Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to meander our way to the International Geocaching Day event in a Toodjay. We have both taken the day off work to give us more time to get there and of course more time for geocaching . Our route was to come up the South West Highway and collect a few caches along the way, specifically between Serpentine and Byford. Brunch at Byford before heading to Armadale to pick up a couple of Adventure Labs . The next stop was a couple of caches in the Kalamunda LGA , because we have not yet got that one yet. Before hitting the Toodjay Road from Midland . The weather was overcast and a little cold in the morning and then the sun came out in the afternoon, however it was perfect for geocaching. All in all a great day of meandering, exploring and geocaching .This was our eleventh cache find of the day along these lovely back roads on our way to Toodjay. Nice and peaceful around here , it did take a few minutes to locate the cache though. Thanks for the cache find .
Found with axell33 as we were up this way for a gathering and picking off some caches along the way. Happy to have this one on the map! Thanks for the hide blingg.
Had some time to kill for a wedding just up the road so we decided to hunt down some caches. We stopped for this one and made a nice quick find and soon had our names added to your log. We returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Its always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing just fine. TFTC blingg.
Out n about with Mr converting some green to yellow to spread some sunshine on my map. Beautiful Winter day …Had some good finds TFTC
Full time nomads stopping in Toodyay for a while.
An earlyish start saw us tackle nearly 60caches and travel over 200km. A variety of hides some very long searches and and some quick finds.
Only 7 DNF's today. We did maintenance on any caches that needed it including replacing broken containers and full logsheets.

Woo hoo, found it. Charlie my 5 year old just notched up his second find ever. Thanks for the cache.
Making the most of a few days' off work - came out this afternoon to knock off a few more of the TbroG series. Another 14 successfully done so I'm getting there! A couple of DNFs on the way but otherwise the majority were quick finds, with a good dose of luck thrown in Pulled off the road and once at GZ I immediately spotted something suspicious - bingo! No roos or treasure here today though...but there is a log to sign so that'll do me, lol. No problem there, all good. TFTC
Still going strong in this series! Loving the variety already, no need for a break yet! TFTC #503
I normally try to write different log for each log but it appears the later groundspeak update has made logging caches the old way allmost impossible. or I am mssing someting. Took a drive to Midland from Toodyay today. Found this cache on my return trip. TFTC.
A spare day has come up before our next travels so off we go to hopefully finish TBroG! My first find today and I scored the previous finder's PT. TFTC!
Off with m4yb to hopefully finish the series, this time in Max the GroUte
Thanks for the series and smilies blingg

Thank you for this series. Only started it yesterday afternoon and had the 8 and 11 year olds in tow. Some beautiful views and a nice spot. We are looking forward to coming back and completing your series. Thank you for your efforts. I have left my pathtag in one and will drop a couple more when I come back next time.
I think there is no better way of enjoying the warm winter weather than coming out to find some awesome caches in the hills.
We had been here before for the Wooroloo Brook Trail hides, so we knew we could expect really nice views along the road.
Most caches were found pretty easily, some others took a little bit more time with only one DNF.
Thanks for these hides, we will definitely back for the remaining ones.

Out for a day of caching around the TBROG series with dezzabills and Lasarus_68. I managed to find 72 caches for the day with one DNF so all in all it was a good day to be out caching. Some of the caches had been found by dezzabills and or Lazarus so we all had a different find count for the day. Most of the series were found quite quickly with the odd one taking a little more time. The one thing we will have to do is return and finish off the series at a later date. This was find number four for the day. Many thanks bling for setting out the series.
Out with buddies hhheddy & dezzabills, following the TbroG series, making most of public holiday + perfect weather. Most caches were found quickly, and we enjoyed the variety of hides. Thank you blingg!
Out for a day of caching around the TBROG series with hhhedy and Lasarus_68. It was a cracker day to be out caching. Some of the caches had been found by myself some by Lazarus and some by hhhedy so we all had a part in finding them all. Most of the series were found quite quickly with the odd one taking a little more time. We will be back to finish off the series at a later date. Thanks for setting out a great series. I liked some of the caches more for your use of items that i never thought of using for caches... very ingenious. Thanks
I'm showing my age here, but when I put my hand in to grab this cache I had memories of the film 'Flash Gordon'. If you've seen the film you'll know what I'm talking about, otherwise ignore the ramblings of a tired parent. Anyway, the Geocrew found this after a bit of searching in obvious places. TFTC
Out for a few hours of geocaching this morning with acachea. We were targeting this series and this cache was a quick find. Thank you for the hide blingg.
I was cursing you at this one blingg! I spent ages looking in every dark corner under the logs and eventually asked a friend for help (thanks Jade) but she couldn't remember much about it. I had another look around and just as I was about to walk away I had one last look under a log and felt it. Was a great feeling to finally drag that sucker out of hiding! Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.....and the sore knees.
Headed out this sunny afternoon with pommieparkin2 for A nice weekend drive amongst the trees and along the windy road for a few TbroG caches. For a total of 22 TbroG's 2 bonus caches and no DNFs.
It was a strange day, never in my life have I had more trouble finding regular caches than the micros. But thats how it went today. Most of the micros were quick finds with the bigger caches taking longer. - Go figure.
This one took us a bit longer as it was well hidden and there were lots of possibilities. Finally I spotted a typical hide which revealled the cache.

It was another very hot day so park & grabs were the plan, but it does not hurt to have the drive through very pleasant countryside that you have never visited before. Thanks for the journey blingg & for this one which took a little longer than it should have to find.
Thank you! Headed off for a drive on a warm January day to find some caches with Photo-Play. An attempt on the TbroG series was the main target for the day. Happy to make a straightforward find here, though this one took longer than it should have if I remember correctly.
By this stage we figured out there were people just before us who had discovered these caches as they were logging them as we were finding them. Armed with that knowledge, we knew the cache wasn't any near where there will still spider-webs. Made finding the cache easy. TFTC.
pug002 found it. Made an early start as weather promised to be hot, which it was. TFT hides only 2 DNF's will be going back as we were rather tired when it started to heat up. TFTC's blingg
Hi blingg I found your TbroG – Clearing dry and healthy. TNLN SL TFTH. Image shows: Where’s the cache?!
Out in the back roads of Gidgegannup finishing off this series. I was determined to avoid any DNF's and was successful. 25 out 25 today. Thanks blingg for a great series.
Second time lucky here.
Second time lucky here.
Headed off early this morning with geobuddy Mark, but with no set plan as to where we were going, just northwards, and hopefully away from suburbia. On the way up the freeway, we discussed options and the area around Kalamunda/Mundaring looked promising, possibly even a bit north again. Heading out along Roe Highway, we though we would take Toodyay Road, then loop back through Parkerville, Stoneville and surrounds. As usually happens, we soon forgot the plan and just followed the gps from one cache to the next closest and before we knew it we were well into this awesome series of caches. We had the best day of caching that we have had for a long time too - some beautiful scenery, a good variety of hides, some easy and some more challenging, and great compay too. The only thing missing was a cold beer and a pub meal to break up our day, so nothing for it but to just keep on caching. We didn't complete the whole series though (geobuddy's man-flu was beginning to rear it's ugly head again), so we decided to leave the ones in the centre for another day. Great day out all around blingg, so a big thank you for all the work that went into getting them all out there for us to enjoy.
