Another day out in Toowoomba, but this time towards the east with a visit to the Picnic Point area and surrounds caching as we went and returned. We really enjoyed Picnic Point with its parks, gardens, lookouts and walks although some were quite steep. It was a lovely day for a couple of Victorians who enjoyed the sun, sights and caching.Thank you Toowoomba.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Toowoomba while the caravan is in for repairs in Burpengary. What a lazy day we had today. Didnt head out until nearly 2pm. Just a few quick park n grabs was the plan. That mostly went to plan. We found this cache today. TFTC youngoldfella
We are having a great time zig zaging around Toowoomba today. Nice quick find . Tftc
Out geocaching on a lovely winter day, what better way to show visitors Toowoomba than through caching? Quick little park and grab this one, left some swaps for the geokids and left it a little more covered. TFTC! ️ Found with Halflift ️

Today, the plan was a Toowoomba trip to hike Hell Hole during the morning, followed by miscellaneous geocaching in the afternoon and evening. The [Not Your garden Variety Type Hell Hole](https://coord.info/GCA4BZB) event had everyone socialising before we took the long walk down into the river bed, and then back up. We tacked on a smaller walk whilst in the area to see the morning through, before getting re-energised with a nearby bakery lunch stop.
I then headed around with Snickersallan in Rangeville, visited Duggan Bushland to catch views of Table Top Mountain, and then stopped along East Creek for a couple of geocaches. I then went solo towards Toowoomba's south-western side, making stops in Darling Heights (Japanese Gardens), Drayton, and finally Mount Peel Bushland Park. I also managed to visit Locations in two Adventure Labs: [A Selection of Steele](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/e72ac575-8f72-4154-9dfe-e2ce6015b053); and [Historic Churches of Toowoomba](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/HistoricTba).
I parked nearby and I made my way through the scrub in order to find this one. Nothing was really standing out at GZ, and then I moved around trying to spot some sort of "Y" structure. In the end, I spotted the cache (perhaps by chance), and it wasn't a standing Y like I thought. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Interesting that I just ran into Brislions on a geocache just before my arrival to this one, but the previous group must have just split up. I also returned to this cache later in the afternoon with Snickersallan, and I think I spent more time trying to find it again from memory, than my initial visit! Thanks youngoldfella for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A day trip up from the Gold Coast and after having lunch, I joined forces with Davidwazza for a few hours of caching before heading out to Leyburn for a targeted cache.
Found quickly due to the good hint.
Thank you youngoldfella for yet another smilie on our map today.

The wife and I were having the weekend away in Toowoomba and I found a few caches while in the area.
I parked close to GZ and the headed in while the GPS settled and that meant that I wandered around a bit before I almost stepped on the cache.

Eeek. Very overgrown in the terrain but found it after poking with sticks for a fair while.
Found after some searching. Someone left a vape in there, not sure if it’s a suitable prize for youngsters
Finding a few more in Toowoomba this arvo.
Racking up the finds as its International Geocaching day.
Perfect coordinates helped here!
Thank you for this one and happy geocaching day

Continuing to make the most of an early start I made me way to this one. A nice little spot, it wasn't long before I found the sturdy container and had my name in the log.

A day in Toowoomba for medicals and caching. Not too many today please as Iwant to make my #6000 at our milestone event party on 28th May, The plan was to do the Ad Lab near by, but first waypoint held me up, so instead did some trads and a virtual.
Nice big cache, typical ofYOF. Nice and green here now. Looks like a tree came down in the wet over the weekend. Loppers nearby with chainsaws working hard, but we were able to get to the cache unseen.
Thanks YOF for helping us get to our next milestone.

We are back in Toowoomba to look around a bit more and as we enjoyed our recent stay in the Jeffrey Motel and Caravanpark: noisewise and pricewise!
We admired today the many parks plus the views towards the Table Top Mountain: a new corner for us to explore!
Cache was found, and we signed the log.

There are several burnt Ys, both standing and fallen, but eventually found it. Good news for people who visit soon - I have already been through all the spider webs. Thanks for the replacement. TftC.
Many thanks to the kind greencordial who replaced this one for me to keep it active.
With owner permission, I replaced this cache as it appeared to go for a walk.
Y am I burnt out? Because I just finished a geoart!
Thank you youngoldfella for placing this cache for me to enjoy!

A weekend in Toowoomba with RoddyC, Hatsoff, GrannySmith1947, and Echocage1. RoddyC had done the SSE, some had to do it all and I had to finish off 8 caches. This was reasonably easy to find. Log signed and cache replaced as found,. All done then off to other caching. TFTC
Tftc! Had to dodge a few spider's getting to this one, but a nice easy find once at GZ.
I came to Toowoomba to visit a friend and Chamad joined me early this morning so we could have a couple of days of adventurous fun. He had some target caches in mind. I enjoy having a friend with me who pushes me out of my comfort zone to get the caches I would deem too challenging. Always lots of laughs when caching with Chamad.
Quick find for this one.
Quick find for this one.
A plan was made to meet Triple turmoil in Toowoomba to grab a few target caches. With a list of caches made we were off and grabbing a few as we passed by. This one was a nice little walk around to grab. There were some ground management people clearing and cleaning up the area. I explained what we were doing, turns out he was a cacher and was also going to claim a find now.
This was an easy find today, thanks for placing this one here, all good with the cache, we signed the log and replaced as found and then started back onto our list.

First there was the wind... then the rain... then the wind and the rain... then the fog... now I’m just cold and wet...
Found with no issue other than the aforementioned weather... PirateLinda kept the car running whilst I braved the elements...
Thanks youngoldfella for your cache...

Back burning in this park today 28/5 and tomorrow 29/5. Please be careful
Found today whilst husband was working at a local nursing home fixing stuff for inter webs and phones and what nots.
I walk down to the park and along the street jump the fence to the cache.
Follow the geo trail to cache.
Drop a trackable.
Put in a few swaps.
Took a lil lion.

Have been contacted by FlutterbySquishy and advised of this reduction burn. this cache has survived this type of fire before and should this time as well. It is had has had a few fires over the top of it now. Will keep an eye on it from afar. I have contacts in Toowoomba who can check on it for me.
