No joy here - can CO check?

05-Jul-22
May need CO to check.

02-Apr-22
Nope

23-Nov-21
Went for another look after contacting CO. No luck, I think the recent work must have swallowed this one.

18-Nov-21
Didn't spend alot of time because of previous dnf. Looks like there is new work here, will keep our eye out. T f t c

Today I decided to go for a walk and do some of the Jack bobridge trail on foot, off I set from #10 through to #36, total of 11km return. Some of the caches were tough to find others a lot easier, it appeared once I got the hang of the hides they became easier to located.
All the caches found are in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

Today was the Big Birthday Bash in the Barossa. After a big caching day out I wasn’t sure how I would fare today, but still managed around 20.
Really enjoyed my walk along the rail trail and then headed to the Birthday party which was lots of fun.
I then did some of the lab caches in the area but ran out of time so I guess I will be heading back .
Thanks as always to all the CO for the hides.
Loving this trail and looking forward to coming back to do the next section TFTC LiB

Finally… Sunday. I am excited, a full day of caching, wherever I want to go. I woke at 4.30am eager as, tempted but needed more kip. I then slept through to 7, simply refuse to set an alarm on the weekend, so much for the early start. Packed the car and headed north, woohoo. Low lying fog all over the low lands.

I started on Twartz rd then did the meat trail by push bike. Slipped through Gawler and hit the start of the Barossa Trail. I need a good bunch on the western end, and a smattering of missed ones in the middle. I still had a few misses, but chuffed at turning my previous frowns into smileys. The day finished on the bike at Jacobs Creek complex, when the sun decided to fade. It was time to head home for some pasta, wine and to log the days finds.

I tried a new technique today of recording personal notes rather than logging in the field (LITF) so save some daylight time during caching.

Thanks for the cache. Getting quite used to rock turning, choosing which ones might be lucky. Still, tricky and these can sure take up some time.

15-May-20
These are so tricky. Will bring another set of eyes to find all the ones missed. TFTC!

08-Apr-20
We finally found it after 2 days of searching!!!! So sneaky! Love it

07-Apr-20
Not sure where this one is! We’ve searched everywhere!

22-Mar-20
Thanks, LíB for your considerable efforts on these bike tracks. Hopefully, we will be able to return one day to complete them. This is our last day of caching in SA before racing back to the West before the borders close.

This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the now-cancelled, GeoVenture2020 Event.

A new year so lets go out and find some caches
Thought this was going to be a power trail.
I sure got that wrong.
This was tough if you are going out for a bike ride picking up a few caches along the way.
Some very clever hides along the way.
I have just got a new bike to replace the one I use to go to the train station and back for work and wanted to take it iout for a spin.
So this was more about picking up a few caches along the way and enjoying the ride.
I spent less than 2 minutes at each spot and I didnt come up with many finds between Roland flat and Lyndock given how good the hides were.
A lovely dy for a cycle but as usual everything is shut down on a public holiday in the barrossa.
That is one great track.

Another excellent hide here! TFTC

03-Nov-19
Started this cache series a few years ago. Today I was back in force with Malco!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Great to see a series where all the caches are unique. Thanks

03-Nov-19
Out caching with Csaba! and the Supas.

All of these are tricky hides and much fun to find.

Thanks, 3LG

Today no good either, birds still there attacking anyone who comes close.

31-Aug-19
Tried to do this one today but there is a very very protective plover. Got swooped a few times. Thought it best to leave area. Just a warning to others considering attempting to find.

25-Aug-19
Mr Tardis was out on a nice spring day for a bike ride along the first part of the Jack Bobridge series. I really enjoyed the ride and the effort put into this cache series, with a variety of different finds.

Definitely got the mojo back - found this one in the first place I looked. More proof that Mr Tardis does not need glasses!

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache LíB.

Took the geokids out on a nice winter's day. TFTC.

11-Aug-19
Last day of the promo and I needed 33 finds to grab the final souvenier. What else to do but hit up a power trail. I managed to walk the round trip of 18 kilometers in around four and a half hours, A little further than I'd planned, but a few DNF's here and there stretched the journey a bit further than I'd hoped.

This was find number 7 of 33 for the day for me. TFTC LíB!

Getting quicker at these. Tyftc. Jones Family

Out for a day's caching with the Owl. The aim was to visit some of the JBT caches and a few other caches in the area.

Thanks for the cache 3LG.

05-Apr-19
Not quite in the expected place. As usual with this trail.

25-Mar-19
Today we headed north from where we are staying to look for caches along the Jack Bobridge Trail. We looked for over 45 of them and found nearly all. We want to go back and look again for the two that we missed now that we have had the opportunity to read other logs. The caches today that we visited were outstanding. There is such a variety of high quality hides. So much care and effort has gone into the design, construction and placement of the caches. It was a very enjoyable caching experience.

This cache was a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for this cache and a very high quality series.

The weather was perfect for caching today and so was the series of caches we had decided to look for!

3LG has done an amazing job on a series of very clever hides - we were constantly impressed by the variety, cleverness and trouble taken over each one.

F-Llama and Miss_Bovine are looking forward to returning another time to find more along the Jack Bobridge Trail.

A quick find at GZ.

This cache refused to be in the place we thought it would be. After being disturbed by two walkers, attacked by two birds and accidentally sitting in mud, this cache proved a suitable challenge for our milestone of 100 consecutive days with finds. Thank you for the cache 3LG.

15-Sep-18
Replaced cache, camo attached again

01-Sep-18
We decided to get a bit of exercise by walking a section of the trail and thought while we're at it we might as well find some caches. It seems a long time between finds these days! TFTC 3LG

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.

Mr Felix started at #79 at 8.30am and finished at #1 at 4.10pm, he was unable to complete the series due to trail works where the track is closed to all traffic for 1km. Picking up a few other caches along the way he managed to complete 75/79 attempted caches today.

What an awesome trail and amount of work to place and maintain. Definitely a fan of the series, so creative and tricky, such a range of quality hides. Helped out with some log replacements where necessary.

Needed a break from report writing and feeling sad that we were unable to go to the JLW event so drove down to Jack Bobridge trail and did fom the start to Sandy Creek on foot with the geo hound, who I might add LOVED it. A beautiful afternoon. I wish I had done this part of the trail first as the finds are so much easier than further along. Great trail!

I'm sure the SA government will bring the nanny state attitude to quash this loophole soon Sad

Yours truly couldn't care less about the vino !!

Sadly I couldn't enjoy the thrill of a bike ride today,
so hoofed it along the trail for a while Smile

Given the difficulty of finding some of these well disguised caches,
I doubt the bicycle would have been quicker [:o]

We walked from Gawler East to Altona (about 16kms) Todays step count 24,000. I enjoyed this trail immensely and appreciated the effort gone into the hides. 01-Dec-17
Headed out to Nuriootpa with sir_spectre and Rod81w to cache the day again. We had seen the weather reports so all came prepared with extra clothes. It is rare for us all the have a weekday off together and we weren't going to let weather reports predicting 50-100mm of rain dampen our caching spirits.
