Being familiar with WASP type hides, it can be a couple of different types of containers. Lets look for the first type. That was easy. Signed and returned. Brrrrrr, it's cold...
Quick find tonight with eltee291. Thought we would have a mini walk before heading for ice cream. This was a nice spot for it! Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, capperz!
Found this one tonight with hingis20 while on our way to Maccas for a choc top. TFTC
A quick and easy find. Thanks

Today is a simple get-a-cache day, according to my calendar. Which means the calender project for today must be the one in which I am getting my calendar up to 5 per day. It's a nice evening, so I decided the hills are the place to be.So I cycled to the end of Redwood Street and started walking. There are two archived caches nearby that I had yet to check. But alas, as you can see by the fact that I am logging this cache, both of those archives are no longer there, despite finds as recent as 2011. Given they were busts, I walked back to the bike and cyled over to here.
Well, that was the B plan. Instead I cycled to the water tanks. Get out the phone to find the cahe and... oops! Whizz back down the hill and take the wiggly mountain bike track past the pond to here. Cellphone... yes, much more like it. A quick check at the two obvious places revealed nothing, but the third place came up trumps. Yep, this cache is **not** archived!
Thanks to the CO for helping with my calendar project!

A quick find on a bike ride with Miss 6. Loads of busy ducks in the pond today, made us blush I think I accidentally signed as 13/5. TFTC
There was one major blot on our Blenheim cache map. It was the Reservoir Ridge Track. We were looking for a key to give us motivation to succesfully turn green into yellow. Not only was a key presented but a Whereyougo was thrown into the mix as well. The forecast was perfect for the job on hand with cool overcast conditions. At the foot of the Wither Hills we eyed the challenge ahead and off we went. What later developed into a strong and icy cold wind gave us a gentle push in the back and the warm clothing stayed in the pack until a higher altitude was reached. The fertilizer bins at the crown gave welcome shelter for a breezer, some food and a drink. After completing the loop our focus became some new placements and at least for a few hours the map looked a sea of yellow before we received notification of some new placements. And so it continues
We found a cache here before and it was good to see a replacement. A good excuse to walk through the tree plantings to get some welcome shade in summer and shelter from the cold wind in winter. Thank you capperz

We had two main reasons to head over the hill again today, there was still a small trail of caches on the Wither Hills we hadn't found plus there was the matter of a pesky Wherigo with a couple of waypoints still to be visited before we could begin to figure out where to find the final.
Most of the walk was in strong winds with the usual icy cold wind at the top which meant we sat in the shelter of the fertiliser bin at the 'Crown' for a break from it while having lunch before completing the loop without too much 'back tracking'.
Secondary to this there was some new caches published since we were here a week ago, three of which were puzzles which we had solved.
The logs today were signed variably H+H, HZ+Hm or our full names.
This was our last find in this area after a circuitous wander on the hills. The original cache nearby was probably our first cache find in this farm park.
Thank you capperz.

Stopped here on a big loop walk in the Wither Hills Park to find some of the many new caches that have been placed in the four or five years since I was last here. A familiar track from past expeditions and a quick find. Signed log, TFTC.
Its Easter Friday and I am home alone - so lets break out of camp today. Another great day for a walk - Wither Hills it is. So lets go!
Too many muggles at the carpark at Sutherland Stream so will check that out another time. Time to head back to Toby as its getting late. But enough time to try finding this one. I checked both sides before snagging and tagging this one. Cheers

Thx guys.. it took a bit of finding as overgrown by weeds.. but all in good order
Our last find on the hill today, once the gps decided which direction to point we found it quickly. Thanks W.A.S.P

Today is another Dot Day and I really don't have time to go and find something to convert it into a 1-Day. My daughter got married yesterday and I have to clean up the venue and host 30 friends and relatives of the bride for brunch. I was tempted to go after one of three FTFs that were listed this morning quite close to the venue, but they needed time for a walk which I didn't have.
Fortunately, yesterday I borrowed a patio heater from someone who lived in this general area, which gave me an excuse to come up to this part of town and take a few extra minutes to convert another Dot Day into a 1-Day. Today I have to return said patio heater which gave me another opportunity.
Once again I parked at the top end of Weld Street and took a short walk to GZ for a QEF, which was very similar to yesterdays.

I was staying at a friend's place close by so came out here on a walk after dinner to get this one. TFTC!
Walked fairly close to this one a few times but decided we better hatch a plan to sort it out....job done, tftc.
I headed across to the mountain bike park for a morning ride so this proved to be a perfect place for a short stop on the way back to base. The cache was exactly where I thought it should be but I still missed seeing it until I checked a bit harder.
Thanks W.A.S.P for the cache.

We were close and the rain had all but gone so it was an easy decision to head over to this one. A lot easier route today than the one I took to its predecessor. TFTC #9195
The rain had easied off as we arrived at the car - and even more so as we ate lunch. So we had time to sort out a good way to clear the hill by finding this cache. Usually we would have walked from the park we were at but a shorter walk was sorted and the cache an immediate find. It is a long time since the Wither Hills was a field of only smily faces for the SoBads ... although knowing the WASPs that may still change soon.
Thanks.
A revisit to the duckpond - - - I think - - - wherever it is. Actually didn't see one duck, I wonder where they were. Found where the cache was though, and signed the log. TFTH .
Thanks capperz for refloating this one. First time we went for the original we got muggled by a very excited and loud dog, and while plotting an escape some humans rumbled up on quad bikes. So we skunked off to leave for another day. QEF on this one today.
Out and about alone for some hill training - less than a month to go before Spring Challenge.... The other 2 team members had other things on - so I grabbed the opportunity to get up the hills again.
Left this one till I was almost home - and walked up the Mt Bike track.
Cache spied quickly - and signed in between Mt Bikers passing by.

I think this bit of the Wither Hills is my favourite, very rarely is there anyone around. Didn't even know there was an actual duck pond here. Easy find, at my leisure, tftc.
We bombom Karen's seat, then off to here.
It felt familiar, as the cache name I see now suggests.
Quick sign, then off to find some shelter from the wind for lunch.
Thanks a lot for the cache.

Out for a walk with B&W today to collect the newly published caches.
We didn't expect to find a blank log here having just got back from our two hour Mt Vernon walk.
Been here before but Bum had approached last time from the west on a bike so there was some new territory discovered for him.
