I enjoyed this challenge! This cache is an O for the Can you spell November challenge. A dead spider freak d me out at the final till I realised it was deceased! TFTC
back for a visit with fastedoh i see it the poor dodgy knee is still ok for some climbstb visit
Out and about chasing some random multi caches for a challenge.Parked close to the final and set off. Soon spotted where I needed to be. I'm getting too old for these Another one off the map.TFTC
Out in the area. Parked as close as needed. Made way in. Saw a kangaroo in the distance. Made way to GZ. Retrieved log from cache. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks 1MinnieMoo. All good with this cache and multi.
Dang!!!! Down creek banks, up trees, up Creek banks, across creeks. Our 2nd last cache today so was slightly tired a cute little container to say hi to TFTC.
A long time ago i started this multi and for some reason did not finish. So long ago i cant remember why i did'nt get to the final but it has been on my to do list since then. Today i was in the area but wearing sandals and a dress i thought it was probably a bit silly seeing the terrain rating. I thought i would just have a look and see. Amazingly i managed to make it to the final which was all i had to do today and i climbed the tree with bare feet and then could not see how to get to the log book. I climbed back down to get my glasses and up again and i see. This was a fun multi and i loved the final guardian . Giving it a FP for all the fun
From the same carpark as the previous multi.
Older - never wiser was playing in my head as I made my way to the final container here.
An enjoyable walk in the shade
Thank you for hiding and maintaining

1MinnieMoo I found your cache Older and Wiser on 24/4/2023, 4:10 pm. This is my find 5106 and find # 10 today. What a great adventure multi. Found a way to the creek then found a way to cross without much difficulty. Arrived at WP1 and after a brief look around found the container with the coordinates for the next WP. Arrived at WP2 and thought no I don’t have to cross the creek. Once the GPSR settled I found the container with the coordinates on this side of the creek. On to the final and this time another creek crossing. Found a way to cross and soon was at GZ. A quick and easy find and a not too difficult tree climb. Got the container opened and soon had my name in the log sheet. Back tracked to the creek crossing and I was soon back to the car. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Bluey was getting serviced in Albion today, so I was out in a loan car killing time till she was ready. I have pedaled by this one many times. Not a bike friendly one. Today was the perfect opportunity to hunt in the jungle.
All WPs found with a short search. All good here you old thing

Keeping me on the streets and chasing particular caches is all I seem to be doing lately, just grabbing the single caches here and there. The fun of caching and the rewards of adding to particular challenges. Then there is a couple of personal challenges that I have set for myself. This one started out as a grid filler but turned out to be a lot more.
I parked up and wondered around to the first waypoint. I spent too much time looking for this one, turns out I was standing right under it from my first arrival. Onto the next waypoint and same again, searching and searching, only a little less time as I had an idea as to what I may be looking for now, lol I’m getting wiser. Then onto the next waypoint, over another creek and through more jungle I finally reached GZ. Looking around and seeing as though I still had one attribute still left, I looked for evidence. My finals and gps put me in the open area. Looking and looking I thought maybe that looks promising, sure enough I spotted the container and I laughed.
I had a lot of fun here and for just a “grid filler” it gets a favourite point from me. OH and happy 40th, was it this year?
I signed the log and returned all as found, thanks again it was nice to do.

my first multicache! what a great one to find. Prepare to go off road and cross the creek
Really enjoyed this little adventure! Figuring out the best ways across the creek. Feet remained dry.
All the waypoints and cache contents are good and dry. Can confirm All in place after floods too.
Found with Ali on a quick Saturday adventure. TFTC.

Finally got around to doing the final of this one but wasn’t sure we would be able to get to it with dry feet but we managed somehow. Cache safe and dry. TFTC
We have been slowly collecting the way points over the last couple of weeks for this one, getting both older and wiser as we went. We thought the recent flooding may have caused problems but the waypoints were all accessible and in good condition. Today was the day to make our assault on the final. It had been raining the last couple of days so we had to carefully pick our way through the grass to GZ to avoid the boggy patches. Once we had zeroed in to GZ we soon spotted the cache guardian safe and happy and unaffected by the recent floods. Thanks for the adventure 1MinnieMoo
A good day for caching with E_Smiley and Domsky. Going through backlogs now and I was distracted with other holidays.

