Logs
One of the easier fines today, which is a delightful changeAs noted previously, the lid is missing and the log exposed to the elements.I have offered it some protection, so it should be right for awhile nowTFTC
Left early for a day out collecting some more of the Barossa Trail series. All caches were found in good condition unless mention in the log. Thanks to LB for the clever and tricky hides. Found 15 today and some I couldn't find, after spending considerable time looking. Will be back with help of another set of eyes. TFTC
Wasnt the place I went too look, disorientated in this part of the world. Spied it at the last minute, and left my mark. TFTC Lb, needs a bag to protect the log book as no lid.
Found with Team Waldron after attending a couple of early morning events. It was good to have a couple of pairs of eyes searching in this challenging series. Thanks for the cache LiB!
The lid is missing. So l placed the logbook beside the box. Otherwise it will be soaked in water after the slightest rain.
Thanks for the cache & greetings from Switzerland

Found with Shonky and Uni on a biking day in the Barossa. Some were easy, some hard, and some just no luck for us today. It was hot, dry and we obviously left our geo mojo's home today.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers and Happy Hinting

Southern Cross Caching
Set out on a bicycle ride with Uni and Medusa, and Southern Cross Caching.
Uni cheated because he had 2 wheels like us.
The day was hot, the caches mostly difficult and there were a lot of places where we just gave up because we were worried about snakes or dehydration.
We originally planned to ride from Tanunda to Gawler, but ended up calling time at Lyndoch.
Note to self, don't go bicycle caching on hilly terrain when the weather is above 22 degrees...

Uni, Shonky and SXC headed out to the Barossa to complete the bike trail series, and any other cache in the area which we came across.

Another day in the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
A lovely sunny day so we got the deadly treadlies (and doggie trailer) out and hit the Barossa Trail.
We only had about 10 to complete the rail, and filled in a few others around the area.
So many possibilities here, but we spotted it quickly.
This was due to very good co-ords so far.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19898. Day 9 of our holiday in SA and with this being the best day of the week weather-wise we decided a ride on the Barossa Trail was a good idea. Tanunda to Lyndoch and back with a few detours along the way. A great ride of 40km completed with the only worry being the magpies.
Some great sneaky hides found along the trail today - we had completed a lot at our last visit. This one wasn't quite what we were expecting but in the end it was an easy find.
Thanks LíB

Enjoyed the work that has gone in to these caches!
Thank you for the hiding, this is what makes the game work!

After a series in Blanchetown, we headed this way and decided to do some of the Barossa Trail that we could do from the car. A great variety of hides and some of them had us guessing. Thanks for the cache
On the way to Adelaide we decided to find some of this series.
Great and creative caches all the way!

It is a beautiful day in the Barossa perfect for a ride on the Barossa Trail and picking up other caches along our route.
Such interesting, cleaver and inventive hides. Thanks for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches LiB

I recently completed one cache find in each 360 degrees from home location challenge. I have now decided to continue and aim for five finds in each of the 360 degrees. Today I was targeting specific caches in missing cells for this challenge and a few solved mysteries along the way.
A great day of sunshine and a bunch of high quality caches made for a very enjoyable day.
Thanks for the cache LíB.

Brilliant an understatement. Second day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. Had no intention of doing so many but these quality caches piqued the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
Had a look on my walk but no luck. Went to the next cache then returned to this one. Spotted straight away. Camo had come off. TFTC!
Found on a quick outing with the dogs - It eluded us last time but victory is ours - TFTC
I wonder if this mint manufacturer knows what we do with their containers. Thanks Lib for the hide.
Day 437 ( Sunday 8th ) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Going to finish off the Barossa trail run we started last time we were here. TFTC
Another beautiful spot to just sit and let the world race by. Thanks for another cool cache.
I was booked into some Barossa accomodation for the weekend as I had a ticket for the ‘rescheduled’ Red Hot Summer Tour @ Seppeltsfield but alas, due to COVID it was ‘rescheduled’ again, March 2022! Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to have a relaxing weekend doing some geocaching and any DNF’s, I’ll be back to try and get you before 2022!
TFTC - Keep smiling

After the bike trails earlier we did some car caching with Csaba!, Malco, and SupaOrange. Turtle Out
In the area for some caching and bike riding. These ones we did by car. Tra La Laaa
Another set of amazing caches. All well crafted and placed. Caches found with SupaOrange, SupaTurtle and Malco!. This series has been sooooooooo much fun and we have done them on foot, bike and by car. Thanks
Riding the JB Trail with Csaba!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle.
Beaut day on the trail. Dusted off the old bike, pumped up the tyres and adjusted the brakes.
All set. Did the last section from Roland Flat, through Jacobs Creek and the finals of the series.
Found most but a few defeated us leaving us with a reason to return.
Thanks for this great series, LiB

A new year so lets go out and find some caches
Thought this was going to be a power trail.
I sure got that wrong.
This was tough if you are going out for a bike ride picking up a few caches along the way.
Some very clever hides along the way.
I have just got a new bike to replace the one I use to go to the train station and back for work and wanted to take it iout for a spin.
So this was more about picking up a few caches along the way and enjoying the ride.
I spent less than 2 minutes at each spot and I didnt come up with many finds between Roland flat and Lyndock given how good the hides were.
A lovely dy for a cycle but as usual everything is shut down on a public holiday in the barrossa.
That is one great track.

