###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

In Bendigo to hang out with Snap Happy, Happy Pants and OmegaMan to finish this Mystery at the Museum promotion. With that sorted it was time to head home - a few caches on the way! Thanks for the cache ShimmeringBanks.

The cache has a completely broken lid and so needs replacing as everything is getting wet.
I seriously dont recommend driving a car down this track. Found steel track staples sticking out of the ground which would go right through a tyre.. Cache was fun. Although container may need to be replaced as it is nolonger water tight as the lid has cracked. See attached photo. Everything else looks to be in order!
Found 9.20am
What a great way to start a day of geocaching. Lovely walk in the cool of the morning to a nice sized cache.
Quickly found as it was out in the open. Tnlnsl, hide a bit better.
Thanks for the cache.

We decided to go for a country drive today from Melbourne.
We had no particular plans, but we thought we would visit some of the smaller towns around the Bendigo area. We ended up not getting to Bendigo today but had lots of fun checking out the towns of Malmsbury, Taradale, Vaughan , Fryerstown, Chewton and Yapeen. Vaughan Springs is a really nice spot with a big slide for the kids to play on that we had never been to before.
At this cache Mrs P stayed in the car with the lazy boys while little Miss Tess and I went for the short walk from the parking spot to get this. She liked seeing the horses on the way and the diesel train speed past. I liked seeing the old tunnels going underneath the rails.
A nice size cache too is always good to find and Tess was happy to make some swaps and kept a golf ball.
Thanks for the cache ShimmeringBanks

Along with many like minded geocachers, we braved the wet and windy winter weather of International Geocaching Day to add a few more smiley tokens to our geo-map.
A bit of a sloppy walk to GZ, where we quickly found a well stocked cache, which we recovered with bark after logging in.
Thanks to 'ShimmeringBanks' for the hunt and cache placement

A bit of a 4WD to GZ, and an easy find was made.
Turning around was a struggle, but getting out was no problem.
While we were at GZ a train came by which was pretty neat.
**Thanks for placing this cache ShimmeringBanks**

Staying down the road at Taradale House Estate, we found this one in our way back to Melbourne - fairly easy find, we were able to drive our 4WD right up to the area!! Thank you for the cache, and taking us off the beaten track!
Suscoe was heading homewards today on a glorious late summer's day.
Sunshine everywhere but a few clouds and a strong wind heralded a southerly change which hit Geelong just after we arrived home.
The countryside is so dry as is the way of late summer.
A great range of caches was located today on both sides of the divide.
Thanks to ShimmeringBanks for this hide.
A delightful walk but the remnants of the wind storm for some time ago still remain on the ground. Must have been fierce.
All good at GZ but not sure about the soup.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks ShimmeringBanks (F=1 H=2) for the cache.

After a short walk to GZ, and watching the high speed train wiz by, the cache was found with accurate co-ords. Gave the log a new zippy bag. Thanks **ShimmeringBanks**. TFTC.

Woohooo success! Need a 4wd for this... Not sure how we're going to get out! Haha should be fun!
Find #`1264 for me. I stopped by here today on a mini-road-trip south of Bendigo where I live. With cooler temperatures and overcast skies, it was the perfect day to be out. I decided to park near the rail crossing at Potts Road as suggested. There was no way I was going to take my little 2WD down that track but was more than happy to walk on such a nice day, even though I felt a few spits of rain along the way. Once at GZ I spotted the cache quickly, but before I could open it and sign the log I heard a train approaching. Just a normal commuter train (not a steam train!) but I raced back towards the railway line for a quick pic. before returning to GZ to uncover the cache and sign the log. It was good to see such a large container with log-book and contents all in good condition. Thanks for bringing me here today ShimmeringBanks and thanks for the cache!
Our first cache for 2017... Nice walk in to the cache with geodog. Nice little spot
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
With Christmas nearly upon us we had the opportunity to do what we love the most and that is caching around our beautiful countryside. Heading towards Maryborough for the night we persevered through the heat with our windows down as our air conditioning decided not to play fair! Made our way along the track and nearly died of a heart attack at one point as a train came whizzing past us unexpectedly! The cache was found easily and in good contition.
Thanks ShimmeringBanks for the placement.

Parked at the suggested spot and enjoyed the walk with Motndarg. A train roared through as we were walking along. The cache was found quickly and replaced. Thanks ShimmeringBanks.
A nice wander to GZ , found cache OK. Train "flew " past! Noticed some broken crockery 1870's at the crossing, maybe there used to be a gate keepers house here years ago ?????
I was heading up to Castlemaine for lunch with friends today but thought I would do one cache on the way.
This was the one chosen and after parking near the crossing I walked along the muddy track to your cache.
Nice big one too
A train went past too which was a bonus
Thanks ShimmeringBanks

Awesome day for caching. Thanks for this lovely hide, we did not expect to see wildflowers here either. We could not decide if the nearby farm animals were goats or sheep. TFTC. Sorry we didn't see a train!
Found by Team Ladava on the 'scenic route back from Bendigo to drop off the van for service.
A rare second to find for Team Ladava as the electronic navigator had led us astray and I wondered if there were any caches in the area and yours popped up.
Great to find a generous size container after so many miserable micros.
Sorry, we did not have any trinkets with us.
Love your work ShimmeringBanks and congratulation on your first hide.

Hi MadFinn, we forgot to mention that we are Blues supporters! And we will enjoy wearing the navy and white we found in your cache, thanks again from Noodle 55.
Thanks for the cache Madfinn! A lovely walk on a sunny winter morning. A train went by as we searched for your cache, so close and loud! We are excited to record our first FTF.
Published- Congratulations on your first cache placement.
