After a fantastic lunch on site it was time for our get - together. Biggest turn up for a Cap.Coast Event for quite a while with cachers old and new here. Many stories were told and hints discussed. Great tucker provided by the CO. Thanks to all involved , Oh and Gotcha !!! Visited TBs and GCs,
My very first caching event. I had some great conversations, ate loads of lovely strawberries and was chuffed to get a truly mindbending lesson on puzzle caches. And of course met some of the CO's in our area that have given us so many laughs and taken us so many places we wouldn't have seen without their caches. Thanks for a great afternoon rainforestcookie. Hope your ducks go far.
I came early to set up but that didn't happen right
I worked all morning and though lunch
I attended event and got to eat
I cleaned up after event and set up for dinner service.
Still I had to stay (I didn't get a lift home)
I worked all night a gruelling shift too
They finally took me home at 8.30pm

Thanks to everyone who attended, We had a great day even if things didn't pan out as we had hoped.
2 of my 5 ducks made it on the day, the only 2 that made it to any event. Wrath and Greedy
Slothful was lazing away at Island View TB Motel, not in a hurry to leave. ( he has now)
Envy is hanging out in NSW somewhere with a cacher .
Pride is checking out the bird life at the Glen Isla Bird Gallery near Proserpine.
We have loved ready Wraths logs, thanks for that Bertoady.
The FTF draw went to The Toy Coasters when Ann didn't want it, I have sorted out the cache page now (new internet month now) for the new cache so it will be out soon (I hope).
Thanks to Katie at Kinka Kipper for sorting the food out for us.
We welcomed some newbies who went on to find a few caches that were alluding them.
Looking forward to our next event might be a CITO.

Looking forward to seeing how many ducks can make it tomorrow.
If you know of a duck that may be stranded try to collect it and bring it along. All TB's welcome, as are all Geocachers.
Ratdog is in charge of setting up a table for everyone.
I have 1 new cache that will be up in a FTF draw.
See you all then

I met Termingi yesterday, out on the Yeppoon power trail. He mentioned this event. I hope to be there for this and put some faces and cacher names together. Really looking forward to this. Good luck with your ducks! Hope they have great tales (tails;-)) to tell on their return.
So far I no of 4 Tb's that are out in the wild in our area with one more looking for a place to start from. Get out there and see if you can help them on the way. Another has headed north and one has headed south. lets see if any can make it to our event.
thanks Geocachers
