Thanks nzkites for bringing us to this interesting viewpoint. Two way view indeed and a straight forward find.
Coordinates changed from:S 37 45.981 E 176 29.518Coordinates changed to:S 37 45.989 E 176 29.507Distance from original: 72.0 feet or 21.9 meters.Area changed since original placement and cache missing, replaced in different spot nearby.
Checked today, cache missing as expected because the area has changed since placement. We expect to replace it later today.
Apologies for the delay; we plan to visit Pukehina within the next week or two in order to check on this cache, and will either replace or archive it.
New fence and no cache in sight. A bit disappointing caching mining with the grandchildren
PLEASE NOTE: Geocaching is not permitted during Covid levels 3 and 4.

Navigation off but counting worked once you figure out which side your meant to count! Found with Drillax
Second catch! TFTC. Took a little while to find (hint worded a bit weirdly) but got there in the end
Picked up on our little roadie with ABCDF4 whilst in the area, quick easy find, neat area.TFTC.
Filling in time before we go to an afternoon wedding. This one took a while to locate. Co-ords are out about 25m, as last log mentioned, but once cache was found, log was signed and cache was placed back as found. Cheers
Travelling up to Northland to see the kids. Stayed the night in Pukehina and enjoyed exploring the peninsula right to the end. Found this cache by using the hint after ignoring the coordinates. I got the cache 25 m out. Lovely to be here when the Pahutukawa are out. Thanks for the smiley.
Nearly had to count twice, but gentle fondling found it. Sunny and crisp. From the top of the steps the island that exploded is in the distance at 1 o'clock, not the shark fin at 2 o'clock. Tftc
I arrived with my snail shell and parked it up at Papamoa Beach for a few days so that I could sign off a few solved puzzles and any trads that get in the way.
This is one of those trads.
Cheers for the cache.

On a maintenance run in Pukehina today. This cache is in place, all ok and waiting for the next finder. We will update the coords when able for better accuracy.
Now NZ has moved to Alert Level 2, Geocaching is allowed but it’s up to each one of us to keep the rest of us safe.

Tftc, found a few counts out after much terror, hands in holes, way out of comfort zone!! Resituated. Lovely walk. Crashing waves, tftc
Found it!! The hint helped us for this one and with a bit of hunting we soon had it, always pays to take note of the cache title
Cache replaced. As the coords don’t seem very accurate, we have updated the hint and will recheck the coords at a later date.
Apologies, we have been busy with other commitments, we did visit Pukehina earlier this month intending to check our caches but the weather was so bad we weren’t able to. We’re hoping to get back there next week and will sort this one out.
May be gone?
Really hurt and bruised my wrists when I extended my search on lower railings...ouch .
Was here sooooo long.....
Will put on watch list .

We found it after enjoying this great beach access that we don't use.Great place to hide it.
Came to visit my friend Ray in Pokehina today. Thought we would pick up some caches on the walk to point.
Spotted it right away and guided the kids so that they can find it. Took two small swoppable items. Then took the steps down for a beachwalk to the next cach.

Having just a week ago returned from Queensland I can honestly say the one thing I really mused was the NZ coastline. Pity it's autumn here cos I would love to find a safe beach to swim in.
Found it easily. In a nice cosy spot. Sun was shining, We were lucky to not have niggles around. Thanks for the fun!
Out walking Albert the geohound for his evening walk before the sun goes down and can use some natural light to find the geocache. Must admit, made a bit more hard work of this one than I needed to but got there in the end. There was a very pretty little piece of swag in the cache but alas I didn't have anything to swap for it so left for a future finder. Thanks for the cache all good here and a nice view along the beach to boot.
Collected on a weekend road trip to see some kiwi fruits with my mom. Had some more time before returning back to AKL and decided to go for a beach walk. TFTC
Easy find thanls. On our way to do more maintenance to our cache. Just a typical beach day!
With the hint this one didn't require a long search. Well named cache with a view in both directions.
Lots of muggles around today thanks to the Anniversary weekend holiday but we managed to grab this one while everyone was busy swimming on the beach. As the title says... two-way views and both were awesome!
Our mission for today was to clean up the Maketu/Pukehina coastline since our last visit about 2 years ago. What started out a nice overcast day was now raining. A quick dash up the access to GZ to search for this one. Houses occupied on both sides of the fence so had to duck down below the fenceline to avoid any unwanted attention. Cache was quickly found here - TFTC!
My first visit to Pukehina. Max was still in the car for the ride, but itching to get out.
I thought I would pick up the few caches on the way out to the surf club first, so Max wasnt getting in and out of the car wet and sandy too often, so I left him in the car and made the quick find.
A strange and steep beach access.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Great day out for caching no muggles and beautiful weather. Quite a sneaky hide. Thank you.

We were sitting watching TV around 8.15pm and spotted a circle around the calendar signalling a dot day find required! ! A quick look on the geocaching map revealed a 30 minute drive to Pukehina was required. Found on a dark blustery evening.

On a trip from Tauranga to Opotiki, going to places that I haven't been before and collecting some caches on the way. Thanks for putting one here.
....and 6 weeks later it's the bridesmaid's turn to find this.. and no-one in between. Love it
Yes indeed ... the 2-Way views were most splendid . Thank you so much for the new Pukehina placements... we're off now to Whakatane.....
Second attempt at this one, last time it was dark
Glorious day
Happy Waitangi Day

Phew, that was a bit of a climb. Must be easier ways to get to a beach.
A muggle free day today and a bit cool and windy as well.
This is summer.??
Thanks nzkites, time to head home again.

TFTC awesome view from up here. Can see both ways up the beach. Tide is nearly full and the sun is shinning
On a caching adventure with the dog...
The sea was angry today, and not helped by a strong, breezy on-shore wind. We were quite protected in this small hillside nook. We had the area to ourselves and could search in relative peace... It took a while to uncover this one, and we spent more time than was necessary poking through the bushes. Eventually, we realised where this one was. Sure enough... TFTC.
