Second time coming to look for this cache as the last one was mia and a beer bottle apparently. A nice quick find this time before the rain which meant there was no one about.TFTC
Here with the world Goldberry17, Techsavvy9, Bellbirddarl and Kaz444. Needed the whole lot of them to reverse our previous DNA but this time we managed to find it. TFTC.
We were in the area for the Talk Like a Pirate Day event and just had to find this geocache. We love a good mouse cache. Nice to see this has been here for ten years. Only in the last week, we read about the release of lots of New Holland mice in the newly declared Yiraaldiya National Park in western Sydney. We walked up to the top of the hill after signing the log to admire the sweeping ocean view on a rough, windy day. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
TFTC and a nice quick find. An area where I have never walked. The ocean was very rough but the coastline still looked nice.
Tyftc- out for an event with 2pods tech savvy Kaz444 and Goldberry 17; lovely spot- a bit rough out there today
Oooh! A looove-errly new contay-neh! Thunks ever so mooch, JT1018 So con-sid-dritt!!
Beautiful part of the world never been here before this is what geocaching is all about bring people to interesting and beautiful places. Out with KAZ444 for our lost caching day before I leave on a 5 weeks holiday to Japan and cruising home. We want to get some caches south of Newcastle. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.
Out for a day of caching with WRAACie. Nice walk to find the cache. Signed and returned. And then a few more steps to see the amazing view. Thanks for bringing me to this area I've never been to before. A fave from me.
Find#2438After doing some caching yesterday and looking at my calendar I realised if I would to claim this second souvenir for this month that I better get some caches today. Another cracking sunny day to start with so almost time to head home. A nice easy find at GZCache and log in excellent conditionTFTC
With t_L_d02. Almost gave up. Thought you were yankin' my chain. Then we spotted it.
Hi. I read the activity posts yesterday as I arrived too late or rather I had another engagement to attend. So I came prepared. I could not find original container so I replaced with a sistema container. Included two sheets of paper. No pencil sorry so I guess not fully prepared!Replaced as per original hint. Although left is subjective to which way youre going!Near the gz pointers. Really no need to get off the path but may have to feel a bit.I will message owner. Its a shame not to have a cache continue in this lovely spotTFTC
DNF. Not sure if it has been picked up and thrown away if it was in a glass bottle?
Found it with the kids this kids this morning.Container requires improvement as its a glass alcoholic beverage bottle without a lid. There is a pencil but couldnt complete the log as difficult to remove paper from within the bottle.A beautiful view beyond the find.
Found with the apprentice between multiple muggle visitations, the site was surprisingly busy for that time of day, but once I saw the view, there was little surprise why.No mice, (Dutch or any other nationality).
Geocaching in sydney, brisbane and anywhere in between, together with the 2 F's. TFTC
We found your cache today 23 February 2024 11:23am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC JT1018
A nice short walk from parked car, in blowing gale force winds with a touch of rain. Hint helped. Tftc
Why, why, why? This location deserves more than a somewhat prohibited container. There is so much here that it would be worth putting a better container in this location. Will add my vote to the Needs Maintenance logs. I found it quickly and then checked out the beach views. wish I had time for a longer stop.
the content and container here need urgent attention, there are a few things wrong with this cache... 1. Glass2. inadvertent or otherwise promotion of alcohol.3. Unsealed container.
Found but couldnt reach the paper down the long neck. Added a new piece of paper.
Sorry. I accidentally took the pen after signing the log. Can the next finder leave one please. Sorry JT1018.
Completed the trifecta here with this one. Was quite warm while I was finding this one. No chance for a swim
#12971 11:40Now here is a first. Not sure if this is the original cache container. But our names are on the log as MCBID, Martin Cousins, Brewmarker and Its Dozzie.TFTC
I think the CO needs to check this. The container couldn't be the original. But our initials are on the log. (MCBID). TF
Thats a first, very strange but funny enough container, like a KangTong geocache! TFTC Needs a lid.
quick and easy find. came down with a mate to visit Baz's bench all the way from Brisbane. beautiful spot. needs a new sealing container

We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Out grabbing a few around this area that we are staying or along the way. There were some great views along the walk.
The makeshift container was found after a short search, without any muggles about.
Thanks JT1018 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Thanks for this one. Beautiful views at end of path. Good fun finding this. Very small paper log so can the next person who comes hunting please bring more paper!
How cheeky, i thought it was rubbish then i had a second look and saw it, quick 30 second find
Found this one with B777 while on a morning stroll to the beach. TFTC SL. Its a pity about all the garbage in the area!
Great topic for the area and we read more at the nearby sign. Shame about the choice of container presently, its at high risk of muggle or water. I can imagine what it would have been though. Stunning area, what a view. Found with i_halfpint today. TFTC.
Not your average cache container, but it was a very pleasant walk to a beautiful stretch of beach.
Hadn't read the logs, so didn't know what to expect. At first I thought the log was a discarded cigarette butt. Log is nearly full. TFTC.
A quick find thanks to the coordinates and the hint, although the container was not what we were expecting. We cam at the right time of day as there were no megglrs about for the entire trip up and down the stairs.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A weekend with the family nearby landed me here getting the kids outside in the sunshine we finally have. A quick stop and a quick find in my first in a ‘container’ like this. Tftc
Today is our free day on our annual girl's golfing getaway and we decided to go for a drive and pick up a few random caches. The cache was exactly where it should have been but wondering if it is supposed to be in an empty beer bottle? Perhaps the CO could check it out. TFTC
TFTC, unusual item for a cache. Not my favourite, however coordinates and location are spot on.
Feeling like a big cache run today, I quickly strung out about 20x caches to do as well as pickup some furniture at the end of the day. Found some old DNF's and collected or is that didn't collect a few more DNFs for a return one day. TFTC's
I think I've had a lazy look with muggles everywhere about 4 times on this one, well today I found it in seconds.

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently only a month and a bit behind. But that's still over 100 caches!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Last time I headed south to appease the Caching Calendar Gods, so today I decided to head up to the Central Coast.
Thought I'd head towards Canton Beach, where I spent a few New Year's Eves back in the 80s. So much quicker driving there these days!
Made 10 finds, including a fun puzzle and a challenge.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here.
If none, then it was a good cache and easily found.

Couldn’t find this a couple of years ago but much easier find this time. Cache is water logged though. TFTC
The log book is needing replacing it is water logged and cannot physically sign it but great spot
Found it with andalee1982. Log book too wet to sign. This is my very first cache find. TFTC
Nice quick find this afternoon after a snack on the beach. So secluded today. Beautiful. Tftc
Found it this, after a CO movement, its quite easy to find now. The log is soaked, so I added a small piece of paper so it too can get wet and unuseable. Tftc.
Walking back from the beach and thought to check for a cache, very excited that one was only 60m away from where I was!
The log is super wet it started to come apart in my hands.
TFTC!
