I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi FissieCrew
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Add me to the list ..plenty of places to hide but all empty..needs checking
Had a bike ride in the morning before the rain set in. Sadly there is no sign of the cache. As we are the third DNF in a row it is safe to assume that the cache has vanished.
Found on an evening walk while having an overnight stop in Kaikoura and driving down to Christchurch the next day. A nice sculpture. TFTC
That was a well done piece in its beginning. Starting to look a little worn but still better than nothing at all.
Heading to Wellington from Dunedin. Staying overnight in Kaikoura. Had time to enjoy the area. After tea went for a wee stroll around which of course included passing a few caches.
Another quick find. Tftc

With the boys wanting to play on the skate park again I decided to walk along the front and see if the next cache along would be an easier find. It was. A lovely peaceful spot this evening with just one row boat out on the calm sea. Tftc
An easy find today and glad to get a smilie for this one this time. Hot and busy here today. TFTH
Christmas Day walk around Kaikoura in the drizzly horizontal rain. Shame we missed the views but perfect conditions for muggle free caching! Nice easy find and lots of interesting points if interest in this area.Tftc
Have replaced the missing cache. Have emailed the C/O.
Beautiful statues.
Thank you gor bringing me here

No luck for me either , didn’t scrape out the gaps around the concrete base though but doubt that was the location . Great sculpture ! Thanks
After lunch we went for this cache. Very nice sculpture. The wood is rotten and fall in piece in some areas. We couldn't find anything looking like a cache. Given the high amount of end, we didn't look for long.
Had a good hunt around but couldn't find anything like the previous hunters. May be time for a check by CO.
Mainly targeting TMGT caches today but also stopping at others along the way.
Initially I had an idea what I might be looking for (without reading the cache page) but had no luck. Then I read the cache page and realised it shouldn't be that hard. I'll be very surprised if it's still there, but I am prepared to stand corrected.

We looked and looked but DNF. Doesn’t matter, we also looked and looked at the view!
Jackson for the find again but Eva was lucky and found a painted rock which we will move onto the next spot thanks for the cache
In between TMGT caches we saw this and had to stop. Found the freshly maintained cache, signed log, took photos
Thanks for an interesting cache (fav from us)

Hmm. I had a good search round the sculpture. I wonder if the replacement has gone too?
I couldn't locate it this afternoon but, as we're staying almost opposite it, I'll keep an eye on it while birdwatching from our window!
Loved the sculpture but no luck finding cache. Was not for lack of trying though.
Searched the area twice and after mugglers surrounding we left. Must be blind. Thanks anyway!
We are spending today in Kaikoura, finding TMGT caches, earthcaches, a couple of solved puzzles, and a few trads along the way.
We stopped here and took a few photos of the scuplture here, and of course grabbed the cache. Thanks for the reason to stop.

Greetings from Australia. Staying over the road. Ducked across for a quick find. Might log a few more along the walking track later this morning.
Edited to add: left as I found it.

First one of the day on a ramble around the peninsula for some high FP geocaches.
Found cache out in the open but re-hid under stones.
**In the end it was a walk of around 12 km and found sixteen geocaches with two DNFs.** TFTC

I headed down to Kaikoura from Blenheim today. The main purpose was the Geo Tour Caches. Found a few others along the way as well. No problem here. Cheers and TFTC
During our holiday in this beautiful country we came to Kaikoura. Today we had a walk around Kaikoura with a few Caches including this one.
Thank you for the Cache.

Boneybruce and I were stranded south of the Rangitata with both bridges closed, so our plans to get around all the TMGT caches of the South island were foiled, but did manage to get from Oamaru up here to Kaikoura today after one bridge re-opened today and we managed to get through the entirely NZTA generated traffic jam. Anyway, checked into my motel for the night and then came to check out some caches before going to bed. Nice hide here. TFTC!!!

On our first day and Kaikoura we made a little walk. Quickly found on our tour. TFTC
Decided to grab as many caches as we could on our way to Picton on a very nice spring day. Had to wait for some muggles to move before looking! Thanks CO for the cache.
Funny thing is that when we first arrived I parked right next to the cache. But with the phone on flight mode, I could not see the cache
With muggle friend, took a drive round the coast to Fyffe house who had not been to Kaikoura before. On our way back, discovered my error, and we were soon navigating our way to the hide.
A stunning day, thanks for the cache jofish3, no problems with hide

Thanks jofish3 for placing this cache
I probably wouldn't have stopped at these artworks if it weren't for the cache you placed...
Cute little container, even has Santa in residence at the mo!

TCTC. A quick trip north to Kaikoura with KSI. Talked about for too long - now we are here enjoying the area.
Out for a wee hunt after dinner. Really great with less people around.
Great cache placement and fav point from me.
Super sculpture.

After getting settled at the racecourse for a 3 night stay it was time to brave the southerly elements and get some caching done. It hadn't been my intention to to walk all the way across the peninsula but I found this cache could be quickly reached via Tom's (Smith) Track so I decided to make this cache find #2 for the day. Easy peasy. Thanks for the cache jofish3.
Out of DUNEDIN and headed to Nelson for a week and now heading home. On a mission to tick off our 2000th cache on this trip.
Easy find. Surprised it hasn’t been muffled!
Almost there, this is find number 1990!

Heading from Christchurch up to Blenheim for Mr12s soccer tournament...not a lot of time for stopping; but a quickie here whilst we stretched our legs and grabbed some lunch. Quick find.

Today on tour with my brother and his girlfriend we didn't find the cache but the coast is wonderfull. Thank you for showing and Greetings from Germany!
What;s with all of these caches missing?? Third dnf in a row, and all with a string of dnf's! Not the best go at showing caching to a newbie...
Like few other caches on this day. I just couldn't find it. Walked around the sculpted a few times.
We took the time this day to explore Kaikoura by bike and through geocaching. First we took the road by the seaside to the north. We passed lots of nice locations and there were also lots of geocaches. Or at least they were supposed to be there, but in fact half the time we searched a cache without finding it. That was a bit disappointing during the first half. We had at least five DNF’s. Going back we took the SH1. The first cache there was gone again, but the rest was found. Apart from the DNF’s, we had a very nice time during this bike ride. Loved especially the track near the sea. During the whole day 19 caches were found in Kaikoura, but this was not one of them.
Continuing my run of bad luck, walked 3 times around the sculpture sticking my hand into many cobwebby holes with no success!
Find with Celyn18 on 04.27.2018 during our travel in New Zealand, a beautiful country. Tftc
On our trip thru NZ we visit a lot of places and see many spectacular locations.

Pretty quick find this afternoon with eltee291, crman1 and coastalmartinis! Nice piece of art and a good hiding spot! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada. Thanks for the cache!!
Found this one today with hingis20, crman1, and coastalmartinis. Pretty cool hiding spot. We are on a day trip to Kaikoura to see the seals, sightsee, shop, and geocache of course. On vacation from VIctoria, BC, Canada visiting my daughter and her family in Blenheim. TFTC