What better way to celebrate a special birthday then to create a hide. Thank you for doing that 1MinnieMoo!
It is clear from this multi, that you still have your Geocaching Mojo and spirit.
The adventure was fun. The grass and trees were green and thick around our feet. The creek was running well and we had a couple of exciting crossings., one with E Smiley slipping down the muddy bank. Fortunately however no wet feet.
We passed a large Goanna, and then made our way to GZ where Mrs Domsky did the climbing honours.
Definitely wiser for this one!
Thanks 1MinnieMoo

Thanks for the cache and taking us here 1MinnieMoo. Happy 46th birthday this year! That was fun!
Didn't see any of the animals listed in the description. At one stage I thought a king parrot was perched on a branch but on closer look it was a bush turkey. Going to wp2, a giant goanna prevented us from crossing the creek! Lucky, there were lots of options. We chose a lower 'bridge' only to realise the bank was slippery, happy to be saved by the roots from getting wet while taking a short cut on the way to the final.
A favourite point for the adventure!

After work today grabbed me (again) & we shot out to grab this little multi . Walking through the wilds of Bridgeman Downs I was disappointed not to spy any real wildlife as we did in Titchi Tamba. We only have a Hoot at the GZ when we spotted a …………

Muggle65 and I were fully prepared for this one. We wore our kayaking boots (read old hiking boots with lots of drainage holes) Somehow we managed to keep our feet totally dry. Fun cache and great container. Thank you so much
Had a moment to check on this one today and indeed WP2 was missing. Has now been replaced so all good to find once more.
Out with geofriends (Snickersallan, RoddyC, hatzofff, GS1947 and Imbunda) again today to finish off finding the Drumbeat Series as well as other caches along the way.
What a multi!!! Not sure if this was going to end... Had to PAF for some help as we couldn't find the WP. At the final, GS1947 did the honours but was an effort to get the cache.
SL then returned as found. Now to find the car.

Picking up a few smiles continuing in the area for some Drum Beat caches. Out with RoddyC Patrol14 snickersallan GS1947 imbunda (SPRIGH Team). Lovely walk out and about.
Not sure if we approached this from the wrong way but Terrain was very rough. Wp2 was missing so we needed to PAF as by now we had spent far too long in here. Now find the track back over the creek to find the final. Yes, we can do it.

Final day working at finding the Drumbeat and associated caches.
A tough one! Didn't like the terrain. Couldn't find WP2, so had to resort to a PAF which helped. We were not quite sure how to rankle GZ. Eventually GS1947 won out and found the wize prize!

Third trip up to finish the beaut Drum geoart series, find solved puzzles and a few traditionals with geo friends patrol14, Imbunda, hatzofff, grannysmith1947 & RoddyC. Enjoyed venturing into so many different suburbs today, some for the very first time.
Wow this multi took way longer than expected and then a PAF was needed as a last resort. We certainly had a good workout doing this and the older wiser grannysmith1947 volunteered to do the cache retrieval which proved harder than expected but her perseverance paid off in the long run, thanks CO for this multi.

Made an attempt at approaching WP1 but as I was unsure of what I needed to find to locate WP2 I soon gave up.
I first attempted this in January when I stepped off a log at WP1 and badly sprained my ankle. That put me out of action for a month or so and gave me some anxiety about coming back to complete this. I made sure to avoid standing on any logs though and managed to escape unscathed. Thanks for the cache
The human body is up to 60% water. So what's a little more on the outside?
I found 2-3 snakes on my attempt in 2017 and today was happy to find none! Chose a low route over the stream this time and was pretty please with my tightroping. Wandered around until I found a wallaby and a WP and went back via another method... a slight wetting occurred. Then off to number two! Just wet foliage here. And to the final! Hmmm. Well.. Might just sacrifice a shoe here...
Loved to final cache and let a big ol' spider out of the outer container. Gave a shrug and plunged in with two feet on the way back... but slipped and plunged in another time on the way out just after waving at a muggle who had spotted me. Oh well, not a problem They'd left by the time I got back to the path.
Really enjoyed this today ,1MM. Thanks very much!

