Found today on exploring the region. Stoped at the local bakery and had a fantastic gluten free lunch at Berties cafe!Cache was an easy find and we got the trackable which we will move nearer to our home town 400 km away! Thanks so much for this cool cache!
Found this one with DarzeeDi whilst on our way to a friends 60th party on the coast. tftc Boeing 737. Nice little cemetery
On my way to a 60th birthday with Sax64, Boston and Banjo and had to stop and grab this cache, I love cemeteries, easy to find as out in the open, signed log and put back and hid for next cacher. Thanks for the cache awesome weather today
Reperio 15:40Day 5 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I travelled from Eden to Canberra, and it was another long but fantastic day of geocaching. As it had rained overnight, the bush land we had to walk through in the morning was quite wet, and so getting to some of the caches was made a little more tedious and difficult. Our goal for today was to complete the VB series, and then head towards Canberra later in the evening. Fortunately most of the caches we searched for were found, and there were certainly some fantastic containers along the way.Gratias Boeing737As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
#6494.We are on the road again. This time down to the beautiful Heyfield area to meet up with friends for a holiday break. We stopped at a couple of caches on the way to give us a good reason to stretch the legs and grab a breath of fresh air. This was our second stop and turned out to be a quick and easy find. The kids appreciated finding a larger container. TFTC!
On our way home from Canberra, we are having a leisurely day of travel, picking up caches along this road which we don't often use. We have never stopped in Nimmitabel on previous trips, but we are really enjoying the town today, travelling from cache to cache. Thanks for introducing us to these wonderful locations, Boeing737
Found on My return journey from Canberra, was nice to find something bigger than a bison. Thanks Boeing737 for the cache.
Heading to the Mega event in Canberra, I planned a few caches to break up the trip and give myself a chance to stretch my legs. After a quick search, I got the log stamped.Cheers for the Cache
Wow what a difference in weather! Came from the coast and a pleasant 17d now misty rain low cloud and 11d. However the cache was found cosy and dry, TNLN thanks.
Found It!A quick find here while passing by. First time I've ever been to Nimitybelle.TFTC
Another day another cemetery this one has alot of un used space and had a few visitors, I think I was the only cacher.
Very snakey looking place at gz but found quickly with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. The coords were accurate and cache is in good condition. Thanks.
frmen1 was still in the navigator's seat and directed me into here. We love wandering around cemeteries...they help us understand the past in an area (names, backgrounds, ages). A quick find in a snakey spot (none seen). TFTC
Caching down the south coast for a few days. TFTC.
I was wondering about the other spelling of this town. Nice to know.

Quick find in between showers, thought we'd missed the turn off on the way back to Cooma but seemed to get another chance up the road. Tftc
Certain internal organs of the deep sea blowfish contain a terrible toxin, distilled by the Assassins of Ankh-Morpork into the poison bloat. A very little bit of the natural toxin or the distilled poison, either ingested or put into circulation by a small prick, will make the victim instantly explode because all of the molecules in his body suddenly want to be many times bigger. Some high-class restaurants have a very expensive blowfish squishi in which a very skilled chef prepares the meal, making sure that it contains absolutely no traces of the toxic internal organs whatsoever. That way the dining guests do not become plastered all over the walls and other guests. To be on the safe side it is even better not to use any part of the blowfish whatsoever.
CaptainVimes and I are on a driving holiday from Melbourne to Canberra this week. We headed to wrong feature initially but the coords led us back. Thanks for the fun Boeing737
found as soon as we got out of the car. Second find of the day! Really nice cashe!
Day #2 [15-2] of 5 for my trip away. Today’s main goal was to get down to Merimbula safely. So in other words, not many finds today. The caches I found today were mostly quick and easy finds with two DNF’s. However, before leaving Cooma, I discovered there was a newly-ish published cache with a chance of a FTF. So, with the other caches I was wanting to find before leaving Cooma I added it to the list. I also found a few labs. Once on the road, I focused on caches which were quick park and grab along the way. When I arrived in Merimbula, I headed straight for the beach. It so nice to see it again. After the beach and lunch, I headed off to find some nearby caches including a couple more labs before checking into the motel. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC’s
P.S. Sorry, about the generic logs. I will endeavour to edit them at some point in the future for the extended story. This is when I have more time on my hands.

Thanks for bringing us to this interesting cemetery - we had a good look around at the headstones - we even found a snake!
Was down this way in November last year and collected these cache. Sorry for the late logs. TFTC. GeoJoe_
Pretty special location this, as the final resting place for several of my forebears including my great great grandparents, who migrated from Ireland in the mid 1800s. It was nice to spend some time here with Baristayan on our way home from a trip down to Tathra.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Camped down here by the river and watched the platypus swimming in the river on a cool evening with some other campers. It was quiet a pleasant weekend getaway.

Interesting cemetery. A bit bleak today. Have left a TB here that we found up the north coast last week.
I managed three different caching activities today. First was the event to get the Parkway bridge cache. Next I headed up to do the remaining Isaacs Ridge caches from the Northern end. After lunch I headed down to Nimitabel collecting caches in Numeralla and Cooma along the way. It was a long day but a huge sense of achievement.
Before stopping for the night I visited the four caches around town I had not done, and the three along old Bombala Rd.

Thanks Boeing737...

We were grateful for the parking outside the cemetery and backed our caravan into it, then making the short walk up to GZ. We are always amazed at how the various grave areas are sorted out according to the various denominations of churches.
A straightforward find.
After a quick trip into Merimbula to the optometrists to get some glasses repaired (It can be hard enough to find caches without having to do it with no glasses), we set off on today’s journey over the hills to Tumut. We enjoy this drive and the alpine scenery but were relieved that it was a nice sunny day. The climbs are OK, but we much prefer dry roads on the descents.
En route we cached on the highway, in and around Nimmitabel where we had lunch and in Cooma where we were limited due to the need to park with our caravan in tow.
An enjoyable and successful day.

With the Canberra Day Long Weekend upon us, the FFLL ladies and I usually take off towards SA or the likes for some caching, however with the unpredictability of COVID on the borders, we decided we would try for something a little closer to home. We decided that we would come down and have a crack at the VB trail around Eden and Merimbula. It was a great weekend away with both the FFLL ladies and it was nice to see the ocean and get some sun on our faces.
Collecting smileys along the way to the coast, this was our next en route. Lovely well kept country cemetery here. Nice easy find and we soon had our stamp in the log. Checked out a few headstones as we made our way out to the highway.
Thanks for the cache placement Boeing737 and thanks for the wonderful weekend away FFLL ladies Always enjoyable and always something to look forward to.

The Canberra day long weekend falls on the first weekend in March so we usually take this time to head out of town. So this year, the caching troupe of us and Rapidlywild decided to head to the Merimbula / Eden coastline to collect a few smiley's. Our travels took us through this way, so we decided to stop and collect the nearby caches in Nimitybelle.
Always interesting to walk around the cemetery in the country and this one didn't disappoint.
Thanks for the placement Boeing737
