Love this avenue of oaks. I am glad they survived the drought. Thanks Whitey Wiskers!
Good, easy and quick find. Didn't log on piece of paper but left a sticker. Someone may need to replace the log
Put in a new log as the old one was soaked. Reasonably quick find with the hint tftc.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 7. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. This was our final day, and we headed home from Armidale all the way back to Goulburn and Canberra via Scone and Musswelbrook. As this was the trip home we only stopped where the cache was close to the route. Still a few interesting caches to be found.
Thanks for the cache Whitey Wiskas

Day 7 of our trip. Time to head home, but with some time up our sleeves for a few more caches. This is the next stop for the day as we head south, and we had a nice quick find here. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
TFTC Whitey Wiskas !!

Day 2 in Tamworth heading South for the QBN Mega, staying at the paceway. Nice easy day picking up a few on the other roads that we did not do last time. We didn't see the other two down this road last time in Tamworth or I did not download the GPX files. Got both this time. Cache all good

Happily we were able to find this cache while around this scenic area. We started early and finished late to get as many as possible. Nice to see well maintained caches. Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
Today was a drive around the 'burbs of Tamworth, logging caches along the way. The caches we found were all well placed, and the for the most part had pretty accurate coordinates. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today.
All up we found 28 caches & DNF'd 2 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** A gold coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

This years drought might be the death knell for most of these trees [:o]
They don't look too healthy at all
The cache is hanging on to life though
TFTC and detour out along the road less traveled [^]

Decided to spend a few days in Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to get out and find some of the caches hidden in my old home town.

Having recently returned from UK it was a surprise to see all these oak trees. What a splendid avenue! Really impressive. A bit sad that some have died but it's not really oak tree climate here. We pulled up here and saw a spot that looked like it would make a good hide - and it did. Will give a fav for this one. Thanks for bringing us here Whitey
Tftc, took some digging around but finally found it, glad we had gloves for this one.
Found in the company of pprass.
Wouldn't have thought that they were 100 years old!
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.