After various spurts of rain, the creek had turned into a river. If I had any sense of business, logistics, real-world science, engineering, physics or common sense I would have built a hydro power-plant at the posted coordinates. I’m more into holistic-science at the moment so probably would have built a hydro spiritual-plant instead. The water would turn a wheel that powers your patience, wellness and ability to see the benefit of avoiding inoculations whilst improving your aura and aligning your chakras to the melody of the universe. I have to stop drinking and logging.
After finding the first waypoint we looked at where we had to go and clearly mistook the cache name. Our choice was to either trust a fallen log and hope our balance was true or drive 15 minutes around to the other side of the raging river. If we fell off the log the rapids would have ensured we ended up in South America for our first visit.
Maybe we should have driven because we spent more than 15 minutes looking at the water weighing up the pros and cons of dying. The only pro up my sleeve was that I no longer had to worry about the iron I had left on at home.
We kept walking along and found a spot where only one or two limbs were at risk. We were across but after reading some logs knew we had to eventually cross back. The water was raging and I should have built a hydro power... sorry it’s hard to stop repeating yourself after a few wines.
There was no easy way to cross back but we found a small spot where we could tight-rope it back but for a short distance. Falling on a tight-rope is no different to wearing a K-Mart G-String and we were already committed so went for it.
Finally we were at the cache and next to the roar of the raging river, we stamped the log. Can I wedge in one last hydro power-plant mention? tftc

Another green space, another multi, another walk for Brislions and I. We found a spot to park the geomobile and set off to the first waypoint. That way?? Ok. Bush bashing, we were soon at the waypoiint. There, we quickly spotted what we were looking for and were soon headed off to the next waypoint. Hmmm!! I don't think that way will work for me. A bit of a stroll and another way was found. I didn't even get wet feet! Next waypoint was quickly located and we set off again. A good spot was found to cross and no wet feet again! At the final, the outer container was quickly spotted. Brisblions again did the honours and added our names to the logbook. I really enjoyed this little adventure. TFTC
After a paddle on Friday I knew that I would be sore. So a walk it will have to be. On Friday Selva Girls said she had some multi’s around her home she would like to do. I was looking at the DTT challenge and saw that I needed a few multi. And what was funny a couple of these multi’s were mentioned in the other talk. Sent my list to Selva Girls, she selected the ones to do.
After the last multi we hope this one will be quicker.
Lucky for us it was found waypoint 1 and 2 got the information from both. So of to GZ found the cache all good.
I had a time limit today had to do family stuff.
So two multi for today. But good DT’s
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. 1MinnieMoo TFTC *493* streak. *2950* Finds

This one had Geopup a little puzzled, we walk along these cycle tracks most days, she couldn't understand why I wanted to keep leaving them
We found WP1 quite easily, and made our way to WP2. Silly me thought this was the final, and was expecting to find the great camo I had read so much about. I must have looked at WP2 several times but didn't see it as it wasn't what I was looking for. After reading a few logs again, I realised my error and then found what I was looking for.
We then made our way to the final, I must have crossed over the creek 4 or 5 times. My GPS didn't like the cloud cover and had me everywhere! Would have been funny to see played back! But we got there in the end, and found the great camo. My second foray up a tree, I'm quite enjoying the challenge.
Thanks 1MinnieMoo for the fun cache so close to home.

Found with the geokid earlier this morning.
What a lovely piece of bushland! We saw wallabies, kookaburras, huge lizards, and a random assortment of other birds. At one point there was 4 kookaburras sitting on an old gum tree, laughing their heads off. It was loud and amazing.
Found the WPs fairly easily, and unfortunately the creek was dry and just took a hop to get over. The area could really do with some rain.
The cache container was what I expected and I did leave a little older and wiser than when I came in. Thanks for taking us to this lovely piece of bushland.
TFTC and popping in a FP too!

Went out early to get this one. Was in the area a few weeks back but ran out of time, so back today. Not very much water in the creek so easy to get over. Found our friend and signed log. Looked up to see very large Frilly watching me. TFTC
Out today with Bristracker picking up a few caches. Very cool cache. A bit of bush bashing and creek hoping to get to GZ. We looked around for a while, and I spotted a likely looking tree and yes there was the cache!!! Bristracker climbed the tree while I did the log signing. TFTC
The initial work, the heavy lifting, was done by Zacgyver, leaving me to do the "higher" work. Leaping across the fast-flowing stream was all in a day's work for this intrepid pair. Zacgyver had surmised that we were looking for something out of the ordinary and that was correct. Once I was in position for retrieval I then had to reach for an "opening" but after jiggling it around and up and down the wily beast revealed its treasure- the cache log. Very proud of my achievement here Miss Moo, and very impressed with your work!
The trail was much loved by the geokiddies today as there was plenty of water and mud to frolic in. This became our afternoon highlight and we even found that little pearl of wisdom. TFTC
This one reminds me of a certain cache on the sunshine coast. Considered myself older and wiser than to take the short path at wp1. Took me a minute to work out how to access the container at GZ but got there in the end. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. Definitely favourite point worthy. TFTC
Out for the day with nikid1. I had some appointments this morning so with a shortened caching day we headed to these 2 close multi's. After working out an entry that didn't require too much bush bashing we arrived at WP1 & proceeded to walk around in circles for awhile before spotting what we were after in a place we'd passed numerous times already! With that info in hand & not trusting my balancing abilities we chose a different route than that suggested to WP2. Once there the information required was quickly spotted & grabbed & it's onto the final. Nic is the climber in our caching duo (sometimes reluctantly perhaps...) but this one presented her with no problems & she soon had the log signed & we headed on a much shorter bush bash back to the path.
Thanks for the fun multi 1MinnieMoo

Headed out here with KerriMG and had a lovely walk through the bush to the various WPs. No birds were spotted but we did see several pretty butterflies. KerriMG spied all the information required so that left me with the task of going up. Thanks 1MinnieMoo for thinking of us with short arms in the placing of this cache.
Doing this one today was a fun time. I parked up where I thought it was a good entry in and turns out it was. Once at the first WP my search began. I didn't see anything straight away in any obvious places so I expanded my search to where I thought I would hide something in this type of area. Pretty soon I saw what I needed and had the next WP numbers. There was an interesting route I could have taken across the creek but as I was contemplating it I saw a wallaby cross over a little further upstream. I could see he didn’t get wet so I ventured on and crossed where he did.
I was then back in search mode for the next WP. It didn’t take long before the container presented itself and I had a WP to the final. GZ was easy to get to and I was soon at the spot. Again it didn’t take long before I saw the cache. The log book was retrieved and our names added to the list.
It was a ‘hoot’ finding the cache so I’m giving it a favourite point hoping this encourages others to have a go as well.

I was looking on the map for a nearby multi to grab - and noticed this one of 1MinnieMoo's I hadn't seen before.
Indeed, here's to us being wise - some later than others...
I parked up at what I thought was a good approach to this one and made my way into the nice area. The route I picked was a bit long - but I was soon pulling up at GZ. I looked around and around and around....
I checked the cache page and noticed the terrain rating. Oh noes! I quickly checked the attributes. Oh noes again! It dawned on me that there's a very real likelihood I won't be able to finish this multi
Nevertheless, I decided to continue on.. and soon after I finally noticed what I was after. I recorded the WP and looked on the map. I examined the options to get to the next WP. I may not have gone the way the cache owner wanted me to - but I did get there
The next waypoint took me longer to find - but I spotted the prize and managed to collect the final co-ordinates. Now off to the final...
I made my way - without incident - to GZ. Why has this stupid smartphone put me in the middle of nowhere? It finally adjusted and then it dawned on me where it was going to be - as I could see telltale signs. One thing led to another and I spotted the well-themed prize.... hmmmm.
Well.. as they say "YOLO". Happy to report I managed to get to GZ and sign the log. I was hanging on for grim death (hence my shaky handwriting in the logbook)
I headed on back to the car - very chuffed with myself. The cache and waypoints are in good condition. A very beautiful location and great final. TFTC 1MinnieMoo - I really enjoyed this one

Sunday. I picked this cache out for a couple of reasons and I wasn’t disappointed! What a great cache After dragging Mr SP out for a second day in a row, we hit this cache first up. Our area is becoming bereft of multis for us so we are hitting out a little bit further afield, needing only a handful more caches to ultimately complete a challenge cache. After arriving at WP1, we came to a likely looking spot, but nothing turned up for us. After looking around the nearby area, I looked up and called out “there it is!” Yay, information jotted down and we headed off to the second WP. This next WP eluded us for a while and we resorted to making a PAF. With a hint of where we should be looking, just as the hint was spoken, no sooner did Mr SP call out that he spotted the little blighter! Well done Mr SP! He’s having a cracker of a day. More info jotted down and we headed off to the final. There seems to be a bit of a geotrail in this area, but nonetheless, the WPs need a keen eye to spot the containers. Arriving at GZ, I put my phone down as the arrow was bouncing around anyway, and looked up. Ah! There you are!! What a great container Loved the bit of walk here and the area, we even spotted a couple of small kangaroos and what would have to be the largest ever scrub turkey mound we’ve ever seen! Funny though that on the way back we must have detoured a bit and totally missed the nest. We even had a breeze with us all the way!

