Logs
On holiday for 2 weeks in caravan, stopped at Geraldine for couple nights and thought we would go find some caches. TFTC
Nice quick find here today Thanks for the placement and the smiley. Alot of the caches on this trail have wet logs and in bad need of new containers
I decided to come and cycle around the tracks here and target the caches along. Unfortunately, many of them were in a sad state with wet logs, and a few missing. They would benefit from a CO maintenance run/cycle. I really enjoyed the ride!! TFTC!
Was down here a month ago and did the upper half of the tracks. Today in the drizzle and 6c temp I'll do the rest. Just one dnf today. Had to give up writing in a few as my hand got colder, wetter, and very dirty!
We are staying at the Top 10 camp so it was nice to be able to get on our bikes and end up on this trail. Well the scouts are doing a good job replacing the logs along here. Cache is all good. TFTC
Quick find after M after being passed by two trail bikes. I'm pretty sure the sign said that wasn't OK but at least they were not hooning.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
Cheers, Cympull.

Found this 3rd one for me today while out for a walk. Midweek and winter but sunny day. No muggles around. Left two of my heart painted stoned. Took one item to put somewhere else. A bit tricky to find. GPS a bit off or in slightly a different place. Sat and ate my lunch.
This one was a quick find Caching with Little Horrible and we're signing the Log Books as 'Little Wombles' TFTH
Walking the Orari River tracks between Vance and Bennett roads, grabbing a few caches on the way. Lots of hit objects in the area; TFTC
Another one for mr rattll as he wandered up the track a bit.
Thanks for putting this here
Thanks for putting this here
Finally found the time to bike the track and get some catches! Found with Conbat and Rangit4t3. TFTC
Two out of the four caches found today I needed help from the family. This was one of the one I managed to find by myself while the boys biked ahead. Tftc
This trip has been a long time coming! After spotting the long line of caches months and months ago on the app map we finally got here! We rushed out straight after holiday program pick up to find a few before dark. Took a while due to a passing muggle and her 3 gorgeous little pooches heavily distracting us! Very visible/not actually hidden so have tucked further in with a hat on
Another nice quick find. Continuing along the cycleway, with some hits and some misses today. Hard to keep track of which track to take sometimes. tftc
Second find this evening after walking through and along from the golf course where we are spending the night. Quick find - thank you.
In Geraldine for the weekend with BCD and it was a beautiful first day of Spring so nothing like a little Sunday stroll to get a cache or two! A lovely walk along the MTB track while the kids rode ahead. Enjoyed smelling the blossom on the trees along the way and even had to bring out the sunscreen TFTC BCD
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our weekend trip to Geraldine. We had been eyeing up these bike trail caches for a while and finally we have brought our bikes with us. The weather was perfect (maybe a little too hot at times) and we biked the Vance Rd to the Orari Bridge section of the trail. A few DNFs, and a few not looked for, but overall a successful day.
Another one that wasn't an instant find. The hint object was smaller than expected and hidden in the long grass. SW sniffed it out. TFTC.

#16681. We made hard work of the first few caches. Log too wet to sign (took photo). TFTC.
It was time for a wander along the G.M.B.T today starting from the southeastern end.
Thehint zeroed me in to the right one.
Cheers for the cache.

Quick find but way too wet to write on, definitely needs maintenance, TFTC found with heyhaynz
Back tracked for this one and we can now see what the logging has done. Mind you the track is great for our e bikes. Thanks.
Was initially planning a trip to Geraldine tomorrow (Sunday) to bike the river trails but forecast rain made me come today (Saturday). Frosty morning but a lovely sunny day. Bit late leaving home but all good. Will see how many I can find!
Quite a messy area. All the tree's cut down but stump still there. Soon enough found and signed. Cheers.

We’ve been planning to make a start on these GMBT caches for a while. This was a nice quick find - thanks!
Something rotten alright! The trails etc are closed while "harvesting" goes on - some big machinery been through here.
Day 9 - of our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara, & myself) epic adventure leaving Oamaru for Geraldine and the cycle trail today. Tobys at SH1 , and Zara at Main North Road. We are on Jack and Jill, with pedal power to the fore.
Another quick find along our way. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I are cycling the trail and enjoying every minute of it. The weather gods turned on a nice day - an excellent day off from the rigours of heading home after a week's geofesting in Oamaru.
Up from Mosgiel on a caching binge in Geraldine. Nice easy find. Beautiful weather and a beautiful spot. TFTC
I like to get close but not too close and then look around for the final search. Plenty of places in this location that could hide a cache.
Got to GZ only to be questioned by a woman about a lost dog, which was down by the earlier car park. I got the distinct impression that it was my fault!!!! The cache was in plain sight so I hid it back to where it should be (I think) cheers BCD
A good ride using both sides of the river. Had to go all the way down to State Highway 1 as the Orari was too high to cross.
It was time to do a bit of winter campervanning. Bbear44 was mad enough to join me. We took our bikes and headed into BCD country.

Out for the weekend with my buddy Nosynel bike caching on lovely winters day. Enjoyed finding all the caches we did today.....some more than others lol. Thanks so much for placing them made for a fun day.
Another quick find on the trail, Cheers
A leave pass from Ms KR and Ms KM. Where do we go? Packed up bikes and bike >40k on the GMBT. Slightly stuffed at the end, but found most that we looked for, and a had a great day.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

The leave passes for Karma Reprint and myself matched up, so onto our bikes to attempt to clean up the series in one day. 42km and 12ish hours later it's mostly done. Time for the last leg of the day, starting it at the finish. Cheers
