Making the most of this magnificent winter's day by grabbing a few bushland caches. This was one I found on my hike. Tftc
We are flying back to the cold NZ and we have time before our flight so decided to grab these caches. These were nice and easy finds. A nice walk we had black cockatoos in the trees. Thanks for placing these caches
Out to see some wildflowers. Greeted by the sounds and sights of red tailed cockatoos. TFTC.
Took the day off work to celebrate my birthday by trail walking and caching.
Such a beautiful day with good weather to be out searching in the bush.

Spotted a feather in the cache. Some believe that a feather symbolises hope or your guardian angel is watching over you
Apologies for the generic log but spent a great morning wandering through this area. Thanks to the Perths Hills Armadale Visitor Centre for maintaining these caches. All the coordinates were spot on when my phone settled. It was a quiet walk along very good trails/gravel roads..Saw 1 walker and 1 jogger towards the end. All caches and logs were in excellent condition. tftc
Hopefully a quick walk through here this morning, quick find, cache is in good condition,TFTC
I had to make a run up to Kelmscott so after grabbing a couple of caches and the adlab in Armadale, I made my way to the suggested parking point and set off for this series.
The trail was surprisingly wide and looked like it had been graded recently. I enjoyed the birds and the serenity of the bush as I made my way starting at 10 in an anti-clockwise direction.
I found 8 caches out of the 10 with this one all in tip top shape.
Thanks for the series Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre

Finally a day without rain means that I can go out and get some caches.
This is such a beautiful area. The wild flowers are just beginning to make an appearance.
Found without issues.

We were being quiet and we saw several Kangaroos. Added some trinkets- nothing taken
Had my sights on the SCC series since completing the small SCW nearby.
As my holidays have me staying close to home, decided to tackle these caches today. With the geopup and muggle mum in tow, we headed off for a very pleasant walk through the bush.
Managed to find all except for No 5 - which was probably my fault.
Thanks to the Armadale Visitors Centre for placing this delightful series

Teamed up with Photo-Play today for a couple of hikes around Bedfordale. A very pleasant walk here with still plenty of wildflowers around. All caches were found quickly. Thank you for the hide Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
Found it. TFTC Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre. Out roaming the countryside with papillon367. We decided to try our luck with this series. Great walk through this area.
Out and about doing a bunch of caches in Armadale today. Quick find here and my 900th find TFTC
Headed SOR today with the specific intent of walking around Settlers Common and picking up this series of caches. Had a very enjoyable time here today with the geohound; didn't see any muggles but did see plenty of roos It threatened to rain the whole time I was here but thankfully it held off and I could explore this lovely area of bushland without getting soaked All caches were located quickly and all are in good condition. Great paths here too. No problems with any cache, all were easy finds TFTC
Out for an early morning walk, collecting a cache or two! Beautiful winters day, stunning bushland. All caches in excellent condition!
Completing the Settlers Common caches this was the next find on our trip around the tracks... We took a while to locate this one & eventually DangerMouse09 found it much closer to the track than what the gizmo suggested

On an overcast day I headed out with my daughter for a bush walk that included finding the Settlers Common West caches. The rain stayed away for the first half but then started drizzling for the second half and did not stop. We were prepared for rain so no problem and with no wind it was nice wandering along in the rain.
All caches were found, some quicker than others, all the container were dry and in good condition.
Thanks PerthHillsArmadaleVC for the cache.

Good to see this one abiding by the rules. Also good to see my phone battery lasted this far so I managed to complete this circuit. Quite warm now so I’m very pleased I didn’t leave it until later to start.
I hadn't visited Bedfordale for several years and with a few hours to spare I thought I would challenge myself to see how wuickly I could complete the SCC series. I made an early start just after dawn and parked at the end of Settlers Road. Most were found quite quickly, with only a couple being a little bit more of challenge. I was pleased to see that all were in good working order. A great little walk in this patch of nature. TFTC Armadale Visitor Ctr
Doing the settlers common area! Nice and close to home! Just a great walk in the bush!
Really easy find!
Really easy find!
I wanted to get out and stretch the legs so decided to pick a nice series of caches in the hills to complete. The Settlers Common West and a few others in the area were selected. It was trying to rain while out on the trails but didn't really stop me. All the caches were found in good condition. This was find number fifteen of fifteen for the day. Many thanks Armadale visitor centre for the series of caches.
Found this but forgot to log it , great series we enjoyed it we worked backwards for some reason but we enjoyed the walk. A favourite point from us.
I hit up the regular caching crew as the wife was out of town, the kids in school and me on holidays.
KrabiBoy was the only one able to heed the call this Friday, after shelving our original plans for a big day we decided this small loop would be fine for our 30 a day exercise.
Found all the caches today with little trouble, a pleasant walk in this area with a nice loop of caches to keep us interested.
Thanks for placing this cache out here and getting us out and about.

AlliedOz messaged to say we had put aside today to head out and grab a few smilies, so we picked out this series and made a morning of it.

Hi there Armadale Visitor Ctr - with my son-in-law coming over to do some garden work I took the opportunity for a walk in the park. This cache was found quickly and is in good condition. This is an enjoyable walk taking me almost back top the parking area. This is my find #4245 - thanks to Armadale Visitor Ctr for this cache.
First one for the day. Trying to start a Christmas streak of 4 weeks.... thanks for the hide!
Found with Geo Aunties. TFTC. We did the FTFs on the other series and still needed to get back to this one. Nice weather today so today was a good day. Day 4 of the streak.
After dropping FlyingPigSquadron off at the airport we decided to continue on our way and Cache Armadale. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and the caches interesting.
Thanks Armadale Visitor Ctr, for your cache.

Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
So today, Clan Wallace, Me&B, megawat60 and self had an enjoyable walk through this pristine bit of bushland.
At this point we were picking up the last 2 SCW caches.
I am one of the M's in our joint log signature.

Teamed up with Clan-Wallace, megawat60 and m4yb on this lovely cool Sunday morning to take a stroll through the Armadale Settlers Common and collect some smilies. All caches were found quickly. Wildflowers are still in bloom and we all enjoyed the nice tracks in this lovely piece of bushland.

Plans were made to meet up with M4yb, Sir Megawatt 60 & Me & B to make an assault on the Settlers Common circuits. We did not think it a good idea to go on Saturday as temperatures of 35 degrees were forecast, it was a good decision as the mercury actually reached 39 yesterday . Today was a much more comfortable 26 degrees & we thoroughly enjoyed our gentle walk through this beautiful bushland. The spring flowers are still looking good & the call of the Black Cockatoos was a delight. TFTC
Spent 2 hrs wandering around these great trails with K.B. Thanks for creating these series.
Arrived at 11am and parked where you suggested. We walked the loop logging 10 finds. Very impressive signage on these trails. Despite the glorious Spring day we didn't see anyone else out here. Thankfully the only fauna were birds. There were plenty of vivid coloured flowers to keep us entertained between caches. Thanks for the series of caches Armadale Visitor Cr. It's a bit weird to me that you have never found any caches yet clearly know how to hide them....maybe you can explain your story in future hides of how you came to know about caching despite never having found a cache???
Spent an enjoyable couple of hours in the area tackling 2 of the Armadale Trail Series. A lovely walk amongst the kangaroos, kookaburras and beautiful wildflowers.
TFTC Armadale Visitor Ctr this is find # 1412 for us

Managed to con the muggle wife and daughter out for a stroll in the bush to get them closer to nature for a bit. Had the Armadale's Trails - Settlers Common West series in my sights as the description promised a 'relatively level' walk which would suit our purposes down to the ground.
Parked at the suggested waypoint and did them in numerical order arriving back at the car a little over an hour later. The missus was suitably impressed with some of the wild flowers about the place, something that is totally lost on me I'm afraid, however some of the views were quite spectacular along the back section.
Most of the hides were fairly straight forward with only a couple of tricky ones here and there. Ended up with nine smileys and one pesky DNF, not bad for an hours work I reckon.
Didn't get off to good start with this one being the DNF, I even came back at the end for another quick go but had to leave empty handed. On scrolling back through the logs later at home I think I might have been searching too far from the track.
Armadale Visitor Ctr I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 9 finds today so all is not lost.

Decided to take a chance with the weather after yesterdays atrocious state. Although overcast, grey and a bit chilly it was perhaps the perfect day to tackle the Armadale Tails series. All caches found without a problem and enjoyed the stroll with Everlasting and Jacobscrew. Thanks Armadale Visitor Ctr
Really enjoying this walk
We decided to head to this neck of the woods to grab some of the caches in this area and do some exploring. It was fun cruising around this area and we had a blast. TFTC .

Last one from the series, no sign of weather clearing up. But still a great walk and cache hunt. Thank you for bringing us her Armadillo Visitor Ctr
Eliktrisiti and I decided that a little bit of rain wasn't going to deter us from tackling some of the bush caches in the Armadale hills area before the weather got too warm. Others thought we were crazy, but we donned our wet weather gear and ended up having a really great day of it. This was the first of the walks we had planned for the day, and we really enjoyed the walk around the tracks, spotting early wildflowers and enjoying the antics of the red-tailed black cockatoos that seemed to be everywhere today. All caches were found without too much trouble, even in the rain. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for us to enjoy Armadale Visitor Ctr
PS Giving this one a fav point for the entire series - we had a great time out there.

Found SCW 01 Armadale's Trails - Settlers Common West. I’ve found all 19 of the Armadale’s Trails – Settlers Common series. That entitles for two favourite points. The 1st favourite point goes to this cache. No trackables to trade TNLN SL TFTH Armadale Visitor Ctr.
Back to do the western section of the settler series. Beautifl day and an equally beautiful series. All cachescfound without too much drama. A fave for a great series. Tftc Armadale!
Quick find whilst out for a day of caching with my mom Ooh Yeh. Lovely scenic walk trail. Tftc
Went out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns for a few hours of caching. Our main caches to find were all the Armadale trail ones. we had a great time walking along the paths and the weather was great today. All caches were found with out any problems. Thanks for putting out this great series. TFTC Armadale Visitor Ctr
Spent the day caching with Happy Jacks 55 doing the settler series. Great day for a walk in a beautiful area TFTC.
TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Cravo10 on our usual Thursday outing. We've spent a fair amount of time recently cleaning up a bunch of caches near the Rockingham and Baldivis areas so we decided to change things up a bit and head to the Armadale area to cleanup the new couple of cache series by the Armadale visitor centre, the Victoria cross series and a few odd ones along the way.
We were a bit unsure of what to expect with the poor weather that had been around for a couple of days and what was forecast today so we decide to play it by how things were on the day. As it turned out it was perfect caching weather, a little bit of drizzle and intermittent showers to keep the muffles away but just enough that it was bearable for caching and a nice cool temperature for the bush walks we intended on completing.
We completed the two settlers common series of caches quite quickly before attempting a bunch of the VC series to get the bonus box. Unfortunately two caches in the series appear to be musing and we couldn't complete the series, even though we tried to force the co ords by grid searching the area. Alas we couldn't find the ammo box, have emailed the CO and hopefully they can help us out.
A good day out if not for our shoes getting a bit too wet and making walking with water in the shoes a little bit fun. Thanks to the COs for the days caching. Cheers

Out and about with barnzy12 again today. Today the weather wasn't great to start with however this didn't delay out start at all. As usual Steve headed to work for a few hours and then I was able to pick him up.
The mission today was some of the new series published last week and as such meant that we didn't need to drive to far today. All up only around 50km for this Thursday's efforts not Too bad at all.
By the time we hit the trails the weather almost had cleared and only some light rain lingered. It was however still a little cold but once we got into it evening was great.
All caches were found in good condition TFTH TFTC

Closer to the track than we expected but an easy find. Love the west Australian bush in winter.
(chwiliwr team catch up log)
We had decided to come out here on the hope that it wasn't raining and it wasn't until the very last cache had been found and was on the way back to the car. However that last bit of the walk made us very wet.
After about the second cache we met PF68 and we walked all of the rest of the caches together. Also met Fernandogirls and Bittgirls twice along the trail as they were going the other way around the trails.
Found the cache without problems.
Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks Armadale Visitor Ctr for the cache.

Well I couldn't be more wet through if I tried Tftc and the series an enjoyable walk through the bush.
We received notification of a new series just around the corner from us. So we called Grandma to look after the baby and we headed out in hopes of our first First to Find. When we arrived at the parking waypoint, we were the only car there. We quickly walked up the hill to #1 in the series and were super excited to find a blank log book!
We claimed *FTF* at 112pm.