Thanks ***1MinnieMoo***, for showing us this place.

Back in February I was already older but apparently not wiser as I had tried to seek this cache just after some rain. Well those of you who have visited this location will quickly see some issues with my approach.
With a few months to consider things a little more today provided the chance to seek this cache again. Now this was certainly a lot wiser. First I picked the right approach and secondly it was much drier under foot. Now being drier is important, some my say wiser.
Now after finding WP 1 once more i had to consider which would be the wiser option. 1 -straighter across or 2 - just go across. Well I'm older but also a MTB rider. Now if you know anything about riding MTBs you know speed ( going fast not the other stuff) is your friend. Well what do you know it works in other situations as well. Seems I'm getting wiser.
WP 2 oh dear where will this be, OK there it is. Still getting wiser.
Now the final, I see, yes there you are now what is the best way out. No fancy dancing required.
Life is what you make it, nothing is impossible to the willing mind and the truly rich are those who enjoy what they have.

Well it seems I was on the wrong side for WP 1 and most likely the right side for WP 2. While I'm certainly older for today at least I'm not wiser.
Like others managed to see a few wallabies, scrub turkeys and a goanna. While i didn't see them no doubt a few snakes were watching on as well.
Think I managed 3 loops of GZ on the bike as well. On the wrong side abused by muggles for riding my bike on the track, on the right side dogs and muggles present in yard at entry point A. Muggles present at entry point B.
Seems today was not a wise day to try this cache.

I saw this cache had become unloved, so decided to go for a wander this afternoon to grab it. Took quite a while for me to spot the first waypoint even though I had inferred where a safe place to put it would be. Quick cross of the creek to the second way point and on to the final. My phone was not happy in the region of the final, but I eventually limited possibilities based on the attribute and made the find. A great container - looked very familiar, but that is because there is something similar on the south side. TFTC 1MinnieMoo.
Needing to get out and take the dog for a walk I ventured over here. I parked in the side street and worked my way along the path and soon ventured into the forest. I could see the exact spot from the scene of the DD and I did a little twirl around to recreate the dance! Albeit, twirling around different points the GPS had me checking. Patience is what was needed and stop and let the GPS collect itself. It was still pointing over there and purely by chance I looked up and saw the container. Noted the number and moved onto the next WP. A balancing act across I went but poor Charlie Dog was waiting for me - he could not get across and was so patient and watched from afar as I scoped the area. Some pink ties and a shoelace, and a good cacher spot checked... this one again took some time and patience and reading logs to think what I could be looking for. My height did not see the tether at first and then I was able get up enough to see the next clue. Back to the other side and Charlie Dog was very pleased to be at my side again. Along I went, and to the GZ, a bit of hopping and we were right at the GZ and I saw the cute container. A bit of a step up, balance and wedge in my knee to support and I soon had it open. A lovely little trip in the woods this was too. TFTC 1MinnieMoo
Found with EngPhil and MissGeosie - after a couple of attempts. I think EngPhil described the adventure pretty well!
TFTC, we had (multiple goes at) fun claiming this one

