Out today for another day of caching with busy paws. Log mush and other full so have put a new write in the rain log in container. Thanks for the cache bumandworker.
Found with coconuts3 and placed a new log in very messy container/ log. Lovely spot. Thanks
Was out with Jag50 and Net61.
As reported in previous log we were unable to sign the paper....
It's a shame as this type is usually waterproof....I see it has lost the O ring.

Day 5 with Supernannny and Net61 in Nelson exploring this part of the country. Quick find while doing the ad lab. Cache is full of water and the log is too wet to sign.
Found it quite good but the logbook was missing and the cache needs maintenance. That's why a photo log. Tftc
Had driven son over to Tata Beach, Golden Bay so he could spend New Year with his friends and felt I needed to do a cache on the trip home. Had no luck finding one on the Takaka Hill I stopped for but had found loo paper and a poo but found this one after some walking in circles. TFTC
We had to cut short our planned tour and get back to the car so we could buy some lunch. Now I've eaten we can carry on. I never used to like olives but kept trying them once a year if they were on a pizza or something. Then suddenly I discovered tapenade and I'm hooked. Tftc
A few muggles coming and going but the coast was clear when I made the find.
Thanks for putting this here

How could I have missed grabbing this one while I was finding the Adventure Lab? I guess I have that much tunnel vision. TFTC.
A straightforward find. Would be a lovely spot without the car of drunk muggles nearby. Thanks for placing the cache
28 November 2021 12:05 number 10463. Ants! But fortunately not in the cache itself. TFTC
Glad to find this cache after not finding GC2JV3Z A Different Perspective. Sadly we didn’t have time for a picnic today. TFTC bumandworker.
Day 20 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Moved on from Port Tarakohe (between Pohara and Ligar Bay) back over the Takaka hill to Motueka today. Picked up a few caches along the way.
Once we were parked up at Motueka later afternoon I went for a short bike ride and picked up three caches. This one was a quick find. #4236. TFTC.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip from Auckland to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 155th cache of hopefully many ... we had been spent Christmas in Invercargill & were now heading back to Auckland, taking the scenic route ... we were now heading North, doing caches as we go ... had stayed the night in Motueka & decided on a short walk around the Estuary before heading to Picton ... be rude not to grab some caches on the way ... another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,889 for us.
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*Soon located, plenty more light rain at times today*
Good little hidden picnic spot!

A nice quick find thanks. All quiet at GZ.
Found as we moved from Motueka into Golden Bay. The weather has been the best since we left Christchurch.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

It took longer to find a tiny space on the log where I was able to squeeze my name in than it took to find the cache. Log is super full and unfortunately I had no paper with me.
Hopefully the next person to find can add some paper here.
Otherwise all good and we enjoyed a very nice loop walk here!

Great bowl of fries consumed at Toad Hall in my home town Then Richardinho & I found a couple of quick caches
We had lunch at Toad Hall, so popped in on this short walkway for a couple of quick caches. No probs here, looks like a Capperz replacement. TFTC B&W.
Heading home from a great weekend in Kaiteriteri with RG1972. Unfortunately I was a bit hobbled this weekend with a sore heel, but we got in some nice (slow) walks, a fun bike ride and plenty of good eating experiences. And the weather played ball. Thanks all COs.

Had a week in Christchurch visiting family, now visiting family and friends in Motueka area. An early morning walk around the inlet to find some caches. Thanks bumandworker for the cache.
Bit overcast today so headed into Motueka to clear up some of the caches we missed or new ones placed since we were last here, 8 years ago.

Short look here. 2 good hides at apparent GZ turned up nothing. Nice walk around the estuary though. Thanks
Also had a good look with no joy. Replacement certainly not there at base of post. Gone?
Out for a walk around he estuary walk way on this nice late afternoon. Nice and quiet around GZ apart from all the work going on in the background.
Cheers

With the G P S zeroing out in the same place it was clear where the cache should be though I suspect it's too far up now. Left in place a lower newer hide, at base of post and rock on top. T F T C b&w
A Saturday at our disposal and Autumn marching rapidly towards the cold of Winter meant I weighed up my weekend intentions, especially as I was to be working all day (and night) on Sunday. Although I've already traversed the Motueka river highway twice in the last 3 weeks, I decided that a repeat of my recent caching run would be in order, with mrs capperz along for a ride too. The leaf colour, air clarity and general scenery was awesome, yet again, and we had a great day out of over 400kms travelled (local??). Double figure cache finds and a few TBs swapped out to bring back over the hill. We headed out to Motueka viaTapawera and back via Whangamoas.

No luck for us today but then search was curtailed due to junior muggles turning up.
I knew exactly where it was! After a poor start to the day I finished the day with 12 finds in 15 attempts, including 8 finds in a row. TFTC and another fun day of caching
I decided to go for a walk along the Inlet Walkway seeing that I had parked my snail sheel right next to it.
Nice little hidey hole.
Cheers for the cache.

If it wasn't a wet log thwarting my attempts to write previous.. I must have grabbed the only pen in the house which doesn't work.
Will return and resign shortly

Its Queens Birthday Weekend so we are off caching for the long weekend. Todays route took us from Motueka through the Rai Valley to Blenheim. As we arrived there was a beautiful dalmation doggy straggling behind its own so we sat in the car waiting for them to be out of sight while we spied possible cache locations. Once the coast was clear we could get out and look and the cache was in the first place we looked. Thanks for placing this cache here for everyone else's enjoyment.
A quick find after having been in Harakeke on business.
All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache B&W.

Found during half a Saturday morning of geocaching, with morning tea at the picnic table.
Twentieth find of the day with NZDi. It is Easter weekend and we have decided to take a break. Today we travelled to Motueka in preparation for a day trip on the Abel Tasman track. Tomorrow we get picked up from Marahau by shuttle and taken to Kaiteriteri, from there it is on a water taxi to Anchorage and we then make ourway back to Marahau, picking up caches along the way. And finally on Sunday we will head back home dropping in at the Mapua Easter Fair on the way.
Today wasn't supposed to be a big caching day, but some bright spark at GCHQ dreamt up the Planetary Pursuit which put paid to that. Fortunately, I have almost 100 solved but unfound puzzles, multis and challenges in the greater Nelson area, so it is time to put them to work.
This cache was not one of the solved puzzles so it was not worth the full 15 points for the Planetary Pursuit. However, every little bit counts and this contributed another five points to the tally. We parked the car as close as we could to GZ but still had about a 100m walk to the cache. At GZ with no hint, I asked myself 'Where would I hide it?' and promptly discovered it in the first place I looked. Unfortunately the previous finder returned it too deep into its hidey hole for me to easily retrieve. NZDi was no help because she had 'tweaked' her back earlier in the week and could not get into a position to use her skinny fingers to good effect. So I resorted to slowly cajoling the cache out of its hole cursing my habit of chewing my finger nails. Eventually it succumbed and I was able to complete the paperwork and carefully return the cache so the next finder didn't have the same trouble.
