Gene I have finally found that pesky little micro that you have been hiding, it has taken me around 5 attempts at searching every single panel of your structure and today I walked away defeated again, but for some reason I turned around and tried ONE more spot and blam I found the cache, definitely not at this end
Now staying in Brighton for a few days we headed out with a very large list of caches to be attempted but for varying reasons we left later than planned. Alas we are a bit out of practice with urban caching and these took us far longer than anticipated so we only got about halfway through the list. Means we have a list ready for another day. [:o)] Its pretty challenging trying to do stages of AdLabs whilst also doing the normal caches.
Log was full so we replaced it.

A nano. A worry, but actually an easy find. TFTC. Gene is great. Log full, so did not sign. Took photo instead.
Great hide! Couldn’t sign unfortunately as the log needs replacing. Thanks for the cache!
We were lucky and spotted it pretty quick, what a cool spot and Gene looks great! Cheers Cobber.
Someone climbed up the statue and put it near the mouth. We got it back and put it in a more accessible location for others to find
Loved this little hide
Thank you for showing us this
Interesting that it was made in Middleton we came from Victor Harbor right next to it! But also used to live near this giraffe, full circle I guess TFTF

I'm not going to be the only blue for this cache. Let's just call this 1st visit a practice run!
Gene had a road cone on his head like a party hat when we came by. Not sure how someone managed that! The cache was found fairly easily, though it's missing its lid so could do with some TLC. Thanks CrackedChelle
Giraffe must have eaten the nano!

Thanks CrackedChelle for bringing me to this cool location

One of the smallest caches I have found. A relatively easy find as there’s not many places this could be.
Mr three was very proud to have spotted this cute lil cache himself! Loved the hide, so cute and tiny yet still kid friendly
I am disabling this cache in light of government recommendations with regards to the COVID-19 virus. From a post by Tchingal:
'Prime Minister Morrison -
"Stay home unless it is absolutely necessary you go out"
All Australian have been told to STAY AT HOME UNLESS IT'S ESSENTIAL TO GO OUT as the Prime minister announced a new batch of extreme lockdown measures..
(Front Page Advertiser AdelaideSA 25mar20)) for more information.'
I work with high risk disabled and aged people in the community, and due to a health condition I am a high risk candidate myself. I cannot be maintaining caches until this is all over. Furthermore, I want you to all stay safe and STAY HOME as instructed, because I love the geocaching community and do not wish to lose any of you. Please be thoughtful. Come back later

Well did it expect to such thing here, I hate nanos but lucky this was a quick find
Today I decided to do a little bit of caching around Brighton way after an event this morning. A great day out with 35finds in total.

Ridden past a few times and today it was relatively quiet so I stopped.
I asked my daughter where would she hide a cache on a giraffe and she pointed to a certain area. Sure enough there it was. found in about 5 seconds in the second place I looked. Yes its a nano, but I don't think anything else would be appropriate. Thanks for the cache and Gene is certainly worthy of having a cache placed on his .....

A quick find this morning to turn a blue frown to a yellow smile. First cache of 2020! Happy New Year TFTC
Thanks erine14 for letting me know... yep, this one is definitely missing again... back online ASAP... stay tuned.
Out and about with sir_spectre, on my way to a city doctors appointment. This area had a few caches I hadn't found so a great location for lunch and a stroll and of course a few cache finds. Great spot.
Thanks to CrackedChelle from mogni

Luckily started the search for this tiny one at the right end. Therefor immediately found. TFTC
Love this sculpture. Geopartner knew exactly where it would be and quickly had it in hand. Took longer to roll the log up after signing. Thanx
We found it!
It was our 2nd time look for this little thing, the comments saying how tiny it was helped us.
Smallest cache we’ve ever seen!

Thanks cracked chelle. This statue is great, thanks for bringing me here. Very winter this evening
Not nice nano in the cold wintery wind! But we persisted and found it in the last place we looked. Quick sign and back in the car. Lovely giraffe. Tftc CrackedChelle
Ooh! First to sign shiny new logbook! Had no idea this guy was here, how awesome.
Found while over the other side of town looking for my usual traditionals.
After thinking about it for a bit, was a quick find. But getting the little sucker out took a lot longer. Hope I left it placed so that the next finder will not have the same problem.

Cache #2147. Last find today.
Today I had a conference to attend in Morphettville. After the conference, I found some caches nearby. Tried 4 and found 3.
Parked on the carpark, and walked to the GZ. Interesting.
Had a quick check, cannot see the cache. Checked the cache description and previous log, then find the cache straight away. Nice hide!
Log sheet is full. Managed to find a tiny space to sign, but the log sheet do need replacement.
Thanks for the cache, CrackedChelle.

We cringed when we saw Gene - so many places to hide a very small magnetic cache. Rather than start a systemmatic search from one end, we walked around Gene until we saw a couple of spots which were different to others. We were fortunate the locate this pesky cache in the second place we looked. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks CrackedChelle for the cache on an interesting addition to the local scene.
Visiting Adelaide once again and a caching catch up with Brisal5 and Firesafe. A cute giraffe is gene. I had started one end and Brisal5 the other. Nicely placed and hidden but easily retrieved. TFTC
Nurseyjulie was in town once again for the motor sport event over the weekend. Once again she had a plane to catch later in the day but a whole day to go and find a few more hidden boxes. So off we went and made our way to the beach for a go at the Kids Trail. It's for kids, surely experienced geocachers should be able to find them. Yeah Right. [B)] Of the seven left we could only manage four and three DNF's. Firesafe had joined us so we headed to Hallett cove for a walk and hopefully better success! [8)] After mixed success there he left us and we cached our way to the airport and at last a DNF free run of finds. [:o)]
I found this little spawn of Satan.... but anyone passing by might have been thinking I was getting a bit too close and personal to Gene due to the cache location. And of course there also is the matter of the rant.
Consider yourself ranted.
**Thanks CrackedChelle for this cache. **
