Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was a different kind of a day. The youngest Husky went off for a very long walk, meandering in and around the CBD area, targeting many caches and a lot of adventure lab checkpoints. Over 40,000 steps were walked in total, which worked out to be a smidge over 30kms. Meanwhile, the two elder Huskies opted for a more relaxing day to rest and recover, hanging close to base with a handful of finds in between some shopping and a cafe lunch. An incredibly productive and most importantly, fun caching day, which if including AL's in the total, made for our biggest day of finds ever. We are all thoroughly loving Adelaide. Finally a sudoku puzzle where I don't need to plug the digits into an online solver. Was a little annoying getting to GZ due to the prep work for the v8 supercars but soon found myself at GZ, and with bang on coords located the hideThanks for the cache
#24271. After a short bus ride on our way back from the event at Beaumount Common it was time for more caching. Troodles got stuck in and found this one while I was mucking around doing ... something (can't remember what). TFTC.
I'm not too flash at Sudokus but even this one I could solve! I even found the cache as well. It was fairly busy at GZ, but I had my cloak of invisibility on, and no one saw me. TFTC.
Today out and about on 219 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Naughtybunny and I grabbed this one after spending the day around the south and east parklands. Manage to grab a few caches today and also didn't get a few as well. We solved this a while ago and was happy to knock this off and have the smiley. Cache was found after a short search. TNLN. Cheers.
I like any puzzle that I can solve!I'm late logging this one and didn't make great notes, but I think this log may have been wet and I didn't sign it? Chookster will confirm or deny this when he logs it!TFTC Freddo
Finally got here to find this one - I think it was moved from a previous spot.TFTC Freddo
After being swooped a few times by a miner bird whose grumpy attitude matched mine this evening when I thought I was about to have a second DNF on this cache, I finally found it!!! It had become buried. Gotcha, you bugger.
Found on a very damp day. Walkers, joggers, and bike riders were all braving the conditions. Thanks, Freddo, for the puzzle and hide.
Nice to have this one found, it has been a years since I solved the puzzle, and I have walked past here many times without checking to see if there was a cache nearby.
Just as I went to write in log it started to pour! Not sure which way I should head as it is about an hour walk home. Either that or go to mum's, 15 min walk and get hubby to pick me up on his way home from work.

Probably took a bit longer than necessary to find it, but got there in the end! TFTC
In Adelaide and this was next to the office I was visiting.. so a warm walk and poke about and it was found.
Thanks to Damn Freddo for the fun and the adventure.

One of four puzzle caches found today in the hope of qualifying for challenge cache GC5MTHY which I signed in January this year.
I was wary of a trap here … D1.5, yet it seemed so easy. I’ve sought out all the D1s for this challenge and there are some where I just don’t have a clue.
A quick find a GZ; probably less muggles than usual today because of the inclement weather.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Freddo.

Found it with a geokid in the city today, decided to wander around caching the city. Stamped as The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Feels very good to find this cache after not previously finding before. I met the CO at an event back in Feb and asked him about it, he was very helpful, so when I went today it was found straight away. Thanks for the help Freddo and TFTC
Puzzle Find #404 (of 500 needed for a challenge.....this is taking forever)
Parked nearby for the COs event and tried to avenge a previous DNF. I dont know how I missed it. Today there was even a pointer to help me out! CP and I still looked in the wrong spot (he didnt remember finding it the first time).
Beautiful day for a walk, and so happy to add to my puzzle count. Whatever will I do when I get to 500? My family are hoping for some housework, Im sure there will be a new challenge... Cheers and thanks for the hide Damn Freddo

Spent ages looking for it, had the right coordinates but couldn’t find, hopefully can find again
Hmmm after meeting the Jedi Master himself , we started working on these type of puzzle finds for the first time. My kids are now ready to take on the next level thanks Freddo.
After my girlfriend solved a far more complicated sudoku for me a few days back, I found this one that I knew I could do without any headaches. Located the cache relatively quickly between muggles and enjoyed a nice sit and sign. TFTC!
Mr Dromaniax had a few hours to fill before flying back to Victoria, and what better way to fill that time than hunting down some caches. After staying in the city, he thought he would cache his way out to some bushwalking. The morning was nice and sunny with a little bite to the air but perfect for walking around looking for caches. After waiting out the muggles, the cache was found and the logbook signed. This cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache. Damn Freddo
Now staying in Brighton for a few days we decided to head into the city for a Pub Lunch. We took our bikes on the train so we managed to find a few other caches too!

