No delicious cherries for me today but did find the cache. A very peaceful spot with a surprising lack of road noise.
Went caching today with a couple of first timers, and got this one nice and easy without too many issues. Love the Gorge!
Beautiful day for a walk through the gorge. I may have approached from the wrong side as the cache was visible in plain sight
Plenty Gorge Parklands. What a gem!
We met up with our niece and nephew (EwanF) here today and had a good walk around on this side of the river, getting some exercise and enjoying a few caches.
This was our fourth. We really enjoyed the walk along the river after logging 19 Kangaroos. We were going to get Plenty of Fruit at Happy Hollow, however we couldn't get across the river as the bridge was flooded. Actually it was non existent! Unfortunately the container here has seen better days. The log though was good enough to be signed. It will need to be maintained soon.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Ron.haha and for bringing us to this great area.

Had to google what the native cherry looked like and then we were quickly able to find it
I saw it from 30m away! Low fat!! It's seen better days and no pen so here's a pic!
I didnt get to see the lovely cherries but still got to hear the extravagant sound of the plenty
Found it but the lid was off and all the papers were scattered around the area. Picked most of it up and placed it back in the container and popped the lid back on the walk to find it was nice
A 6km run around the park, beings me to 999 caches and I'll find a special one tomorrow. Tftc
Thanks to other geocaches I know what a native cherry tree looks like.
There are only a few of these trees near the GZ, and the cache was soon found in spite of the jumping GPS.
Thanks for the cache Ron.haha

I have had the week off however mrs frilk has started back so I thought that I would get her out for a couple of hours to relax.
On the way to the GZ we came across the largest echidna that I have seen in the wild...must be all the ants!. A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

Good coordinates and the obvious Native Cherry resulted in a quick find and a lovely spot to sit and fill out the log. TFTC Ron
A nice walk through the Gorge. Easier find than the last one. And now I know what what native cheery is. Thanks.
Kato Potato and I had booked accommodation in Mill Park for the Whittlesea MEGA event.....non-refundable accommodation which thankfully opened up to us regional Victorians this very week. Despite not being able to attend the now-cancelled MEGA, we got back in the saddle of geocaching and realised how much we'd missed it in 2020.
Well, we found GZ and the tree......but no geocache. We hunted around, looked back through logs and something tickled Kato Potato's memory. We found the cache a good 15m away and replaced it where it likely should be. TFTC Ron.haha

After a particularly long caching hiatus thanks to COVID-19, Mummy Short Legs and I finally got to hit the road again for our annual caching weekend away. This weekend was originally planned to be celebrated with the nearby Mega event, cancelled for obvious reasons. We still had an accommodation booking though and thought waste not, want not! A great weekend away and an opportunity to just enjoy the area.
On the approach I noticed something out of place but didnt think much of it. Later, after a bit of a hunt and no success, I started looking through the past logs and something rang a bell. cautiously approached what I had seen earlier, thinking that I wasn't sure I wanted to touch it because the contents looked rather mouldy (actually was filled with red sequin stars!) and, bingo! It was a cache that had gone for a downhill tumble. Replaced it in a safe spot (fingers crossed). Thanks for the cache Ron.haha.

Fun find, now I know what the native cherry tree looks like (ok, I kind of knew, but this confirmed it). Dropped off a trackable which I have had far too long due to the lockdown. TFTC!
3rd find today with the grandkids. Having a wonderful walk kthrough this great park. A little bit of the Bush so close to the city TFTC
Looked around for a good 15-25 minutes and couldn’t find it! Maybe I’m an amateur
Due to recent nearby bushfire this parkland is closed. Entry is forbidden until further notice.
No cherries that I noticed, but it's not summer either. I'll might have to try here again in a few weeks. Thanks Ron.haha.
A quick find as the cache lay a bit exposed. Have been meaning to do theses caches for ages.
Finally a nice day to come and enjoy this great area.

I’d thought that I’d never seen a native cherry tree before, so I initially navigated us straight past GZ, but we ended up at the right place in the end. Turns out we have several native cherry trees in our own garden - I’d just never realised. A quick easy find, TFTC
Need to find 35 caches to access the lock to the vault - Mystery at the Museum. Found your cache today. Ron.haha, thank you so much for placing it.
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Plenty Gorge Park to do the Mystery at the Museum. Found it. Thanks Ron.haha for placing this cache