Enjoyed a walk along the Trail again today, this was the last section of caches to discover.
Some great camouflage that made each find interesting

Today we returned to the Jack Bobridge Trail to look for caches that we didn't find time for two days ago. After the first day, we had high expectations for the quality of the design, construction and placement of the cache containers and we were not disappointed. If at all possible, the caches we found today were even of a higher standard and contributed to a great caching experience.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of another very well crafted cache hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for another great cache in a wonderful series.

The weather was perfect for caching today and so was the series of caches we had decided to look for!
3LG has done an amazing job on a series of very clever hides - we were constantly impressed by the variety, cleverness and trouble taken over each one.
F-Llama and Miss_Bovine are looking forward to returning another time to find more along the Jack Bobridge Trail.
Of the 43 we looked for today, we found all except 4. This was one near the end of the day - we will return to look again when we have more time.

Although it was a stinking 40°C hot day, we wanted to use some of it for some outdoors geocaching, and so jesswrigley, gridge98 and I made a plan to head north to Gawler and Lyndoch, and completed a section of the Jack Bobridge cycling trail, calling into a winery along our way. On the return back to Adelaide, we called past a strategic cache for gridge98 to complete his second D/T loop.
We rode the trail at Lyndoch from Cache #42 to Rowland Flat at Cache #61, stopping off at a winery halfway. These hides were all well constructed, and some had us laughing, while others required us to hunt and make search patterns. It didn't take me long to spot this cache, just because some of the tinges of the container could be seen. Nevertheless, this cache's construction was awesome, and easily worth a Favourite Pint. Thanks 3LG!

After parking the car at lyndoch and having some lunch at the bakery we headed off to complete #42 to #61 of the series, all the caches along the series were very well hidden and throughly enjoyed finding them all. Its a series that I would and will recommend to caches visiting from other places. Not your average trail and a lot of thought and energy has gone into these hides.
A late plan made on Thursday night when attending the Cache in trash out event. Todays plan was to complete some of the Jack Bobridge Trail with David wazz and Jess Wrigley, although the heat was touching on 40 degrees still a great day, with a wine tasting along the way and 2nd loop of D/T grid now complete.

Found while out with Go Grandys,This is a great series with a lot of the caches making you work hard to find them.TFTC
Sorry a bit slow with the logging. Edvern and I here for the orienteering championships, and in a bit of spare time decided to do some local caches. Really enjoying the area. TFTC
Here for the orienteering and found with Tramper Ted. Working our way along part of this trail by car. Would love to come back and bike the trail. Each of these hides were very cleverly crafted and varied. Some took us quite a while to find, they really tested our powers of observation! Thanks 3LG and greetings from New Zealand.
Eye spied, Eye found, Eye logged, Eye left trinket. Cache replaced in hiding spot. TFTC.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.
Mr Felix started at #79 at 8.30am and finished at #1 at 4.10pm, he was unable to complete the series due to trail works where the track is closed to all traffic for 1km. Picking up a few other caches along the way he managed to complete 75/79 attempted caches today.
What an awesome trail and amount of work to place and maintain. Definitely a fan of the series, so creative and tricky, such a range of quality hides. Helped out with some log replacements where necessary.

Out with Hevwalker for a days caching, after completing up to #49 we returned to walk the rest of this fantastic series, starting at #79 we were off to a great start but there were many that had us searching for some time just from the fantastic variety of hides, all deserving of fav points, thanks for a wonderful series, challenge and at times evilness

Owl was out for some R&R with Mrs Sewer Rat, getting her to Bobridge Nirvana. This one had them scratching their heads and wondering if they were cursed, but Mrs Rat eventually spotted the clever little hide. Owl is flush with favourite points at the moment, so there will be quite a few going on this series, starting with this one.
We loved the trail and it was a great family ride. We started near the end and worked our way back to Lyndoch. I think though I will need to do this again with cacher as my family were seriously more interested in the ride and with some of the camos — they clearly need a few eyes. I guess it was a bit snake risky in places that meant a few were just quick looks. Loved the ride and will be back to do the other side and hopefully one day to find the 9, YES 9 DNFs from today! (That is the most I have ever not found.) Only one clearly having been muggled or MIA which I note Hurtle has already reported.
Heading out to Nurri with Sir_Spectre and getnict caching the day away. Enjoyed the craftiness and effort put into this trail. Some hides were found quickly and others had us scratching our heads