Found on way home from event in the city this morning. Thanks for the puzzle Freddo...
Found after attending the nearby event in a bid to get to 2000 caches before the year's end. A quick solve on the go and some patience to wait out the muggles saw this one turned into a smiley nice and quickly. TFTC
Solved the puzzle quite some times ago.
Finally go to the location, the cache quite blend in and in good condition. TFTC.

Making the most of the nice weather I decided to jump on my bike and ride along Linear Park into town. I made a few stops on the way to pick up some caches.
After some lunch I headed back on my bike to pick up a few caches in and around the city.
Last one of the day just before my phone ran out of charge. Quick find before riding the 20 odd kilometres back home.
Thanks for the cache Damn Freddo.

Quick find! Great pick me up after a couple DNF due to the wet weather. Simple, but still creative enough to feel like we earnt it TFTC Sabo + JJ

I had to pinch meself to be sure I was still in Adelwaide
With coords to paw,
I made damn sure,

Lots of holes !! [:o]

.... All of them

Well this was a puzzle even I could solve.
Arriving at a likely GZ the coast was clear.
A quick search and Sudoku oops sorry I mean bingo.
Signed and moved on.

This was one of the first puzzles I solved when I arrived in Adelaide but due to its location there are always people at GZ, tonight no one was around and didn’t take long to find the cache.
After tea this evening divided to go for a bit of caching near home, and collect the caches that are easier at night time due to muggles being around in daylight.

We are only in Adelaide for a short time so we had to choose our Freddo caches wisely. This one proved to be a quick and easy puzzle and find glad to see they aren't all brain busters! TFTC Freddo
On a caching road trip from Brisbane to the Mega in Queanbeyan at Easter, with a slight detour via South Australia and Victoria to snaffle some of the southern caches.
My main method of solving puzzles for quite a while was to look at the cache listing and give it two minutes thought. If it looked solvable in that time, I went further with it, but if I was still scratching my head on how to start then I'd close the listing and go on to something else likely to achieve results.
Needing a puzzle cache within the CBD, this one looked like a contender. Yep. Snapped out the answer quick smart and scooted off to the final and very soon had the beastie in my hand. Signed the log and rehid it and on with a busy day.
This was a park and grab for me but it wasn't until I got to GZ that I realized that it probably shouldn't have been. Oops! Think I'm sailing a little close to the wind with my parking in this town! It's that Damn Freddo leading me to corruption! Hope my mailbox isn't stuffed with letters bearing S.A. postmarks when I get home!

Mr Team GBS loves Sudoku puzzles and so he solved this one some time ago while we were still at home in Africa. Finally today we got to come and look for the final, which we soon found once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the puzzle and greetings from Zimbabwe
Cache #2054.
"Cache Carnival" starts this week. One more reason to find some caches, especially the cache with many favourite points.
The puzzle has been solved a while ago. It must be the easiest sudoku I've ever seen.
A quick stop on my way to an appointment in Southern suburb. Across the road, and found the cache in the first place I checked. Hint is straight forward.
Cache container is in good condition. Signed the log book, and put it back.
Thanks for the cache, Damn Freddo. Easy puzzle, easy hide.

After a very early walk around the CBD before the muggles descended we jumped into the car to start ticking off today's list...another good reason to head off early is that parking is a breeze...straightforward find as the city was coming to life. TFTC Freddo.
Now on our way out of Adelaide and heading towards Victor Harbor in a roundabout way. We stopped off at this solved puzzle and after a short scratch around Eskies5 came up with the goods and a log to sign. TFTC Freddo
About the level of sudoku for me. Thanks for the cache, good hokey sculpture perfectly designed to hide a cache.
Unlike most Damn Freddo puzzles this presented few difficulties...and the find at GZ was relatively straightforward too. TFTC.
After having just solved a Super Samurai 13 puzzle cache in Queensland we felt that we were more than qualified to do this simple Sudoku, why cannot they all be this simple. Oh, we know, there would be no challenge and then we would be so easily bored. We kept looking for the sting in the tail of this cache, but no, it was all good.

