Though I dont have much time to do so, I was grateful to spend a little time pondering in the calm before the storm that is Schoolies Festival Im here for my third year of volunteering with the Green Team, running Schoolies this weekend and of course any trip away from home would be incomplete without collecting as many caches as possible!
Came to Victor Harbour to complete the new adventure lab with Sparkie. Found a few others along the way with this being one of them. Tftc
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in beautiful Port Elliot for a few days to cache the area. Came prepared to replace container but it was already done. Thanks for the find. LCNU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending a few days in beautiful Port Elliot exploring the area and picking up a few caches. What a fantastic park here. TFTC. LNCU
Found the cache, container full of rocks and no log book to sign. Have sent photo to CO and logged a needs maintenance.
Cache needs maintenance. Found the cache uncovered with a bunch of rocks inside and no log book.
Found but no log book in the container sadlyCourtneyrose_ and I headed to Goolwa for a night away to complete the local parkrun, along the way to and from we stopped to find a few caches. Thanks for the cache
Cannot believe how darn busy this park is, we came in the quiet of the day, took the dog for a walk, which became our 'undercover' look. What lucky residents nearby having this awesome area to wander around instead of staring at the house on the opposite side of the road. The phone signal was telling us several locations but we soon had the correct location.
There was a bit of birdlife about but no where near the amount of ducks we were hoping for, we like ducks.
Thanks Melzstringer for the cache. Found it, signed the log, and replaced the cache safe and sound as found. TNLN

Found while caching around Victor Harbor for the day. Thanks for the cache Melzstringer!
Found the container lying out on the ground ( lid separate) and no log book....added a scrap of paper and have replaced where I THINK it was supposed to be.
Found it... But no log book in closed to sign. Will send photo of found container to CO as proof.
Went tripping with Purrfect Di. Jack tagged along too. A couple of sunny days down south
A nice walk in the park. Came the long way of course Neatly hidden.
Thanks to you for putting this cache out on the SA geomap Melzstringer

Caches everywhere are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Thought we would make the most of the nice weather and tackle a few caches before the forecast rain.

Easiest geocache find ever. Lovely spot here of an evening. Nice bushy lake with heaps of birdlife.
Been doing a lot of wall building at home and my muscles were aching. Time for a day off to do some caching and chill. So I called up Anymules and we met down at Victor Harbor to continue where we left off when our last day was cut short by an impending 5 day covid lockdown! I think I will rename Victor Harbor after today to Micro Harbor. I had brought several TBs to leave in caches down here but it took all day to find suitable sized ones. Just saying. [:o)]
We came..we pondered and after ignoring the obvious spot for a while we retuned to it and uncovered the cache.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

Found on a two day blitz of the area to get back on top of the growing number of un-founds for me. A good 'ole fashion hide

I was staying at Middleton with some friends for a few days and today I wanted to come and get this cache as it was one of only a few that I haven't found down here. [^]
I had read the previous log and came with a replacement cache and log book. I too found the hide which couldn't be mistaken but there was no cache there so I left the replacement so that this one can continue to be found.
Thanks for the cache Melzstringer.

As we made our way to Victor Harbor, Mrs. iowaPete and I did a little geocaching along the way. We added this cache to our chase list and enjoyed the hike from the road over to gz and the fast find. The container is a bit damp inside, but not too bad. The log sheet was dry enough to accept our signature. I added an iowaPete signature golf tee and a chance cube to the swaps, then reassemble and re-hid as before. Next time the CO is in the area, may wanna stop by and give this cache a little love.
On to the next!

My first find as a user of this app! I will go back and leave a little colourful clay critter.
We looked for a while but did not find. We found a spot where a cache may have been hidden at some stage but it appears to be empty. Could be missing.
Thanks for the cache I was going in circles for a while eventually found it. great logbook
Today my target was to hit my next big milestone. I also wanted to get 10 Freddo caches, I am attempting to get to 350 Freddo finds by the end of the year. I think I got 8 in the end, 10 was a bit too ambitious given all the other things that needed to be done today. My list tells me I still have 360 odd to find so a long way off ever being anything near Freddovarna.
I did however make it to 9000 caches and had a nice day out. Saw lots of wildlife including a ginormous bull. The weather was a bit weird but definitely much better than yesterday.
Managed to make my on time arrival at Marion shopping centre at 3.30pm if only I had all the day light hours for caching....
So once the Freddo business was out of the way (this took up most of my caching allowance) I headed to Mogni territory, I think I hit 100 Mogni finds today.
Went for a nice wander along the track to find this one. Took a little while before I spied it. TFTC Melzstringer

It was midday when we reached the start of the walk to this cache and it was getting very warm. We were glad there was some shade along the path and the light breeze was keeping the flies at bay.
At GZ we circled the central object several times before the container was spotted. We were surprised at how well it blended into the vegetation above and below it. The container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Melzstringer. We enjoyed the walk and the area close to GZ. There was water in the pond but no ducks today.

We did bring some food for the ducks, but alas, there was not a duck to be seen as the pond was dry. SL TFTC
Stopped on route to the Seaside Ten event. A short stroll to this one. No pondered needed to find the cache but i also had to ponder on how to avoid the muggles. the lid is missing. quick find
Found it. Do you know how many times we have been past this geocache without knowing it was here??
