Reperio 15:35Day 5 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I travelled from Eden to Canberra, and it was another long but fantastic day of geocaching. As it had rained overnight, the bush land we had to walk through in the morning was quite wet, and so getting to some of the caches was made a little more tedious and difficult. Our goal for today was to complete the VB series, and then head towards Canberra later in the evening. Fortunately most of the caches we searched for were found, and there were certainly some fantastic containers along the way.Gratias Boeing737As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
On our way home from Canberra, we are having a leisurely day of travel, picking up caches along this road which we don't often use. We have never stopped in Nimmitabel on previous trips, but we are really enjoying the town today, travelling from cache to cache.Reading the headstones paints a picture of harsh times in this area. We spent quite some time here. Thanks for introducing us to these wonderful locations, Boeing737
TFTC - In the area and located the cache. Another interesting location with untold history.
Caching down the south coast for a few days. TFTC.

Found on the way home from a three day cache hunt around the far NSW south coast, an easy find, thanks.
Day #2 [15-2] of 5 for my trip away. Today’s main goal was to get down to Merimbula safely. So in other words, not many finds today. The caches I found today were mostly quick and easy finds with two DNF’s. However, before leaving Cooma, I discovered there was a newly-ish published cache with a chance of a FTF. So, with the other caches I was wanting to find before leaving Cooma I added it to the list. I also found a few labs. Once on the road, I focused on caches which were quick park and grab along the way. When I arrived in Merimbula, I headed straight for the beach. It so nice to see it again. After the beach and lunch, I headed off to find some nearby caches including a couple more labs before checking into the motel. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC’s
P.S. Sorry, about the generic logs. I will endeavour to edit them at some point in the future for the extended story, FP’s and/or photos. This is when I have more time on my hands.

An interesting walk around the headstones, trying to read about the departed. TFTC.

Throw down was in place here (I don’t use bison tubes on fences here as they don’t stay waterproof). Someone obviously pinched my waterproof Smash soup container which I last placed here which is super annoying. so I’ve only left a small cheap plastic screw top sistema container here. Happy hunting!
Unfortunately wasn't able to retrieve the throw down as the farmer was on the roof of his shed and was eyeballing me most of the time. Zoomed in my replacement contained while his back was turned so hopefully he's none the wiser!

Log book wet and mouldy - could not sign but took photo as proof. Found with Joolay on a drive to Bega. Thanks for another caching adventure Boeing737
Thanks for bringing us to this interesting pioneers cemetery. However we were unable to sign the log as it was very wet - we believe the container is missing the o-ring.
Was down this way in November last year and collected these cache. Sorry for the late logs. TFTC. GeoJoe_
We are having a break looking for some sun and to get away from the constant threat of flooding. TFTC
Day 4 of my trip to Bermagui via the Snowoies. Camped at Tantangra Reservoir for a couple nights 4 trout caught looks like we got out just before the bad weather hits.
Quick find here. Log was mushy.

I managed three different caching activities today. First was the event to get the Parkway bridge cache. Next I headed up to do the remaining Isaacs Ridge caches from the Northern end. After lunch I headed down to Nimitabel collecting caches in Numeralla and Cooma along the way. It was a long day but a huge sense of achievement.
Before stopping for the night I visited the four caches around town I had not done, and the three along old Bombala Rd.
Thanks for the cache Boeing737

Hmm, well I couldn’t find this one at all, so new cache placed in a waterproof container with stone log. Happy hunting and enjoy this beautiful old cemetery
I will check this soon. Again, it will be interesting to see how waterproof stone paper is wet but we’ll see!
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Boeing737,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

With the Canberra Day Long Weekend upon us, the FFLL ladies and I usually take off towards SA or the likes for some caching, however with the unpredictability of COVID on the borders, we decided we would try for something a little closer to home. We decided that we would come down and have a crack at the VB trail around Eden and Merimbula. It was a great weekend away with both the FFLL ladies and it was nice to see the ocean and get some sun on our faces.
Collecting smileys along the way to the coast, this was our next en route. Love the old Pioneer Cemeterys and this one did not disappoint. A large cemetery block with what appears to be alot of unmarked plots. Thanks for bringing this one to our attention. Cache located and log signed.
Thanks for the cache placement Boeing737 and thanks for the wonderful weekend away FFLL ladies Always enjoyable and always something to look forward to.

The Canberra day long weekend falls on the first weekend in March so we usually take this time to head out of town. So this year, the caching troupe of us and Rapidlywild decided to head to the Merimbula / Eden coastline to collect a few smiley's. Our travels took us through this way, so we decided to stop and collect the nearby caches in Nimitybelle.
Always interesting to walk around the cemetery in the country and this one didn't disappoint, so well maintained.
Thanks for the placement Boeing737

#9649 - 3:55:00 PM; On the way to Meribula for a Convention, so decided to stop and collect a few caches along the route. All were found quickly and in good condition. I wasn't sure where I was headed as the GPSr seemed to indicate someone's back yard. The geosenses put me on the right road and I was soon parked and off on foot to GZ. Interesting spot and great work done here by the local Lions Club! TFTC Boeing737
Despite the wind we did enjoy visiting this delightful cemetery and to read of the people buried there. Cache hidden well and nice and dry. TFTC here.
Found & logged while on the road, while doing the mystery in the museum.

How lovely to see this pioneer cemetery so lovingly restored. Many thanks to the community - good job! Cache was perfectly hidden too, nice and dry. Three chocolate coloured horses in opposite paddock looked very furry in their winter coats - they needed them in an icy breeze. Thanks for all this
Interesting pioneer cemetery, history about early Greek settler, pleasing to see grass mown, cache a little tricky thanks for a telltale item, thanks for showing us history of the town which we have usually just driven through.
I love pioneer cemeteries. This was no exception. Thanks for the cache. I’m visiting from Perth.
Had a day off while the grandkids were at school in Bombala, so decided to go for a drive and have a look around Nimmitabel. Enjoyed a great lunch at the Bakery as well. Great history. TFTC
