Reperio 07:43Day 4 of my little escapade to Albury for the weekend, and having camped the night in Wagga Wagga, it was time to head home to Orange. I decided to take a little detour through Old Junee, and Im glad I did. Some fascinating old buildings and history here. Gratias The Farmers 5As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Day 14 of my interstate trip. Today I left Oura and continued to head closer to Sydney but only got as far as Grenfell where I stay for the night. I managed to find 20 caches today and ended up with 2 DNF's today.I was looking in all the wrong places but eventually I stumbled across the correct spot.TFTC The Farmers 5
My banding trip to Charcoal Tank (West Wyalong) was cancelled due to forecast rain but I decided to go anyway. Camped in the car (good call as it rained on and off all night) and so after a quick bird walk (hoped for species seen) and a drive to Ungarie for the AdLab a slow trip home to collect some selected caches (mainly higher D/T or a series to complete).Back to where I had just come from looking for the dead centre of town and all quiet here. GPS was playing up but a quick find. Dropped my pen lid in the Agapanthus and thought I would never see it again but eventually tracked it down.TFTC The Farmers 5
Thank you The Farmers 5 for bringing us to the lovely little village of Old Junee - the rest area around the Community Hall is very nice and we loved the little street library too.
Stopped to get a new NSW LGA for me. quick find.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Day 2 of mogni and sir_spectre visit the ACT. Today was a much more relaxing day, only travelled from Wagga Wagga Yass. We found abut 40 caches and 16 ad labs. Today we targetted some caches to help with challenges and high D and/or T. Lots of cache guardians were seen, the bulls made me the most nervous. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to The Farmers 5 from mogni
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Wending our way towards Canberra for the Mega. after staying a couple of days in Wagga Wagga, today we moved to Temora to visit muggle friends.Grabbed this along the way.TFTC The Farmers 5
A fun short holiday with friends caching further from home base than normal exploring and enjoying new locations. TFTC
GPS is a bit out today was as usual over thinking this. Easy in the end
#21027. Day 6 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Our last day as we make our way back to Victoria via a few caches along the way. A lovely little break with great weather - so fortunate.
Our last find for the trip and a quick spying of the cache by me. We added our names and continued to the next cache - unfortunately at that one we had a DNF.
Thanks The Farmers 5

The last day on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are headed to Cowra and back. Today we started the morning around Temora, and headed homeward about lunchtime.
When we drove up to the hall we knew where the cache must be.
A nice hall and surrounds.
Thanks, Robmc.

A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Nice statues lurking in the garden.

TFTC. A nice quick find after buying chocolate in Junee and now heading back to Coolamon. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley
Heading to Parkes to see the Dish, thought I'd stop here as love seeing old towns. Nice cache, thanks for bringing us here
That is certainly a fun hide, and this area looks like a great community resource. TFTC!
Just grabbing one on this area today so this was it. Thanks for putting this one out for all to find
#6022.
The kids just couldn't resist the playground and braved to cold to enjoy the equipment whilst I went in search of the cache. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.
Back Story:
We decided to explore a little more of the countryside on a very chilly Sunday. As usual we decided to use our trusty tour guide - Geocaching. Our fist stop was Nangus and from there we headed to Junee, Old Junee, Wantabadgery and our last stop was in Adelong. We really enjoyed the green and lush scenery along the way.

A very neat and tidy Community area in Old Junee. Very cool corrugated iron artwork. SL at 12.22pm #8800 TFTC The Farmers 5 as we make our way from Wagga to Cootamundra gathering caches along the road. A minor milestone here.
A little search through the garden bed, replaced in what seems appropriate location based on previous logs.

This was the fifteenth find of 35 finds for the day. After finding ‘Friends Laugh Together’, Mizmaz and I started our trip back to Wagga Wagga and we aimed to collect as many smilies as we could whilst in this part of the world. I’ve never been here before and even though the community hall looks like a basic structure, I’m sure it has served the Junee community for many years and holds a lot of history. SL. TFTC.

Ticking off some smileys during a Wagga stopover en-route to the Wangaratta Mega, found ourselves with some bonus hides around Junee.

After a week with family for Christmas, it is time for this Queenslander to head north. A few stops to break the drive - and to pick up new LGAs. This one fit the bill for Junee, and a nice spot for a few minutes leg stretch and a few laps of the car.
Thanks The Farmers 5 for entertaining me at this location.

Great stop point for lunch though the toilets are locked up. Found cache, ate food. Now time to get back on the road. TFTC
I travelled to southwestern NSW for a six-day kayaking trip through the lowbidgee swamp and took the opportunity to find a couple of geocaches to break the car journeys. This cache was a straightforward find, being in a place obvious to geocachers and on the coordinates. Thank you The Farmers 5 for installing and maintaining this cache.
super easy find we thought it was on the old junee sign but a little hint is look near the animal there is two of them x THANK YOU FARMERS 5!!!
A very tricky hide which took us some time to find, mainly because the GPS was all over the place. Finally read some logs which gave us the clue.Signed and replaced. The cache is in good condition. Thanks for placing the cache.
This is a nice little area with its playground, picnic facilities and hall. We always like the corrugated iron artworks that seem to be a feature in the area. GPSr was bouncing round a bit but we soon found the cache.
We arrived in Junee yesterday afternoon and after setting up camp walked up for a visit to the liquorice/chocolate factory where we enjoyed a coffee but spent quite a bit on their produce. We also found two caches but in hindsight they were expensive caches!!
Today with our first full day in town we were keen to check out the older buildings in the centre of town and also visit the railway museum. Really enjoyed the museum which was greatly enhanced by the knowledge and enthusiasm of a lovely lady who showed us around and greatly added to the available information. The place is a real credit to the locals.
Caches also took us to a further range of interesting locations. Thank you to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches.

On my way to an event near Temora, with Black Bunny. We thought we might as well just find a few caches while we were out and about.
I was a bit concerned when my GPS turned out to be 10m out but it could be the weather. The real worry was when we were forced to walk INSIDE the actual garden to retrieve the cache. I'm glad it isn't my garden that people are walking all over.
Thanks, farmers5!

Found this one with Just a cacher while coming back from an event in Temora and grabbing a cache or two as we passed by.
A quick grab here to sign the log although the GPS had us out by about 10m.

A nice quick find here this afternoon. Patted the horses signed the log, now on my way to Wagga Wagga, thanks.
Great easy location but more above being a micro. Nice little park for a quick wee break.

Here is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan for almost 2 years now, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
We are in Coolamon for a few days and will increase our find numbers by doing a few series. It is not our goal to speed through we will take our time , and do a few nearby towns too. We are looking forward to the variety of hides we will encounter. Thank you for your work in placement and ongoing effort for maintenance of caches.
Trackables that are with us are

Geocoin club November
Worldwide traveller

Sydney the koala
Mini purple.
Will definately be dropping a few of these as we have had some since prior to lockdown and a separate note will be written.
Once again thanks for the cache.
