Tftc found this very cute cache in this lovely spot at Wynum with Quesera on a beautiful day
Got to gz and there were a couple taking pics of each other at this cool spot. Sharpem and I pretended to be interested in something else until they left. Within a few seconds we had our hands on a nice different type cache. Enjoying these home made caches that are great camo and the spots we have been to today are places we would not normally go to and we enjoyed the trail very much. . Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Found it! Read the hint and immediately knew where to find this cache - without even looking at GPS coordinates. TFTC - helping me reminisce about my days in Wynnum Manly.
what a cool sculpture, very apt for the area. this one took some pretending to talk on the phone, and waiting for a quiet time to feel around. after a little time lapse the cache was discovered, quickly signed and safety returned. TFTC
Found by jas but smallest member wanted to find this one and just stood jumping up and down in temper and crying because jas would not let him find it but tftc
Found the cache
Went to find it last week but no luck and came back the next week

Was out caching at Wynnum central today doing some Xmas shopping and thought what a great opportunity for another smiley on the Map. We parked near GZ and walked over we did a quick survey of GZ but a muggle was enjoying lunch nearby and was observing GZ so the search was delayed . After Some Christmas gifts were brought we went back to GZ and luckily no muggles were in sight . We surveyed GZ again and soon had the cache in hand . Thanks for the cache Wynnum Wanderers. TFTC!!!
Finally had a chance to go caching today, and despite the heat decided to go to for it. Having a number of Wynnum puzzles solved and not having cached out this way before, it was the plan for the day. Haha this is so cool! Simple and effective. Cache didn't take too long to find, just needed to find muggle free gaps to retrieve and return. TFTC
My map showed this cache as being on one side of the road, but as we were searching there, I looked up and spotted something on the other side of the road that fitted much better than where we were. So, we crossed over. So many muggles around here! We managed to retrieve the cache, but signing the log and returning the cache became almost impossible as there was a constant stream of muggles. We decided to buy head to a nearby store to buy a cold drink and sat and signed the log there. Whilst we were chatting, I noticed a good break in the passing muggle traffic, so quickly went to GZ and returned the cache to its hiding spot. TFTC
It was a DNF a few events ago, but after tonight's event we decided to check it out, as we could tell from our Watch list emails that the cache was back and OK. And so it was!
Log signed and replaced as discovered. Found at 8.10pm on 24tg October 2016. TFTC.

TFTC... Thank goodness for geokids and geodog. Geokid Madison was able to get the container while the geodog provided a patting opportunity as a distraction while the deed was completed. Popular spot outside an eatery , thankfully the patrons were engrossed in lapping up the delicacies. This one is off the .. list.
I was over Wynnum way for a coffee this morning and decided to see if I could have some luck with this one. The last time I was here there were too many people around and no chance to look.
Today while there might have been a couple of people around, I had a couple of bags with me as well. Putting them down close to the target with the appearance of searching through them for something and the cache was soon in hand and my name on the log.

Started off from Wynnum north train station with plans to make it along to coast to Manly and then to Manly station. Didn't quite make it that far, a four year old slows you down quite a bit. So this was find 13/14.
Added this series to our list as we realised we weren't going to make it as far as originally planned.
This one was cleverly camoed. My 4 yr old had fun climbing on the bucket while I looked for the cache.

When IolantheK put out the call for some company during a day out caching, Mrs Just a Trifle was only too happy to assist and volunteered for a day of awesome fun Together with RhoBoCacher, the intrepid trio made short work of many of the caches in the Wynnum area
Our GPS put us in the middle of the road, but we soon decided the likely spot for the cache hide. We soon had our hands on the container and with our names added to the log book, we returned to bumbles to make our way to the next cache.
Thank you Wynnum Wanderers for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out for a play day with Ms JustaTrifle and RhoBoCacher at Wynnum today
Time for a wander through suburbia [^] Now that was surprising to see! GPS had us across the road, but we soon zeroed in on the hide. Love the container too, so have a favourite point. TFTC, Wynnum Wanderers.

