An early start to the day to drive down to Wellington for the Matariki event on Mt Victoria. Now out to find some caches. Thanks TharnTheHalkan for the cache.

Another great and accurate cache. Hard to look stealthy and a lot of muggles around, so used the busstop as cover to complete the log. Thanks!

No luck! Had a good look around the magnetic items on the ground but alas. Will accept hints!
Had got a little too used to the other sizes in this series and I tried to go with the flow, with middling results. Read the latest maintenance log and adjusted my search strategy to great success. Temework makes the dream work, it seems. TFTC
Had good fortune with others in the series but this one has us stumped. Looked in all likely spots at the location
Sunday afternoon caching mission with GeoHubby. Cache was a quick find but was on the ground. Lots of muggles around but we were pretty stealthy!
Day 2 of soggy impromptu cache hunting with LL113, slightly less soggy, somewhat more humid
Yay! Turning that frown upside down! Don't know how we missed it last time, although it was dark... Good to have a tool for opening and extracting the log. TFTC
Found very quickly, my arthritic hand could not open the cache, but photo as proof of find if ok, tftc TharnTheHalkan
Found with its_smitchell, hard to open, but persistence paid off. TOTT helpful. TFTC
Not able to find this one. Wary of the electrical boxes but did see a hint object in one of them…
DNF found a logical place where it would be hidden, but nothing there. Possibly gone.
Had been turned back by roadworks but found another way here. Saw something suspicious and was trying to retrieve it when muggle neatly ran me over. Was a red herring but did give me an idea. Turned around and quickly found it. Thanks.
Very tricky to open but got there in the end with a bit of help. First find in this series today and glad to be able to change my sad face to a smile. Many thanks
Found it right away … my favourite cache so far as it put a smile on my face. Didn’t try to remove log as it was dark and I didn’t want to stand around … nice one!
Today is one of those geocaching days I don't like. I'm working a number of calendar based challenges, but luckily only two are up for today - the streak and getting my calendar up to 10 caches per day. The streak is easy - one cache sorts that. but the 10 caches per day is a problem. I need 5 finds! Too many of those and it might compromise my streak. And on top of that this is a winter weekday, when anytime before work and anytime after work is in the dark.
So I arrived here in the middle of the night, just before 6am. It's cold, and dark, with extra dark. No stars or moon because of a thick layer of rain clouds. Oh - by the way, it is also raining. The logs say this cache is easy but I am struggling. I even checked under the cover to see if the 400amp fusebox is a real fusebox (pro tip - it is - DO NOT stick your fingers there!!! And anyway, the cache is not there).
Of course all the previous finders had the advantage of daylight, which makes a huge difference. Don't get me wrong - I love night caches. Its just the chance of success is that much less.
Long story longer - I found it. Eventually. Retreated to the car to sign the log and... and could not extract the log! This is the first time that I have actually needed the TOTT.
Four more caches to find. I am going to be late home tonight.

Couldn't find this one. Checked all the obvious places and the general area. Steered clear of power box because assumed not really safe to open...
Needs new log book it’s wet and full took the last spaces using a green pen incase it’s not legible due to being water logged. Nice park and grab though.
Quick find on a lovely morning. Log is wet and almost full. Also seemed quite exposed but I replaced as found as I couldn't see any obvious option. TFTC.
After finding a few others in this series today Demainiac and I then arrived at this GZ. A nice quick find here thanks. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC!
I'm not entirely sure how I ended up here since when I look at the map it doesn't seem like a logical progression to come here from where I was further down the hill. However I pulled over not too far from GZ and walk back to the GZ just as the rain was starting to pick up a bit. After a moment of confusion and not seeing anywhere to hide a cache I spotted it in a slightly unexpected place. The convenient shelter nearby not only provided a place to sit but somewhere out of the rain without having to go back to the car - not that that was much further. After signing duties I returned the cache just before the rain really started coming down. I guess that's the end of today's caching! TFTC.
To quick on the DNF you've gotta back sometimes for a second look. Impressed.
TwigNZ suggested a caching roadtrip to Wellington with Mar1sa, which sounded like an excellent day out of the house! - a novel idea considering that I'm still Working from Home...
The downside of this plan is that the first cache was 2+hrs from home which meant a much earlier start than I am otherwise used to.
We had an excellent trip, and Wellington really turned on the sunshine for us - Twig's "solar panel" definitely got some exposure
The coords seemed a bit out as we approached, and so we started looking at an increased search radius, only to come back to where the compass was pointing after not having any luck.
TwigNZ quickly found the large American Plains animal in an unusual location that I have not seen used before. If this is the correctly location, then I am pleasantly surprised at how long it has survived here
Log was signed as Team MET (or just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, EtherLord and TwigNZ.

My day started at at 5.15am with a goal of caching down in wellington with Twignz and Etherlord Clan, the weather was amazing and we ended up with a few finds under our belt finished the day around 9pm and the shower and bed never felt so good as it did that night.
thanks for placing the caches and bringing us to the locations we visited. - sorry about the copy and paste logs

What a fantastic day to be out and about in the Capital (read Target-rich environment lol!) with a couple of great geo-friends. You just can't beat Wellington on a good day, and this certainly was one. Note to self: Time to start wearing caps again!
Part of our discussion on our journey down was centered around what our joint logging name would be for today, with the final choice being Team M.E.T (or sometimes just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, Etherlord and TwigNZ.
The River Road Series was actually the reason we chose to spend the day in and around Island Bay. By the time we headed off home we would have found all bar 1 of them as part of our 40+ haul for today. Once I had found somewhere near to park, we were taken straight to the hide location and there found the cache quickly thanks to the Hint. With the log quickly signed, the whole thing was replaced as found before heading off to the next location.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Found with @peadub while out biking on a lovely sunny day. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC
Found with 13yo. We were hesitant to collect this as the previous log was a DNF. But never fear - it is here. TFTC
Quickly spotted and waited for muggles to drive by before making the find. A bold hiding place! No number on this one. TFTC.
Cache number 700! I’m logging this whilst we celebrate with cake in one of the island bay cafes! TFTC
In the area this evening so before heading home thought I'd award myself with a cache or two. Quickly found using touch (I didn't want to be flashing a torch around due to the nearby residencies and the vehicles passing) on the second object searched. Retreated to car and some light to complete the log, and then choosing a gap between vehicles returned as found.

Good co-ords so no problem finding the cache, although it was well hidden. I was pleased I had my gardening gloves handy as I arrived at GZ shortly after a visit from a little dog (if you know what I mean). Thanks for the cache, another of the River Roads ticked off.
Another nice Wellington day to wander 'round the suburbs caching. Eleventh one in this series for me. Took a bit to find as unexpected location, I wonder if people believe I am doing up my shoes when I am wearing jandals? All is safe and dry. TFTC.