11 days Australia - Melbourne, Adelaide and Gold Coast. What a great experience in late spring, while in Germany at the other end of the world the winter already begins! Everything went incredibly well - the flights, the overnight stays and the local experiences. We were able to prepare several special caches at home and we were able to find an unexpected number of caches right away, and most of them were in very good condition. And all the necessary answers have already been sent. Many thanks for this cache!
I do like a puzzle that even I can solve. Took a little while to find at gz as council had done a little work in the area. TFTC
Managed to solve a 1.5 puzzle all by myself! #Feelingchuffed
Went for a walk at lunch to this cache - getting in some walking practice for a wee hike planned on the weekend with the CO & more.
Found instantly thanks to the hint. Signed log.

Aussie Mary was very happy that there was a puzzle or three she could solve we just had to try to get this one, despite the crazy traffic....
Make a quick find once the GPSr settled
Thanks for laugh

Mary was solving puzzles last night and not knowing where it ended, thought we should try this one. Ben suggested caution, luckily Mark did a slightly illegal park, Mogni and Mary jumped out, found the cache, signed and Mary even jogged back to the geomobile. Lots of people hereabouts today. TFTC Freddo.
TFTC Freddo. I needed an objective to get me onto my Sunday run. A simple puzzle gave me some coordinates to head to, and thus I was off. Found without issue, so 2 goals met this morning. Now, the run home
Puzzle not too difficult, and cleared a few caches in this area, thanks Freddo.
Decided it was too early to head home on such a beautiful day and pulled over here. Hey look one of my solved puzzles I haven’t found yet. You have to love being outside caching any day really. TFTC
Always loved sudoku puzzles so this was a quick solve. Finally got around to picking up the cache this evening. Good place to spy on cyclists. TFTC
This Sudoku looked to straightforward that we did look for a complication or two. However when we realised that it was D1.5 we thought that we would not look any further for red-herrings and would look for the cache when next in Adelaide. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Freddo for the puzzle and the cache.
Ha ha easiest Suduko ever. So much so even I could do it. Nice quick find while picking up a few in the area. Thanx
Quickly solved and found (after a nice breakfast not far from GZ). Thanks Freddo.
A wonderful day for a walk. Mrs. S.A. Sewer rat and I had been working on some of the latest BFE puzzles and she wanted to get out and collect one and a nearby lock cache. So I picked her up and once again we found ourselves at Cobbler's creek for a little walk about. That done we headed to town where we picked up Anymules for a quick find during his lunch break. Now it was time for The Rat and I to continue caching.. [^]
The last time I came to clear out this area I couldn't do a few as there were workers everywhere. Something to do with some car race or something. Not today, only a few muggle dog walkers and cyclists. So a second walk in the sunshine to pick up a few more caches.
After overthinking the puzzle......just kidding. I wish all Sudokus started with that many digits.
Well what can I saw about the cache hide. It was as difficult as the puzzle. It took us nanoseconds to find this sneaky hide. A sort of Zen and the Art of Geocache Maintenance part 2
Thanks Damn Freddo for a puzzle cache for noobs.

The second of a couple "gimme" puzzles from Freddo today. A nice convenient parking area, a short walk to GZ and a quick find once there. Just the way we like it...
Cheers Freddo.
Cheers Freddo.
After solving this one not long after it was published, it sat in the must find pile.
After Brisal kindly offered to pick me up today,.
We went to Cobblers Creek and then into the city to pick up a few caches.
This one was on the must find list for Mrs Rat.
So today was the day. A quick find for me today. Tftc

Out making the most of a beautiful Adelaide autumn day cleaning up a few solved puzzles from my list. Loved the well-themed final location. Thanks Damn Freddo for the puzzle and the cache.
found at 1234hrs, had to go past & come back due to muggles sitting close by. We solved this one ages ago, so we're happy to have it crossed off. Easy find, thanks Freddo
Found it with TICE [Hiltsu, J&T, kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
Greetings from Finland!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Today we headed from Adelaide to Murray Bridge. In the morning we found some caches from Adelaide area and then few monthly trails and some other caches on the way.
