I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. Not found since May. Geoching is letting us down with so many destroyed and missing Gzs

23-Sep-21
The tree is beautiful, and has been comprehensively mulched. Looked near the tree, but if this cache is consistent with other puppy trail hides, I didn't want to be destructive enough to find it elsewhere.

Cannot find it...

I believe I am in right place but it looks like the cache is not there.

Found this one very quickly. Log to wet to sign (or even to try to get out. The extra piece of paper added was soaking wet. I added a piece of paper with my log on it. TFTC

Last of the puppy trail for us today. We saw that it hadn’t been found since November 2019 so weren’t overly optimistic. But there it was! It had a damp clumpy log. We put a small replacement in. Many trees in the reserve have recently had bark mulch placed around their trunks. There is a pile of much near the tree so it looks like it will soon be treated the same way. This might make access to the cache challenging. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Out to find a cache to complete my November Calendar days.
I picked this one for on the way home.

As I approached GZ, I thought this may take awhile to find, but a quick look and there it was.
Great hiding spot. Nature is so good for Geocaching hides.

I retrieved the container and found that the log / paper was all a mess.
I replaced the log with a new sheet of paper, signed it and placed the cache back.

TFTC TheThomasTeamCachers and for bringing me to this park.

Walked around Gz knowing I had missed something obvious and there it was where I looked first. The log is a bit damp but the Fisher Space pen worked its miracle and the signing was completed.

Thanks for placing the cache.

Stopped off after leaving the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale, at Quarry Road Dural, for this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to grab some caches while on the homeward journey. This was the 9th of 14 finds, and 3 DNFs, for the day.

Parked the geomobile on Raimonde Road, at the junction with Marook Street, then headed off through the reserve and over to GZ. Searched unsuccessfully at some typical hiding spots, but then took a look at the hint which refocused my attention to an obvious feature. And a quick search soon had me with CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC TheThomasTeamCachers.

Also found old dog lead so put that with cache too.

Out for my daily cache and another trip along Pennant Hills Rd. Traffic wasn't too bad so made it to the park in good time. Had the place to myself this morning but then spent a bit of time scratching my head as to where the container might be. Looked in quite a few spots before going back to basics and making the find. The overlarge plastic bag was quite wet inside but log was only slightly damp. Still might be a good idea to replace with a smaller/dry bag.

Located at 9:45pm. My second unloved cache find on the same day! (21 months unloved in one day) This one was 8 months unloved. So earlier today I found By Gum which was 13 months unloved. I had wanted to make a find before work and decided to try my luck again at that cache; I proved very successful. So then all day at work I was thinking about this particular cache and how it would be amazing if I was to find it as well, and on the same day too. I descended upon GZ and straight away the neighbouring dog started barking and the muggle owner came out to investigate. Not off to the best start. I was stuck hidden in the trees for five minutes unable to move for fear of the crunching leaves giving away my position. I was then free to move away and tackle GZ from the other side whereupon I made the find. I think cache creep, whether natural or man-made, is to blame for this remaining unfound for some time. I signed the log and replaced the cache in a more suitable position under some natural camouflage. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

The wife of a Park Committee person waylaid me thinking I might be with the council as there were tree trimmers removing branches hanging over fences from the park. I set her straight and wrote the number plates down for her before we discovered they were council workers. I explained what I was doing so that 'suspicious' characters would not alarm her in the future.
Unfortunately I had a DNF anyway.

10-Sep-17
Second attempt at this one, but nothing...again.

07-Sep-17
No luck so DNF coordinate is at the lawn between fence or tree.. i am sure tree due to many limbs... but no luck...

31-Aug-17
Looked through every single tree and all along the fence and nothing popped up
I'm trying to drop off two travel bugs before returning to Vancouver but 3rd cache attempt and still no luck

A great cache for the geodoggie who enjoyed the run down the hill and the hunt for the cache. The rain held off and the hint was extremely true!

Happy to avenge this previous DNF.

Here this afternoon without the geopups but still a nice walk from the bus stop on Mobbs Lane.

I used the hint as I'd struggled the last time I was here and was certain where to look but after a few minutes I was still empty handed. Just as I was thinking of moving on I looked in a very different direction and there it was! Not what I was expecting at all

Wanted to do the Puppy Trail series but had to hurry as a massive storm was coming, complete with lots of thunder and lightning. There was the park mowing muggle to contend with, but he was hopefully far enough away from GZ to not be a problem. The hint was very helpful and the cache was found quickly. Duties were done hurriedly as the mowing muggle got closer. Then all was returned as it was found. Thanks to TheThomasTeamCachers for this cache.