This one the coords had us in the middle of the road so we saw something that resembled the name crossed the road and decided to cross back again to where we were the first time and had a couple of pics while we looked for it so it didnt look sus to muggles nearby. TFTC
A wander around the block brought me to this spot. The cache name made it obvious where I should be. It's a busy spot so there is always going to be a risk of being spotted. So I sat in a most convenient spot and played with my phone while checking surroundings for possible observers. Hmmm, there was one chap sitting, sipping coffee across the road who may have been watching me so I watched him out of the corner of my eye. Suddenly a shapely lass jiggled across the road and he was transfixed. Impervious to such distractions(cough cough), I made the grab and the log was signed. Ha ha, he then wandered off in the direction of the young lass so I quickly returned cache to it's nook. Easy to do unobserved if your sitting in the right spot. Thanks Wynnum Wanderers a cheeky little hide.
As previous finder, referred to the cache name at GZ then a quick find. Carefully replaced on Velcro. Glad I searched for this one on a Sunday afternoon. This must be muggle central during the week. Hope it has a long existence... **TFTC**
We have one full day in Brisbane today before heading home to Christchurch tomorrow evening so decided to take the train to Wynnum to explore the area (and find a cache or two ). An interesting and scenic geotour, with some tricky hides but unfortunately with a high percentage of DNFs. Thanks to all the COs for contributing to our enjoyable day.
We should have read the cache name before crossing to the other side of the road, as it was easy to spot where the cache was hidden if we had. A bit of groping and I soon found the cache - though it's definitely a micro rather than a small size. Nice feature that deserves a cache. TFTC.

#12832. Coords seemed a bit out, but the cache name pointed us in the right direction. TFTC.
There is now a new container in place that grips to the cache location
The last magnet cache has been removed and replaced with this one, hoping it will last longer
Happy Caching. WW

Easy find tonight but I am sure it is not going to last long. I had a hard time replacing it and getting it to stay, it just kept slipping and sliding. TFTC
The cache is back in place and ready to be found
We have come up with a new attachment and container which will hopefully last longer

Sadly this cache has been lost again.
the entire mechanism to holding the cache in place has fallen off so we are going to disable it until we can either find a better system or a stronger magnet. we have made a new container but are working on improving our system.

The Event tonight at Wynnum causes us to go geocaching in the afternoon beforehand! (Any excuse, after all!) The RoddyCs were in the company of Joojoo57 today.
We could not find any cach here.

Sadly a DNF for me tonight. Met up with some cachers and we spent quite a bit of time trying to come up with the goods. Met up with other cachers later and they say it has been Muggles again. I will be watching for it to be replaced and will try and be there in a flash.
This was just too easy, it was a very quick find. Although it was disguised very well.
Quick easy find. Harder to put back cause there was a couple having a ciggie on the bucket. TFTG.

A quick find here now that the cache has been replaced.
I hope it lasts a bit longer this time.
Love the bucket & spade although it has caused some dissension amongst the locals.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Came over to Wynnum to find some caches today even though it is very wet.
Had lunch nearby.
Then I went to get the cache while geopartner kept a watch on muggles.
All went well and the log was signed.
Replaced where we found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Wynnum Wanderers All good with this cache

We were unable to conduct a thorough search as there were muggles everywhere.
We did however make a quick scan of the site & came up with nothing.
A quick call to a previous finder confirmed that the cache is missing.

10/7/16 Out caching with Marina25 today. The GPS took me to each corner for this one. I just couldn't believe it would be where it was, but I finally decided to search that spot and when my hand touched it I was a happy little cacher. TFTC Wynnum Wanderers
Yes the velcro is very strong but the sticky part of the velcro backing lets go so after retrieving the cache make sure you put the sticky side back on the structure TFTC
I was a little slow to read my emails about this series but to my delight, I was no further away than Wynnum West, so raced over immediately. I parked under Coles and was at the GZ promptly. The cache was very hard to remove in its particular position and I ended up needing both hands. I then retired to the bus stop bench where I was surprised to find I was only third to find (but now that I know the Hinds were literally sitting right next to it, I don't feel so bad.)
I replaced it carefully and think it should actually last well. TFTC in a memorable spot!

As soon as I heard there has been new ones published at wynnum I had a great feeling it would include this new icon on Bay Tce. Great place for a hide! The local coffee shops will see some weird going ons from now on! Thanks for placing this cache here and cool little hide.
I was in the area when I had an alert of the new caches and decided to head to this one.
I was stuck behind traffic at the corner and watched the Hind Family retrieve the cache and move to the tables to sign the log.
I called out a greeting as I drove past and then had to find a parking spot and by the time I arrived back at the cache they had replaced it and had left.

{FTF} sitting down eating ice cream and 'Bing' new geocaches - wait, what..! Only 14meters away! What fantastic luck another amazing hide WW. Very clever - a favourite point to follow
Please take care when replacing the cache as the adhesive on the velcro is not very strong. We are working on a solution, but it will have to do for the time being
