I went out for the day with Peas&CarrotsForever and Sandelf to attend the "Pirates of the PA ribbean Project Planning #1" event at Gawler.
After the event had wrapped up we ventured out to grab caches around Lyndoch and Rosedale.
A total of 12 finds for the day for this pineapple plus the event.
A quick find was made here today. Not where I expected it to be when first approaching.
A cool hide.
Cache and contents are in good condition.
Signed the log as "Goldy".
Thanks LíB for this cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3345 on the 4th of August 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

The forecast was good so I thought I'd get a start on the Barossa Trail by walking. I did a few by parking roadside Wandering Heroes style.
A quick find.

Today I had a plan to head out to the Lyndoch area to run a few errands and find a few caches. This plan, however, was slightly altered when, the night before, a few caches were published out in Williamstown along with one near Lyndoch. I had made my way through Williamstown, and picked up three First to Finds there, before making my way to Lyndoch for a fourth. With these done, along with the completion of the errands I was going to run, I decided to spend the rest of my afternoon caching through the area. It had been an enjoyable day of caching and I was finally ready to make my way home. Though as I pulled out on to the Barossa Valley Road and saw that this cache was within a few metres, I could resist stopping for one more find. I parked in an appropriate spot and made the quick stroll to ground zero, before beginning my search. It did not take me long to spy the cache, retrieve I, and stamp my name in the log book. The cache was quickly replaced and I was on my way home.

Up from Adelaide again, hoping to finish off the Anna Tommy series and pick up one or two other caches around the place too.
It’s going to be a bloody hot one so in for an early start to get in before the heat of the day hits.
A quick find, sign and return.

Day seventeen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
With Sunday's crappy weather all finished, we set of on the deadly treadlies to complete some more of the Barossa Trail. We drove to Lyndoch, and then rode to the start of the trail then back to the Bakery at Lyndoch for lunch.
After lunch we did a few more back towards Rowland Flat, and then a few odd ones.
A nice collection of caches, and a great ride.
Thought we might have muggle trouble here, but they soon mowed down the road.
Unexpected hide, but soon located.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19329. Day 17 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. After a miserable day weather-wise yesterday it was back to the bicycles today with the hope of making a big dent in the Barossa Trail caches. We parked at Lyndoch and rode towards Gawler - starting at #40 and gathering all that were available until we finished at #1. 2 1/2 hours to do that and another 1/2 hour to ride back for our lunch stop. After lunch we did a few more before returning to base at Tanunda. A great day's ride and so many interesting cache hides.
This was another sneaky hide that had us looking for a bit too long before Rob said those favourite words "found it".
Thanks LíB

Today I decided to go for a walk and do some of the Jack bobridge trail on foot, off I set from #10 through to #36, total of 11km return. Some of the caches were tough to find others a lot easier, it appeared once I got the hang of the hides they became easier to located.
All the caches found are in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

I’ve wanted to do this trail for a long time and not sure why I haven’t. Anyway today after the nearby celebration event I decided to make a start. It was a beautiful evening for a wander so did a 3km walk and collected 7 from the series. I am definitely going to pencil in a plan to come back and do some more. It was nice to do a trail with a variety of styles of hides which have obviously had a lot of thought out into.
TFTC LiB and the series, I will be back

The cache where laying on the footpath. I think the bracket is broken. We put it to the closest place, where we thought it should have been.
Day 437 ( Sunday 8th ) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Going to finish off the Barossa trail run we started last time we were here. TFTC
This is my starting point for my introduction to the Barossa Trail, on foot today, but hopefully back on bike later. I think I’ve put tomorrow’s date in all the logs, I’m logging after the event.

Thanks, LíB for your considerable efforts on these bike tracks. Hopefully, we will be able to return one day to complete them. This is our last day of caching in SA before racing back to the West before the borders close.
This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the now-cancelled, GeoVenture2020 Event.

Having a fun day out with Csaba!, SupaOrange and Malco!. This was a fun series with all different hides. Turtle Out.
Started this cache series a few years ago. Today I was back in force with Malco!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Great to see a series where all the caches are unique. Thanks
After a couple weeks break we're back at it. Such a nice day for finally doing this trail. Thirty four down many to go. Cheers cobber.
Last day of the promo and I needed 33 finds to grab the final souvenier. What else to do but hit up a power trail. I managed to walk the round trip of 18 kilometers in around four and a half hours, A little further than I'd planned, but a few DNF's here and there stretched the journey a bit further than I'd hoped.
This was find number 27 of 33 for the day for me. TFTC LíB!

Today we headed north from where we are staying to lookfor caches along the Jack Bobridge Trail. We looked for over 45 of them and found nearly all. We want to go back and look again for the two that we missed now that we have had the opportunity to read other logs. The caches today that we visited were outstanding. There is such a variety of high quality hides. So much care and effort has gone into the design, construction and placement of the caches. It was a very enjoyable caching experience.
This cache was a quick find because we saw it for the car as we pulled up. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for this cache and a very high quality series.

Back to a Tuesday Trekking this week for some members of the Puzzled Puzzlers as some could only make Tuesday and some could only make Wednesday. Luckily I could do both. So today I was joined by Doctor Owl and Anymules and we decided we would grab a BFE, the (L)NERD cache and head over towards Jack Bobridge.
After stopping for lunch at the Williamstown Bakery we were finally back on the Jack Bobridge Trail filling in some gaps. [^] Talk about ignoring the elephant in the room. I was looking for something devious, forgetting that there were some normal hides along the trail. Almost a smack myself in the forehead moment when I saw it. [:o)]

It's taken a while to get back to this series, but today was the day! Distracted by something that could have been the cache, but the Starfish found the real one.
Found the decoy first, then found the real thing.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Together with jsson on a daytrip north of Adelaide up to Gawler. We logged as IJ.
It was a very hot day with temperatures up to 37 degrees C. We did only take one 2,5km walk and gave priority to car caching instead. We soon found a very nice trail which we followed until we had to break.
Thanks for placing a cache here for me to enjoy and find.