We have replaced the geocache but it is in a slightly different position because of works in the park so the coordinates have been tweaked.

We are sorry to say that this cache has been removed and we will endeavour to replace it this week. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

After a lovely walk (without the dogs) we had collected the rest of this series but eft here empty handed.

The park was deserted so we had plenty of time to search.

We did find a damaged container on the floor that looked very much like it could have bee the cache - I've sent a photo to the CO.

We'll be back once we know what's happening.

04-Sep-16
An easy find in what is a nice quiet spot to finish off things for the day.

These urban spaces behind houses are really great for an area.

Thanks for the cache!

04-Sep-16
A little close to the back fence, but after reading some logs suggesting it might be a little south the hide was spotted quickly enough. Nobody using the park today, and nothing seemingly happening in the nearby houses. Thanks TheThomasTeamCachers.

22-Aug-16
I've done most of the Terry's Creek walk in years gone by but getting from No.3 to No.4 took me on a route I hadn't been on and included a creek crossing which meant throwing the puppy across as I didn't want him wet and muddy for the car trip home. He seemed quite excited about the new game!

As we approached GZ I began to look for possible hides. I found the cache before I checked the GPS. There was a dog on a balcony across the park which could see us and had a bit of a chat with my puppy while I signed the log.
Then it was out onto the roads and back to the geomobile near No.1.

I wonder if we went the same way as you, ThomasTeamCachers? We enjoyed our walk and hunt in the rain. 4 caches found and exactly 4km. That's tired him out - thank goodness!

TFTC # 1575 and 4/4 today.

13-Aug-16
After being thwarted by muggles at No. 2 I came to this park and wandered over for a quick find. Am glad there's no dog behind the fence. Is that a piece of fibro? Probably should replace it with something else. Signed and replaced.

Thanks!

After disappointment at Puppy Trail No.2, this was a straightforward find. Thanks TheThomasTeamCachers.

31/7/16. 12:33 PM. Cache #4065.
4th of 4 caches today - Mooney Mooney Creek, Eastwood, Carlingford.

I was able to find No.2 of this series just before the "Geocaching NSW 2016 AGM" event, but would have been late for that if I'd come here next, so I saved No.4 for after the AGM.

When I got here, there was a muggle in the playground and it looked like more muggles walking my way... then they got closer and I saw it was more cachers from the AGM, who had just found this and were walking up my way. This included Rainbow Spirit, who had some better coordinates written on his hand (I hadn't seen the CO's coord update at this stage, but the numbers were roughly the same).

Adjusting to those co-ords made all the difference and a potentially difficult find wasn't all that bad. I signed and replaced, my home 10km radius was now clear again. Time to head home; TFTC.

I had arranged to meet Noodles22 at another cache but joined him to try for a FTF at this one. Expanded out the search & using the clue found it about 17m away. Local muggles might get a bit suspicious with this one.

#2346 (3 of 4 today)

Wasn't sure where I was going to cache today, but my mind was made up for me when publishing started. Headed south and got the two right near eachother in Sefton - meeting up with a real name from the past at the multi.
As I was signing said multi more publishing started, and one right near home appeared. Well, I know where I'm going next. More company there and made the finds - well my companions did.
Four First2Finds for the day. Can't complain about that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Arrived here after my two First2Finds further south - I can walk home from here... actually, I have!
Parked and immediately saw a vehicle with a geocaching sticker. Looks like I'm too late.

Wandered to GZ and spotted a familiar figure - **Noodles22**. And he still hadn't found it. We were then joined by **Celtical** and more searching ensued.

**Celtical** finally found it well west of the published coordinates. But it does fit the hint.
Joint *FTF* with **Celtical** & **Noodles 22**.

We signed a bit away from GZ as we noted the neighbours were in their back yard. This could impact the longevity of the placement.
Cache replaced we went back to the vehicles and shared some TBs, then noticed that *#2* was published. It's only down the road so...

Living on the edge, and just like the song lyrics, all right.
Um, hmm, stood I front of the almighty thinking its on the edge of the drip line and then used Celtrical's helpful coords.
Now you had me, there was no way I expected it to be hidden over here.
A tricky hide, this could disappear quite easily, thanks for trying something different.

Coords 18m off, used the hint and spied an obvious spot.
