Another day, another maintenance run. Fortunately there was good company in the form of Sushilord to make the day fun and productive. The only dispute was over whether the Owlmobile could make it down the dry weather only road. The Fish had complete faith, Owl did not and she was the driver!

Arrived back to Adelaide after the June Long Weekend in Quorn. We decided to have an R&R public holiday Monday rather than fight the crowds on the roads.
After a nice walk at Brighton Beach with the hound followed by Brekkie at Juniper and Pine I was allowed to escape to collect some caches until 4 pm when we were booked to see Rocketman.
Managed to collect 24 caches in the time allowed which I was pretty happy with.
It was a ripper of a day, blue skies, sunshine what more could you want for an arvo in the hills. Saw a few Roos and some black swans on my travels.
Wanting to finish the day on #8900 caches I added a few drive by caches on the way to the movies. This was one of them. Nice quick find, sign and replace here. TFTC ironF.E_

A tree by the road and a cache in hand. Smile The block is sold so I wonder how long before there are some more muggles watching people stop here. [B)]

**Thanks ironF.E_ for this cache. ** Big Grin

25-Nov-17
I headed out with the intention of getting a quick daily cache somewhere around Mylor; I ended up having a DNF somewhere around Aldgate and then ending up here at Longwood. It was a quick find but the muggle neighbour was spying on me, somewhat suspicious.

Decided to go for a drive to Echunga on a lovely day stopping off to find a few caches on the way. [^] The countryside is looking so green and it was beautiful with the blue sky...a great day. Cool
Parked in a safe spot and walked back towards the tree. Found the cache quickly but didn't see any horses today. There were nearby residents out in the garden though, but they didn't take any notice of me. Big Grin

We left the city and did a wander around these lovely quiet roads & tracks and enjoyed the peace. Friendly horse but the goat must have been naughty and been sent to the back paddock, or was that him in the old truck? TFTC

16-Oct-16
For me where this cache is placed isn't as important as what's around it.

I chose that spot because it's right on the fence line of a paddock with a rusted tin man in an old car.
You also might see a Clydesdale and a goat around if you're lucky enough.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try to edit my geocache's description (and maybe the title) soon.

14-Oct-16
It took me a few minutes to find it. See a photo

Thanks ironF.E_ for the cache Smile

Mr Tardis went for a nice drive out to GZ to search for this new one. It started raining just as I got out of the car, thankfully I found the cache after a short search, so I didn't get very wet. A nice old car in the nearby field.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache ironF.E_

TT016 & I were heading in this general direction to do some late morning/afternoon caches when I got a notification about this new cache...off we went...taking a wrong turn and getting there the long way...we noticed a car had pulled up pretty much at GZ...oh!!! well we thought we will get a smiley for our efforts...It was Gizmo's Gang...but they hadn't found it at that stage...daughter (TT016) took her very pregnant body up the embankment & found the cache quickly...opened the book and ...........oh Freddo had been here about 1/2hr earlier...silver for us...TFTC ironF.E

We were at Gumeracha when we got the notification of this cache being published and had been planning to head in this general direction. (sort of)
Thought we might as well make a detour for this cache.
Arrived at GZ and male family members had started looking ... not too successfully ... as they had decided to leave the phone in the car.
Mrs Gizmo was about to scramble up the embankment for a "mother's look" when another car pulled up behind ours. It was hevwalker and TT016.
They quickly made their way up the embankment and TT016 had the cache in hand in a flash, hopeful of a blank logbook. Not so lucky ... Freddo had beaten us all by about half an hour.
Enjoyed the detour and the hunt. Nice to see other cachers in the field too.

with hevwalker we were heading towards Bridgewater
with plans to get a few caches and have lunch
when hev noticed a notification about this cache.
its not too far out of the way and no logs so far, ftf??
when we arrived there was another car and people near gz.
after a quick chat we discovered that they were yet to find the cache.
geo wife (36 wks preggo) scrambled up the embankment and located the cache in a flash.
DAMN YOU FREDDO!! Razz

Stopped by after my first ever FTF at [Bridgewater Fairy Garden,](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC6M6W3) hoping for a 2TF. Unfortunately the neighbour's dog went nuts barking it's head off when it heard my car door close, bringing the neighbour outside with a torch. I turned off my own torch and waited until the dog went quiet and the neighbour went back inside, but in this area when there is no wind the night is very still, it amplifies every crunch of your footfalls and every crack of the twigs you step on. So it wasn't long before the dog started up again, and I thought it best to leave this one for another day. If it was for a FTF I would have persevered, but a 2TF does not seem such a big deal, so this cache will need to wait.

A happy dance.
