Pokemon - #001 Bulbasaur was transferred from Hide&SeekTeam to user Cats&Dragons
Temporarily disabling due to construction work blocking access to cache. I can see this location from my office, so will be able to re-enable as soon as construction work is complete (hoping that the cache is not removed in the process!)
Day 10 of our Mega Roadtrip. Coords were out 12m for us but using the hint this was the only logical place it couldve been. Its not something we are into but my nephew was super into pokemon when he was a kid so I actually know this one. Thanks for the smilie
Yay found this one. Last cache for the day! Nominee about so very peaceful walking around the city streets. TFTC
Easy to find cache
But maybe not for long as the nearby building looks to be marked for demolition
But maybe not for long as the nearby building looks to be marked for demolition
Definitely the easiest of the three Pokemon caches
I could see the cache from twenty metres away
And as I leisurely leaned on a handy leaning spot,
none of the hundreds of lunchtime muggles noticed me grab or rehide the cache
A couple of the more observant muggles probably were wondering why I was leaning against a spot in the pouring rain,
rather than under a nearby verandah

On a mission today to find 120 + as a team of 4. All logs signed Naki 4
Team is Blenheim Bear Thatsneat Tmninjaturtle and 2 Bulbars.
It was a fun filled day finding many sorts of different caches and visiting many interesting places.
Many thanks to all who placed these caches to help make it such an enjoyable day
Found this with the team "Naki 4" (Blenheim Bear, 2Bulbars, TMNinjaTurtle and myself) on our mission from Huntly to Hamilton on our hunt to 120. Was a long day but pleased to have it completed! Thank you for the cache.
A quick find thank you

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Heading north (Auckland) for the purpose of attending an event tomorrow afternoon... It's been a while since we were last there, and it looks like we have a lot of work to do.
This was our first stop... Despite the early evening hour, there were lots of people about. Finding a carpark was challenging, but not necessary... We had this one sorted quickly, thanks to a good hint. TFTC.

Spotted this while walking past today I wasn't even geocaching I just happened to notice it haha tftc
Came down to the tron for some work. The team went out for coffee and I demonstrated how to walk in circles with your iphone to them. TFTC
In town to get my bike tuned at torpedo 7, as it was quiet I thought I would grab this one without Peel in attendance, I had a good idea where to look so I used several caching manouvres to, A, locate the cache, B, retrieve the cache, C, return the cache. All the time trying to make my actions look as innocuous as possible. Mission accomplished .
Father's Day activity with the girls before the rugby. Great way to fill in the time!
A quick find for us tonight as we spend the night in Hamilton before heading to Auckland tomorrow. Log signed as b&p.Tftc Hide&SeekTeam. Find # 2992
Quick find while in town for the day and while out getting my lunch. *TFTC Hide&SeekTeam, #9107*
On a secret caching mission in Hamilton in search of 10+ favourite point caches, this was not one of them. This was my second Pokemon cache of the day, and with 3 lures in the area I had a great time! Tftc
Coordinates changed from:
S 37° 47.132 E 175° 16.785
Coordinates changed to:
S 37° 47.135 E 175° 16.782
Distance from original: 23.2 feet or 7.1 meters.
Quick walk to beat the rain, and double check coordinates - using a different device, was showing about 7 meters out, so updating.

considering this was around the corner from the last one i thought i would give it a shot, it was showing 10-15m out for us but there wasnt many places it could be so a quick search and it was found, tftc
Thanks for the notes about the coordinates being out. I'll recheck them later today and update if needed.
1992 Found on the way home late in the evening. Nice park and grab at that time.
Nice easy hide pick this one up after the event, night time the way to go no muggle around
No luck with the bulbasaur, but that's ok cos I prefer caching! Nice hide for central city, could discreetly find it with junior and dog in tow. Junior caught some pokemon on the way back to the car, so smiles all around. Tftc
HKCB sent the word out that he was keen on a quick mission to grab some caches north of Hamilton and whether anyone was keen to join him. Lucky for me, my wife was agreeable and I put my hand up for an early morning adventure along with Cats&Dragons, Kiwi69 and 11HPG11. We met at C&D's house at about 5:45am and managed to grab a bunch of caches and get back to Hamilton for a morning event at the Lake run by some visiting Auckland Geocachers. We decided to call in here to grab this cache (my last of the day) before heading back to C&D's place. The McCutchan clan joined us at GZ so it felt like nearly all the Hamilton regular Geocachers were at GZ at the same time so I wrote "everyone" on the log rather than having to write everyones handle on the log! Thanks for the cache.
Headed north on an early morning caching mission with HKCB, Cats&Dragons, IamMrWalker and 11hpg11 before a caching event at 9am back in the Tron with a quick group detour here on our way back to C&Ds to retrieve our cars & head home. Lots of banter especially with our very early start proving to be quite challenging for one of the crew who'd been at another event late the night before. Not sure what the local muggles made of us all descending upon GZ ... guess they thought we were playing pokemon Go .... possibly because some of us were playing pokemon go!! Thanks for the fun & for the placement, TFTC
An impromptu caching mission with Cats and Dragons, HKCB, Kiwi69, Iammrwalker and myself. We had a few hours to cache before needing to be back in Hamilton for an event. I had an event of a different kind the night before and was a little tired but who needs sleep when you can get up at 5am and go caching! We signed the logs as HOAC to save room. Thanks to the cache owners for their placements and giving us reason to get up nice and early.
After attending the event nearby we decided to stop at this one on the way home. Grabbed some Poke balls from the Poke stop while I was here, and caught a Pidgey. Oh and also signed the log. Time to take over some gyms now

Heading home from the event this morning so thought we'd better stop off here as we were heading past. Not to many people about this morning, and with a few other geocachers turning up we turned it into a geostop instead of a pokestop, and easily disguised what we were doing. Been tempted a few time to download the game and give it a go but haven't quite got there yet. Thanks for the hide.
Hosing down, no more.Found a green Hi-Voltage box, painted forest or jungle like. Is it inside?Locked, I reckon
my bad , yes i found Bulbasaur. But i thought there is a log book hidden somewhere, which i did not find.
After a recent attendance at a nearby event we had another small gathering here for a quick find and a small discussion
Well that was unexpected but then that's how caching goes.
As I have no intention of joining that other version of Pokémon Go this one seemed far more suitable and acceptable frame of mind.
Was just heading down Nawton Road when published so then only had to compete with the friday after work traffic.
Limited options at GZ so a nice and quick {FTF}
Thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement
