I’ve wanted to do this trail for a long time and not sure why I haven’t. Anyway today after the nearby celebration event I decided to make a start. It was a beautiful evening for a wander so did a 3km walk and collected 7 from the series. I am definitely going to pencil in a plan to come back and do some more. It was nice to do a trail with a variety of styles of hides which have obviously had a lot of thought out into.
TFTH sadly could not locate this one even with help from Kaye, JJ52 and AnyMules, 2 of whom have found this one before. Will watch

Thanks, LíB for your considerable efforts on these bike tracks. Hopefully, we will be able to return one day to complete them. This is our last day of caching in SA before racing back to the West before the borders close.

This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the now-cancelled, GeoVenture2020 Event.

11-Aug-19
Last day of the promo and I needed 33 finds to grab the final souvenier. What else to do but hit up a power trail. I managed to walk the round trip of 18 kilometers in around four and a half hours, A little further than I'd planned, but a few DNF's here and there stretched the journey a bit further than I'd hoped.

This was find number 22 of 33 for the day for me. TFTC LíB!

Today we headed north from where we are staying to look for caches along the Jack Bobridge Trail. We looked for over 45 of them and found nearly all. We want to go back and look again for the two that we missed now that we have had the opportunity to read other logs. The caches today that we visited were outstanding. There is such a variety of high quality hides. So much care and effort has gone into the design, construction and placement of the caches. It was a very enjoyable caching experience.

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of another exceptionally well designed and presented cache. It also earns a favourite from us. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for this cache and a very high quality series.

Together with jsson on a daytrip north of Adelaide up to Gawler. We logged as IJ.
It was a very hot day with temperatures up to 37 degrees C. We did only take one 2,5km walk and gave priority to car caching instead. We soon found a very nice trail which we followed until we had to break.
Thanks for placing a cache here for me to enjoy and find.

Found with Tramper Ted after our orienteering event today. We enjoyed the Jack Bobridge trail caches so much yesterday that we decided to find a few more (by car). Thanks 3LG, again these hides were clever, very varied, well crafted and some were a challenging test of our observational skills. Greetings from New Zealand.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.

Mr Felix started at #79 at 8.30am and finished at #1 at 4.10pm, he was unable to complete the series due to trail works where the track is closed to all traffic for 1km. Picking up a few other caches along the way he managed to complete 75/79 attempted caches today.

What an awesome trail and amount of work to place and maintain. Definitely a fan of the series, so creative and tricky, such a range of quality hides. Helped out with some log replacements where necessary.

Great winter day with sun out, so with the partner busy with work stuff, decided to drive to Lyndoch and do some cycling around the Jack Bobridge path collecting caches, all while hunting for Hidden Creatures.
Was doing the Jack Bobridge in reverse commencing with #40, and worked my way down to #20 before having to turn back. Was expecting a power trail, but instead these caches were incredibly well done, and easily worth a few FPs awarded.

I thought this cache had great ingenuity and enjoyed finding this one, thanks 3LG, FP awarded.

I was on my way home from Nuriootpa and had a bit of spare time so thought I would find a few of the Jack Bobridge caches to get a feel for the series. Wink
I have heard a lot about the great hides and the variety of containers and after I had done 7 of them I am now itching to come back with my bike so that I can get them as they were intended. Cool

There didn't look to be too many places for a cache here, but on closer inspection I got it. Surprised

Thanks for the cache 3LG. Smile

We could have so easily missed that...we didn't Smile

Today Mr froghoppin and I walked the Jack Bobridge Trail from #1 to #49. With brisal5 & AnyMules joining us between #38 - #49. We walked from Gawler East to Altona (about 16kms) Todays step count 24,000. I enjoyed this trail immensely and appreciated the effort gone into the hides. I look forward to coming back to complete the rest of the trail.

TFTC & the series 3LG. Smile

Today we taclked the seres by foot with Hevwalker doing #1 to #40 and then joined by Anymules and Brisal for #41 to #49, loved the variety of hides and while some were found straight away others took a more methodical search, ants had us tap footing at some locations and unlike a previous visit no snakes were seen today. Great effort a fav point for each one in the series, looking forward to finishing the sereis in the near future

Did a walk today with my family along Jack Bobridge, we have nearly finished this trail and it has involved a number of lovely walks with such diverse clever geocaches. Some big, some small, some really hard and some easy.

One thing we have relied on is the accuracy of the coordinates and today was no exception, when they were tough I just stayed in the spot that my GPS said was correct and we eventually found them all - 13/13 caches found today. Thanks 3LG I really do enjoy this trail. TFTC

Had some time, whilst out this way, to do some walking to some of these.
Nice work on all the different hide types, didn't see too many duplicated hides/cammo. A couple were too good and DNFs resulted...

Thanks for the hides and exercise...

Merry Christmas

found with getnict and rod81w. after leaving Nuriootpa. power trails are more number grinding, this trail made the grinding a lot more fun and entertaining.

01-Dec-17
Headed out to Nuriootpa with sir_spectre and Rod81w to cache the day again. We had seen the weather reports so all came prepared with extra clothes. It is rare for us all the have a weekday off together and we weren't going to let weather reports predicting 50-100mm of rain dampen our caching spirits.

Mogni was still in town and that meant another day of caching. Picked her up and seeing we had a great time walking along the Jack Bobridge Trail yesterday we headed out to finish the ones she was yet to get. Cool
Well what can I say. this one had me completely outwitted. Maybe I should have had a bigger coffee or something but I just couldn't see it. Red Face Even when mogni iused her special black magic voodoo mojo powers to produce the log I just gawked. Smile Where did that come from? Log stamped she put it back and again it disappeared. Another great hide and another FP from me. Boy am I glad she is on my side.
Thanks 3LG for this cache and a great series. Big Grin
