Logs
#15153 14:15A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Each day a different area was selected and all logs were signed with I'M ZEBRA, comprising of the initials of each member of the group. Rauchy? I was reading 'raunchy'. I guess the mind wanders off every once in a while. The well camouflaged cache was found TFTC
Found on our way south for the long weekend. It took some time, but we soon had CIH. TFTC
Could be a nasty hide as its well camouflaged. Luckily we found it rather quickly, signed as imzebra
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Abi
After having breakfast in a nearby cafe bunadoorian and I came for a walk to find this cache. Thank you for the hint as we would still be looking. I finally found it. TFTC and for bringing us here Bonfire7.
A well concealed cache. Grub62 spotted this one after an extensive search of the area. After reading previous logs we came prepared with an extra logbook sheet. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
Back again to avenge our previous DNF with a Found it.What a tricky hide, so well camouflaged where it's hidden.Must admit that a sort of PAF did help a lot though, thanks.Log sheet just about full but did find an empty spot to put our mark. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this geocache Bonfire7
After extensive search and upsetting the birds I was able to locate bit sneaky to find . Thanks to previous finder for some intel . TFTC Bonfire7
Too good for me , searched for a while . Nice and quiet here today at lovely spot . Lots of rubbish around
In town getting new glasses ex the frames so an old pair on. New or old don't think it'd matter. Couple hours to wait. I've looked before but whether I recorded my efforts can't recall. Have waymarked the memorial, more my size. Thanks.
Down touring the coast with Tankengine, Youban, Joolay and Aquilus1. We wanted to get away for a bit of fun and didnt expect it to be so much in the sun we planned this trip. But 30 degrees at the beginning of September although nice, is a bit of a climate shock to the body. So hot! Aquilus1 to the rescue again! Tftc!!!
Bit tricky at night. Log is full
A weekend was planned for the coast to pick up some oldies and a county with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine and Youban. Perfect weather.
Thanks for getting me out and about Bonfire7

An after dinner find that had us chuckling. Took a little searching but soon spotted by torchlight!
Got it! Very well camod!
Retrieved the log and signed it - though my names a bit faded as the pen j used was running out of ink!

Found it took a while had to look at the hint a few times. Shame of all that rubbish in the bush. TFTC
#3432 This hide had DeadThief and I a little flummoxed! We gave the area a fair search and couldn’t spot it. So then a peek at the hint, which certainly helped but it was still another 5 minutes or so before DT caught a peak. Thanks Bonfire7 for another cache. You have kept us amused over our Chrissie break!
What better way to start the new year then with a geocache or two. Set out this morning to head home and couldn't resist the urge to collect a couple on my way. Stopped at this little park and had a look around before setting my sights on the cache.
Found GZ despite gps issues jumping all over the place. Had a bit of a search and was about to give up when I spotted something just hanging around. Had a good reach and collected the cache log, signed it and returned as found.
Prefect start to the year!

Geowife got an early Christmas present if a massage at a nearby beauty clinic and so I got an early treat if about 90 minutes to go caching in Nowra. Met some interesting locals and found most of the caches I looked for (and started yet another adventure lab).
Had to grab a couple of things in town (including coffee) so braved the Christmas crowds and found a park near this one. Cache first then shopping - glad this was a quiet spot as took far Longer than hoped. Lots of rubbish and eventually found amongst the greenery - sneaky hide.

I’ve stopped here before without success but the updated clue assisted with a find this morning. TFTC!

Gave up searching after I picked up a sharps container marked as chemical chemical waste, maybe this one needs repositioning
Too much rubish at GZ so we didn't try as hard as we could have.
Thanks for the hide Bonefire7, shame about the trash let at the location.

It’s a shame to see what was once an award winning garden fall into disrepair, but the cache hidden here was in good condition. tftc
After a dentist appointment next door we came over to the park to see if we could get a find. Unfortunately we looked high and low but couldn’t locate the cache. We hope to come back a visit again soon and get a smiley
After a few attempts and a hint from a previous finder, I finally spotted it! Don't know how I missed it. Lots of places to hide, but in the end it was exactly where I expected. Thanks for the cache!
Lucky for us and otherwise we will never find it so thank you to the comment and we found it.
Well eff me, I don't know I missed this last time, Got confirmation during lockdown this was 100% still here but didn't get a chance till today to come looking. If it was a spider it would have bitten me. Smh. A smiley well earned.

