Staying in the beautiful morialta barns up the road. Had lunch at the pub and now to walk back in this cold July Sunday. Kayche24 found it with squib esquire. Tftc
TftCAfter a yummy lunch at the Scenic HotelWith Squib Esquire and Clive Staples! .
A nice sunny day so perfect weather to be out and about in the Adelaide Hills and of course picking up some geocaches along the way. Found without problems after consulting the hint. Thank you LoftyReasons, for placing NSPS - Playford for the geocaching community.# # #15104 # #
Took a while to find, long enough to need sustenance which I had at the establishment across the road. Thanks LoftyReasons.
TFTC! Cheeky post lunch find. Unfortunately very water logged and we didn't have any maintenance kit with us.
TFTCFound after a lovely Easter Saturday lunch at the scenic hotel with Spicetree and the GeoBaby!
Making our way up the hill to grab a few challenge caches and passed by this one. A busy spot as there were no free carparks around but also no people. A quick find and we were on our way again. Both logbooks are damp.tftc#9312
We extended our stay in Adelaide after the MEGA Leapyear events and are still refreshing our memories, enjoying new places and doing some caching. We passed this area on our way home to the Caravanpark. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc LoftyReasons
Thanks for taking us to this beautiful little spot. We had already had lunch but should have held on for this pub with probably the best views of any establishment I have ever visited. Unfortunately the log book is soggy so was a bit tricky to make a mark. Can the next person to visit bring in a new log book.
Quick find here by torchlight. Unfortunately the log is sodden and I had no spares with me.Tftc
Adelaide and train trip Day 12. Blackwood day 4. After returning from my epic Ghan trip from Darwin to Adelaide yesterday, today was a day with a full day of caching planned. I was targeting the SFE challenges up beyond Norton Summit. I did a lot more walking than I expected and had to change my direction as some of the 'roads' I had targeted turned out to be reserve trails. I had a great day and apart from two Cherryville caches found everything I went looking for. I only just made it home in time, but it was well worth it.With many cracks and crevices, I was happy to find a cache here. I say 'a' cache, as the log book I signed had logs back to at least 2021 in it.Thanks for the cache LoftyReasons44710.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2006 Australia 4 A#48**Albida**
I went here to see if I could find it but I couldnt so I chose to put a new in. Round GZ you will find the cache I put here and it has some room for swapables
Went up to this geocache and did not find it anywhere near GZ but i recommended that the cache needs to check to see if it still there or not
Found plenty of litter in the bushes but no cache. Unless it got washed away in last night's deluge. !
Quite easy find after looking for a little bit, just remember to have a longer look if you can’t find it. You’ll find it soon enough.
Had another look at this one and found it really fast - log was a little wet

I like the statue. A great job of making a deceased politician look like an ordinary man. And instead of Sir Thomas, and all the letters that follow his name, it’s just done with Tom. All this and cherries too. I must find out more about him.
The cache was found between passing cyclists getting their breath back after ascending from Adelaide. There is no need to destroy the wall.
Thanks for the hide Lofty Reasons.

My plans for a big day of caching turned out to be rather cold and wet. So it was great pleasure that I found this one - opposite the Scenic Hotel. After finding the cache and signing, I didn't pass up the chance to have a sherbet at the Hotel which was pretty nice under the circumstances.
Thanks for bringing me here, LoftyReasons.

A spring afternoon with rain, thunder and some amazing lightning, was spent eating at a nearby establishment with my dearest muggle friend. After the beautiful meal we headed into the little park to find this cache. A magical day
Found in first place that I looked. A disrespectful bird has crapped on Tom's head. Thanks Lofty Reasons for placing cache. ps Log on quite wet.
Checked this cache as @Anime3splat had found it before.. definitely not where it was before
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache in a good hide.
Thanks for a quick stop, once we found a park that is. Will have to come back and check out the hotel.
Found while caching with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your special part of the world

Thanks for arranging and hiding. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Now off to the Scenic hotel for lunch
The old container would have been for this archived multi cache which ended up here: https://coord.info/GCYRDX
Cache now back in action!
New container. New log book. Same location.
Very oddly, discovered an old cache container (going back over 8 years) in the leaves on the slope above GZ! I've included a photo of an entry in a 'new' log book from that old cache container.

Dropped by GZ this evening. From a quick search, the container seems to be missing (unless it's been relocated). Either way, I'll schedule a more thorough search in due course, and if needed, I'll replace the container.
After a walk at Morialta, took the opportunity to head up to Norton Summit for a stout and bowl of hot chips. Checking the phone and I saw this was 50m from where I was sitting. When time to go home headed across to find this one and found it lying in the open in the centre of the park. Replaced where the clue suggested it should be, but that might not be the original location. TFTC
This evening after work, I was keen on completing the remaining *Something for Everyone* (SFE) challenge series, and so along the way, I visited a few other geocaches in the vicinity. I managed to see a few kangaroos about trying to feed as it approached dusk. It was a nice evening actually after it had been a warm day, so I enjoyed the solo geocaching spout, and helping to clear this area off my geocaching map.
This Norton Summit cache was my first this evening, and as the timing so happened, I bumped into [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) who was cycling up/down Norton Summit Road. We had a chat about the current COVID-19 events and what impacts this was having, and as we did so, I found the telltale sign of this geocache hide. A nice little park with interesting information/statue, so very worthy of a geocache placement here. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks LoftyReasons for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On the way to dinner we made a short stop here and read the information. Quickly found the cache thanks to the hint. Thanks from Switzerland.
A nice little casting and we were really impressed with the nearby plaque [^] - 'His Premiership showed that strong leadership, total probity and frugal management are at the heart of good government. In the end many people neither knew or cared to which Party he belonged. They simply trusted Tom Playford to do his best for South Australia.'

Stopped to use the nearby facilities and thought I would place a Church Micro at the church. Found a great spot and then thought I should check to see what was in the area. This cache 8 away. So instead of placing a cache I found a cache. Took a while to locate but got it in the end. Cross with self now that I forgot to take a picture of the statue. TFTC
Thanks lofty reasons for this cache. I took a great deal of time to try and pin point where this was before checking rocks. It would be easy to see how hiding a cache behind a rock would make normally conservative ppl deconstruct a wall. Managed to find it, it’s in good condition. Placed a rock marker on the ground near it
TFTC. Found at the start of my 2019 Heysen Trail walking season on a wet and foggy day
After finishing Uni for the afternoon and needing a few finds for the day, I decided to head out and pick up a few of the SFE Challenges. Some were qualified for, some were not, but those will be ‘Found’ later. Despite the grey clouds overhead, it was still an enjoyable afternoon, with all caches found in good condition.

found on route to the Welcome TDU Cachers 2019 event. this is somewhere i have passed many times in the truck but there just isn't parking here for the truck. Stopped today and made a quick find plus took a photo of the statue.