Find #2009 at 18:25 with Palopinto and MissGeosie.
Well, this one was a saga.
Just over a week ago, Palopinto and I found ourselves kidless for an evening, and unable to undertake our planned activity due to injury. So we decided to attempt this cache instead.
We made it to WP1 (after a dubious choice of parking location, but at least it presented the opportunity to see a whole mob of wallabies on our walk!) and eventually Palopinto spotted the container (after I read out the hint.)
We then performed some manoeuvres that may not qualify as "wiser" to get to the next WP [:o)] but we both made it there unscathed.
We then spent a few minutes here but came up empty-handed, and reluctantly called off the search as our time was up and we had to go get the kids.
A couple of days later... and it was *my* turn to be a year older (albeit still no wiser) -- so with the whole family this time we trekked into WP2. At least the terrain this way was easy.
We wandered and climbed up and over and all around and came up with nothing in the rapidly fading light. Eventually I admitted defeat and called the CO (who was of course at an event, adding to my shame [:o)]) (but hey, at least I got a "happy birthday" from the attendees [:o)])
She put us onto a spot that I'm sure at least two of us had checked and somehow missed. Oh how embarrassment. Thanks sis, we'll be on our way now. Enjoy your event, everyone... [:o)]
We looked at the terrain between us and GZ and groaned. In the dark, with the kids.... we decided once again to retreat and return another day. [:(!]
Fast forward a few more days, and BopsyGirl (who isn't too keen on high terrain caches) was at a sleepover, leaving the three more adventurous members of the family an opportunity to finally claim this one.
We parked at a now all-too-familiar spot and headed in. An approach was quickly identified and we all made it easily to GZ. We all spotted the wonderful little container and I made the grab.
After signing the log, MissGeosie had a valiant effort at reaching the cache, but couldn't. Palopinto then did, just to say she had, and MissGeosie tried once more. Her little arms and legs just aren't long enough yet. Maybe when she's a bit older and wiser....
We then headed back out and to the car. Mission accomplished at last!
Thanks for the cache, 1MinnieMoo. You may be older and wiser; I think I'm just older. [:o)]

Well, as we neared the first spot, cries of 'Snake!' filled the air. We watched as he slithered away from us. Not to worry, it'd probably actually over here... oh... another snake. Well that's fine because I just need to look in and under here... oh... rustling at GZ hey?
We abandoned GZ and the 3+ snakes it contained. Maybe we'll be back in cooler weather!

Out with seffnjarah and CrookedPete today for a Northside feast. As always lots of laughs, outrageous boasts, pathetic rivalry (that I always won) and a heap of fun.
While I didnt 'dance' like you may have wanted me to, I did manage to cross. We enjoyed the challenges, and did pretty well....especially considering one of us was on the phone the entire cache! How rude SNJ!!!
Thanks to the CO for placing this cache.

It was a full complement of the Bromance in urban caching mode this afternoon after I invited myself along to Swellerfungus and Crookedpete's afternoon sojourn around the Northern suburbs. Can't say I was very much help at this cache. I received a work related phone call just as we arrived at the first WP and this lasted until just after the cache was found and signed, although I did manage to navigate my way over creek crossings and other hazards at the same time. TFTC
For a rare Northside gathering for the Bromance this afternoon, I had planned on grabbing some higher DT puzzles. But as usual, my mates had other ideas and we tackled some traditionals and multis.
Swellerfungus and I steadily worked our way through this multi, finding the clues for next waypoint and navigating our way to GZ. Seffnjarah was clearly just along to make up numbers - walking behind us, yakking away on the phone to his hairdresser, about how much blonde would be needed to wash away the grey (or some other such nonsense). Anyway, we did it all without the slightest bit of help from him!
Many thanks 1MinnieMoo

Took awhile at waypoint one as we weren't sure what we were looking for but we quickly located the finds at waypoint 2 and GZ. Was a great find overall TFTC!!
Feeling like a bit of exercise to start burning off the Christmas feasts, I found myself heading North to this one. I wiggled my way close and then figured a creek crossing was inevitable. I picked a log which wasn't the most stable but I got over without disaster.
I thought you may have been kidding about wallabies, but there were several in here that went bounding away as I fooled around.
I went here and there for WP1 but should have trusted the coords which took me right there in the end.
Another safer crossing and the WP2 area looked good but kept me at bay until I read a couple of past logs... some fun was then had!
Yet another crossing led to a straightforward climb but a bit of fooling around occurred with the cache until I worked out what to do. All good inside so a FP from me for a short but challenging multi in an interesting area.

