck again today after a first DNF on 26 January. Will watch with interest. Cheers.... Gaztek
Came to the Merrylands/Fairfield area for some geocaching before the long weekend ends. No luck for us here today. We examined the most likely GZ very closely. Reading the cache notes, it seems that the hint is misleading so we widened our search area quite a bit but still came up empty handed, will watch with interest. Cheers... Gaztek
Found with my caching buddy Nissan 65. Great to be off work and out caching. Thanku for the cache
Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found straight away. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
Found with CastleKay and AwesomeJackAttack4 after a nice stroll through the park. TFTC!
A bit of a detour this arvo to grab this one. No time to enjoy the surroundings before jumping back in car and heading off to get geokids from school. TFTC
EN: Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Geocaching wouldn't be possible without the owners.
Logbook: lots of space
Find: ez no muggles

Geodad got to pick the afternoon’s activity for Father’s Day and chose to head out geocaching. Geoteen was reluctantly dragged along for some family bonding time.
Often well meaning catchers who add camo can make a find ridiculously obvious. A quick find from 20 paces. TFTC

Found it. Sons first find. Was a little disappointed no one left anything in there.
Our first cache! Couldn't believe that I have been to this park for years and there are "caches" to find. Thanks so much
Being out this way and needing a few finds for the current ground speak souvenirs we headed over. Rocked up for a quick find to discover the pen had run out so took a picture of the log instead. TFTC.
Lovely maintained gardens & animal enclosures. Enjoyed our short visit there. TFTC.
Located at 3:59pm. #709. 12 months unloved! This brings my accrued unloved years to just over 21 years I was passing by the area after work and couldn’t let this newly replaced cache go. Much obliged for the maintenance on this cache. The gardens were pretty much deserted and I quickly had CIH. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

Went to two other caches in the park then to this one. After taking into consideration the terrain and hint I still wasn't able to find the cache.

We could not find this cache container anywhere. We did find some of what had obviously been cache contents, which were scattered over the ground (see photo), but nothing else. We believe this cache needs some urgent maintenance, which had also been mentioned in previous logs. A check by the CO would be appreciated.
A short walk around the park. We never would be there before, it's pretty quite.
Quick find but no logbook and the lid is missing.

Nice Queens birthday long weekend, extra day of caching.
Had a great day locating these 3 caches, and interacting with the wild animals housed within.
The cache is still there, without a lid or log, time for maintence I suspect.

Out for a cache on beautiful queens bday long weekend. Great place to visit.
Found it but as the previous logs stated no lid and no log to sign.
Found this on the ground.
Found the cache but needs maintenance, the box was found near the sight and a few things from it on the ground nearby, couldn't see a lid anywhere
Thanks for the quick easy find. Went to do the whole walk but couldn't as i had geodog with me. Might run it quickly tomorrow mornong before i leave for the south coast. Tftc
After a day pounding the pavements it was nice to finish up with the caches in the beautiful park.

Out for a walk with geomum and Mr-geo-11-month-old. I loved this place as child. Geomum would bring us often and then as a teen, I came here for a couple of school excursions given that I went to Cerdon College just around the corner. It has changed since the last time I was here and I was saddened to hear that animals were being killed by people so new fencing had to be put up to fully lock up the enclosures.
This was the last cache on our path. My phone put me a few meters away but I eventually figured out where it was. The path to GZ was blocked by a spider I had never seen before. It was ginormous and it scared me almost to death! Took my time signing the log only to discover my feet were being eaten by the local population of ants. I knew I should've worn joggers and not thongs. TFTC!

Came to park to find two caches. Unfortunately muggles (park staff) were working right near GZ, so could not search for other one (The Bird Avery).
Moved on to this one and found quite quickly.
The cache was just large enough, so dropped off Holiday Bear. Hope someone else can help him on his travels. He has been resting with me for too long.

Third of three finds in the gardens and the longest walk from the car to a quiet corner of the park. Bit cautious of some nesting magpies, I initially walked straight past the very obvious hide but doubled back to accurate co-ords and quickly signed the log.
Lovely location, plenty of bird life. Quickly located . Duties done and back to work. TFTC
This was the easiest and quickest of the 3 caches in this park.
Its a good idea to have a picnic area in a park like this but I don't like this spot as much as the rest of the park. Its too noisy with all the traffic going by and they haven't camouflaged the toilet block very well.
Still I'm impressed with the rest of the park. Its well worth a visit.

Came down to Sydney from Newcastle to visit. We come to this nice little bit of nature in the big smoke. Quick find, becuase it was just lying in the open, so hid it neer the tree. TFTC

I'll go out of my way for a 2/2 and so I did today, on a rare trip to this corner of the world. Found signed and returned, but it's hard to cover from both sides. Thanks P&Q, must come back for a wander and look for your others.
Traipsed around for a bit confused at first... Then I read the past logs and thought "Hmm... Maybe it got taken by one of the gardeners?"... Then I spotted it in a spot I hadn't yet considered. TFTC! I liked the fledgling duckies in the nearby pond. I re-hid in the same position but slightly further so it was less obvious from the most common angle...
I've previously found caches in this park, but they are all history. We stopped today on the way to my mother's place. The WaywardWoman had previously found the other two caches in this park, but I hadn't, so there were three for me to find here.
We parked and walked to this one first, being the furthest away. There were gardeners in the area including one right next to this one. It was pretty obvious to see, so we explained what it was and asked for him to just leave it there. Hope he does. Thanks

#3908- We had to be in the area today, so on our way to pick up my mother-in-law, bikerbuddy and I decided to do a few quick caches. I have always loved this park- an urban oasis, full of wildlife of all kinds. The other two in Central Gardens were published a bit earlier and I had already done them.
This one took us to a part of the park I hadn't been to before and it is lovely.
Not quite sure how long this one will last given its bold location. We excused ourselves as we passed by the gardeners, grabbed and returned as found. Thanks P&Q