Spent 30 minutes looking.
Looked high not low but couldn’t find.
Good hide Bonfire
TFTC but you beat me this time!

Have tried this twice now. Still no luck. Pretty confident I was looking in the right spot but couldn't find it
Spent ages looking for this one. The previous logs helped alot. As others have said, dont look low. Tfrc
Tough one. Took the time to eat a box of hot salty chips and a few potato cakes to find it.
Wow!! That was a bit of a tough one. Thinking all the recent rain may not hv helped. Would not hv found it without reading through the history. First find for 2020!! TFTC
TFTC bonfire. Stick to the clues. Dont go low, too many broken bottes and syringes
Finally we can tick this one off. This is our third go at this one. Nice hide bonfire 7. TFTC.
TFTC, SL.
This one was tricky! Needed to read logs for more hints. Was just about to give up & get the grocery shopping done when it just popped into view!

We had just had a buffet meal at the RSL and needed to work it off. Walked up to here and made a surprisingly quick find. TFTC
OCW The Bebes after doing a GCNSW related errand. Our walk around downtown Nowra continued, kind of looking for lunch options, kinda of seeing how many caches we could fit in before our time ran out. We arrived at a plausible spot and made some cursory investigations only to find lots of rubbish (including a novel, not worth reading). Eventually we took our eye line a little higher which proved successful in spotting the cache. Thanks Bonfire7.

We headed down from the city to Bombaderry on an errand to collection some shirts.
After we’d finished the business part of our trip we decided to grab a few nearby caches.
A pretty park.
This one took a lot of circling before my phone settled in on a spot. I’d been so close minutes earlier but it blends in well !

Finally! I've lost count of how many times I've come here looking for this one (so at least 3 times...). At first there were people where I wanted to search so we went to another cache. Just as we were leaving some other cachers turned up. Back after finding a few others and the coast was clear, and I had extra help so was hoping for good luck today. Followed the gps to 1 metre from where x marked the spot and steeled myself for the search. Within 30 seconds I was looking at something out of the ordinary, BINGO. Found and signed. Happy days. Thanks Bonfire
This is tricky, but the Bomaderry Bandit kids r getting tired and grumpy so we will have to try this another time
Found this one with my son today after many attempts, this was well hidden and a good hide. We were searching low and should have been looking right in front of us the hole time
Wow, great hide. Took us 25 mins to find it after much looking. Always the way with us, overthinking things. Our GPS was about 3 metres out though. Getting better with each cache we find.

Great camo! Coordinates spot on. I am a twitcher and a little bird in the trees led me straight to it. My first ever geocache Hooked now!
Searched with sesblocker and Aries44duo who has previously found this cache.

Another search today without success. Someone was camping up in the far corner but didn't bother me.
After a couple of minutes we left because we found some alcohol and a box of mini shot glasses
I checked on this one today.
Cache all good and still in play.
The description and hint should get you there
Happy hunting!

From memory the pruning mentioned had been done prior to my visit. Seems odd that it's gone missing in the space of a couple of days, but these things can happen I suppose. It is a bit of a challenging find, especially in the dark. I hope it is still in place and just overlooked.
After a big dinner at the RSL we had to try and walk it off. So, we walked to here before walking back to our digs. We had a good search using torches but we came up negative. Thanks for the hide.
Found -- 5:55:00 PM -- Thanks for the hunt and Thanks for bringing us here to this location Bonfire7.

Nice quick find all things considered. Cache in good shape. Signed log and returned cache to its hide'y hole. Based on the cache name I was not sure what to expect coming here and was left wondering what the deal was with this cache. Tonight I found out. This was our last cache of the day before heading home - I was too intrigued to leave it go another goodness knows how long. Talk about being blessed in finding this one in the dark and I think it was all due to good coordinates - Thanks Bonfire. I was not sure what I was needing to see. Armed with our *Bat Torch* I soon caught sight of the cache.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet*. What a fun day we have had. Such a gorgeous day down in the Shoalhaven today, lovely and warm too. On an errand in Nowra today so the logical thing was to collect some caches too. Nothing overly noteworthy occurred on our adventures. Stopped by the river for a spot'o'lunch.

How does it go - something about can't see the forest for the trees? It was right in front of me (coords spot on) but needed to change the angle to spot it. Nice park. TFTC.