Thursday fun day with BB - hoping that today is the day for BB to finish her 1.9 challenge
Our first one for the day and BB's navigation skills have brought us to the perfect place to get to GZ. Even though we've had some rain we found an easy spot to cross the creek, so no wet feet (or clothes) today. BB's caching eyes spied the first waypoint straight away and we had a chuckle at WP2 (no spoilers here ). We took a small leap of faith to get to the final...whoa...think this one's for you Barb . Fearless BB soon had the cache in hand and we signed the log with relief. TFTC 1MinnieMoo, I enjoyed the cache and the adventure, fave point for you

Picked up a few MinnieMoo caches nearby and had this multi to collect to finish todays adventure. Knew this area had limited parking available, found a spot close to Beckett Rd and walked in.
In the park found the path branching then decided to head east to later avoid a creek crossing. With the path rapidly running out, went bush bashing and managed to see a few wallabies, scrub turkeys and other smaller critters that moved through the vegetation but were unsighted.
WP1 when I had the right elevation was straightforward. Just as I was signing the log, something came raining out of the tree above. Looked up and saw a scrub turkey, possibly with a smile on its beak. Luckily it's aim was slightly off!!
Tried to avoid a major creek crossing walked upstream where the banks were becoming higher. Ventured back to WP1 to cross the creek. This was the first of three crossing!!!!
At WP2 sighted the tether quickly. It really was a stroke of luck to get WP2 as it could be in any number of spots. Onward to the final location where another cute container was found. Log signed and a creek crossed to get on the path nack to transport home.
Thanks for setting up this cache 1MinnieMoo for your milestone!!

Last day of my extended holidays. What to do? How about a Multi me thinks - reckon first few weeks back at work after a long break I won't have time to spend on such beasties. How about this one then? I hit the GO! button on the car GPSr and headed over to a likely parking spot. Well, I left it a bit late in the day to get out and at it, but it was still light when I headed in to take a look-see.
OK, WP1 pretty straightforward ... oh[B)] I see what's in store for me. Great idea coming out after rain![xx(] No worries, I'm game. Off I scrambled to WP2. Yep - as expected - no worries I can do this. Cool, GZ. I can do this. Actually that took me longer than both WPs together - but I got there. Log signed.
Exiting was OK, just longer.
Thanks for placing this cache, 1MinnieMoo. Found in good condition.

Thanks to the CO for walking with me to this cache It was my last missing unique DT I needed for today. We had been on a mighty mission and this one finished the challenge for me. 1MinnieMoo may be older and wiser, but she certainly is still spirited and full of adventure. It is always a fun day while in her good company.
Thanks for the cache and HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY again 1MinnieMoo

Lovely location and fun multi! Up, down, over and under and over again , obviously you have some CO wisdom for me older and a little wiser perhaps a little but I still do dumb things too!! Next year maybe. ... TFTC.
Well you can definitely do ths one the hard way,or the easy way, some days are diamonds! TFTC
Nurseyjulie asked for some company to tackle some tree climbs, and we were able to set aside an hour or so together this morning After making them all smileys, Nj had to return home to her studies, but I wasn't quite done, so a check on caches "close to home" showed up this one. Ooh, that looks like fun! I missed the CO's celebrations for her big 4-0, but this should make up for that!
My choice for parking put me on the wrong side of the creek, but there's a handy-dandy big log near to WP1 and after a not too wobbly walk across, I reached the right spot. GPS gave me a headache here, and it took me quite a few minutes to spot this container! Talk about going round and round in circles! Numbers noted and onwards... More circles here before spotting the next container This one is not as secure as the first. More numbers noted. Ahh, this could be tricky. I went out and around trying to find a good way across, but had no success. My attempt here got my boots, socks and trouser legs soaked Bleah! GZ wasn't hard to find, and I was soon in reach of the container. Just a bit fiddly to balance and open it, but persistence paid off, and my name was in the logbook. And of course I found a simpler way back across the wet stuff, didn't I?!?!?! I'm pleased to make this one a smiley. TFTC, 1MinnieMoo. Hope the celebrations were amazing!

A morning out was planned to round up a few smilies on the Northside that have been on my to-do list for a while. After seeing this one published yesterday, I added it to my to-do list along with a couple of others from the same CO. Older and wiser huh, they say 40 is the new 30 , and you're only as old as you feel!
I parked in a nearby street named after a certain movie star who likes hanging off the front of ships, then made my way down toward the creek. Yes the CO does like her creeks, I remember a certain ducky that swam away in a flood .
The waypoints took a bit of searching and gave me a little grief, despite superb coords. VikoCZ did well to find them all at night . I guess its a kind of payback for a recent cache of mine that had the CO searching for a while .
The final was spotted quickly, and after maneuvering myself into position, the container was retrieved and the log signed.
Worthy of an FP for the adventure, thanks for allowing me to keep my feet dry . This multi completes a mini milestone of our 100th found multi!
