Logs
Just found this one in my paperwork and I had forgot to log it.
It had just been archived and I just had to go check out whether it was still there.
The log was dry and cracked from being wet but still able to get a signature on it.
Once this area floods the cache will be washed out and covered with silt.
TFTC Thanks LILWEARNY1 All good with this archived cache

Luckily a fairly quick find for me as I was here very late in the day needing a find for the Mary Hyde adventure. I'd gone to a previously found one to drop off one trackable and pick up another but couldn't find it this time so I was a little desperate. 5 points done, still need to drop my trackable somewhere.
"The boys found it again" cache is in dire need of maintenance. The log is dry but very crispy. Container does not look close to being watertight. A little maintenance should be done to keep this guy alive.
We found it we beating it there is a fury friend and it rocks
It was to wet to leave messages

Unfortunately the log is soaked after the Debbie's visit and I didn't have a zip lock bag with me. The container is in a sad state and needs owner attention. TFTC.

Out with totalube today to find a few caches and for him to do a little maintenance on a couple of his own caches. Parking the car we found it funny to see a pen attached to a string wrapped around a wooden post here, and wondered if a previous cacher may have lost it. Continuing on to Gz we began our search.
This one actually took a little while to find, but eventually totalube spotted it, and we wondered how we didn't see it sooner. With the cache a bit worse for wear, totalube headed back to his car to grab a few things to give it some TLC. All cleaned up we replaced as found and headed on our way.
Thanks for the cache LILWEARNY1.

1MinnieMoo and I were on our way to do some maintenance (well maintenance on my caches, and finds for 1MinnieMoo ), and this was on the way.
From the name we had a good idea what to look for and sure enough it was!
It took a while, not sure why, as it was pretty easy to find.
The cache is in need of some TLC, it was full of water and the old logbook was waterlogged. Luckily as I was going to do some maintenance I managed to dry it out and threw out the moldy logbook.
Thanks

Coordinates were spot on for this cache in this nice park . Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy ..
Hot day. Three kids. Hell of a lot of rocks! Plus we weren't sure if coordinates were correct from clues. Gave up.
Well hidden
Did with JaffyG and Geodad and geo friend put in shell and replaced log

After a trip to the dump, I had some time to look around for caches and this one seemed closest.
I remember coming up here for the other nearby caches at different times, so it was a bit weird to be back once again.
Anyway, I was prepared for a long search but the coordinates were so good that I had the cache in hand almost immediately.
Oddly, the logbook was outside the cache nearby, so I signed it and tried to cram it all back in. I'd say a new plastic bag might be good but everything else seemed OK so TFTC.

Having found the nearby Timber, I wandered over here to look for this one. I checked the clue and walked along the top and then needed to venture down a little more to get the right angle to see the container on this one. Very tricky but you needed to be at the right level to spot it in the crevice. TFTC LILWEARNY1

Laying in bed, because i didn't finish work until 4am, some notifications came through.
This was the first one i checked and it was within a handy distance from home.
It was about 12.30 when i arrived at the general area. There was already someonr here. Dang it. There goes my FTF. No, no still in tact.
We searched where our gps/phone was saying to look.
Oh boy, do you have your co-ords wrong. By at least 20 metres.
By this time the neighbours were starting to suspect i was up to no good. I had an audience of 5 muggles watching from the safety of their fence line.
Well, i located the cache, how i missed it on my first scurry of this area i don't know.
I opened the cache to find some trinkets and a nice new logbook.
There are some names in there, but somehow i don't think they are cachers.

GPS had me in the middle of the grass. Soon Naturenelle turned up. Searched high and low in a wide area. Hint didn't match up with anything. Gave up after 20 minutes.
Even nature nelle's numbers didn't work for me I finally found it at S 27 22.479 and E 152 55.612, which is more than 30 metres from the posted co-ords. Log to follow.
This one took some effort to make a smiley I was the first to arrive at GZ, and shortly nature nelle joined me, but after 20 minutes of searching in all the wrong spots, I gave up. It is after all a D1.5/T1.5 cache. It really shouldn't have been that hard!
An hour or so later I had another look at the cache page, and saw nature nelle had found it, and she had added her co-ords, saying GZ was about 20 metres off [^] Better go back and have another go... I started off with her numbers, but even those didn't help! I swapped sides of the creek at least 4 times, searching every nook and cranny I could see, all the while getting more and more frustrated
I sat down for a break, and took a look at the Description, then had another go at deciphering the hint... okay, perhaps it means do that??? Time to get seriously systematic!!!! Another 10 minutes or so of turning over every rock within cooee, I finally got the smiley, and my GPS showed it was more than 30 metres from GZ. Hard won indeed!
I see now I am writing this log that the CO has updated the co-ords [^] and I would recommend upping the ratings a little. Perhaps a D2.5/T2 would be appropriate. TFTC, LILWEARNY1.
