Quick check on this cache this morning on a morning walk. Paint is a little battered but contents fine. Recovered with fewer rocks.

Cache container sat out in the open so have replaced as per hint. Great view again and a slight cool breeze . Quick find thanks to hint and directions. Thanks for bringing us here

Spectacular spot. Stayed in Charters Towers last night and will do some caching before heading further north to Wallaman Falls.*The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Observed the no vans sign so parked at the bottom and walked up. The exercise was good and got to see how much history is up here on the way. Bunkers across the hills in all directions. Stop for a few closer cachers, and poked in a few buildings for a look along the way. Great views and a worthy stop.A short trail to the easily located cache.

Sat and ate dinner here the night before then came back to explore the next day and turns out we had been sitting right next to it. Geokid sniffed it out quick as soon as we were in the general area. TFTC.

Our last day in Charters Towers and it was the bikes turn for sight seeing, after our 4 weeks riding in Townsville, we have come to like caching on our bikes. Plan on doing a few hills but should be ok with the ebikes.

Got off to a late start to do some caching around Charters Towers with ilook4geo. It was quiet around town being Anzac Day. No problem in finding this cache and adding both names to the log. Cachedin NQ gets our thanks for placing this cache.

Just doing a bit of caching today with goingplaces2 when it was not raining too hard. Sometimes we had to stop, so didn't get to do as many as we would have liked. TFTC.

After stopping at the bunkers below, and listening to the A/V displays, we continued our trip up the hill.
We were able to park very close by and take a quick rock scramble up to the top.
A nice rock right at the top to sit on while we signed the log.

We decided to start caching a little bit earlier than usual - best decision ever as it started showering later in the morning and then it just rained all afternoon.
We completed the tribe series as well as many other interesting caches north of Charters Towers.
