Oh no Weedle had over winter cocooned himself and now the Beedrill has flown off with the container.
The damage to the location is high enough that the container has been removed. No logs will be accepted post this date.

My turn to do a little safe cracking. Some jewels need returning to the vault. Followed some logs to find the spot. Scratched around before having another read and found the filmcan. TFTC
WooHoo!! cache number 35 of MATM awesome! coords way out on this one but found with the hints tftc
*Winter time dots are thin on the ground for June soon to be rectified with an annual caching trip and another push over the border ploughing new and old fields of Otago of it's green dots turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' tableau.* While I don't plot many caches each trip to Dunnas; after the latest challenges gobbled up all the available dots for 100mi around my caching centre, I'd rather save some areas for another life. One is never to know what the next challenge requires. I am wery familiar driving around Dunnas from a previous life visiting the outlaw old crone we outlived last century in Mollywood and visiting a new Oma this century in Dunnas. First time down this road, our course usually headed over Concord into Forbury Park and South Dunnas, so I got to see a bit of countryside away from the urban sprawl here. Knew from many previous logs the co'ods haven't been corrected and parked far enough from the corner to search near the hint. After a while a filmcan was soon in hand to sign the log. Didn't notice any clue for the puzzle so should I attempt the final - I will have to wildcard it. tftc
A quick 24 hours in Dunedin thanks to cheap flights, great opportunity to catch up with friends and find a few caches! Coordinates out by 46m - only found thanks to previous logs. TFTC!!
Cache was almost 50 m from published coordinates. The hint certainly helped here though. Cheers
I need to head out of town to collect enough caches with favourite points to reach the required for the last of the souvenirs. Dunedin fits the bill, and this weekend we are cruising around picking up high fp caches. A beautiful day for wandering around luckily.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Hint is more useful than coordinates . If going by wheelchair, it needs to have 4WD capability. Tftc
Cache found quickly after reading previous logs. Couldn’t read the clue for the series though - mostly rubbed off. Tftc
My co-ords were 52 metres wrong but looked at activity and widened area and eventually found
My co-ords had me 45 meters away, I found a container at what I thought was GZ which I thought was a cache, turned out it was rubbish. Widened the search area, the clue made sense once I did. TFTC
Sunny day after all the rain. Cache was on the road side. Placed back as per hint. Bit hard to read the number. Think I have got it right. TFTC.
Spent quite a bit of time barking up the wrong tree but seeing something back up the road revealed the hide.
Thanks

Great day out caching in the area, lot of neat caches, and interesting spots. many thanks the cache - Bitsprayer
Haven't been out caching for a while. A glorious summer day and not working for a change. Spied a few non smiley faces on the map. So why not. Thank you I had nearly forgotten what family fun this is.
In Dunedin for Christmas; set off after a hot day of last minute shopping (followed by a snooze, of course!) and about 9pm decided it was time to find a cache or 2.
I set out with no particular destination in mind; I was on my way back to my sister's but didn't feel quite ready to call it a day (night) so I decided to look for this one. I eventually fouind it using the W.E.K.A's co-ords.
Excellent time to cache - late in the evening of a Sunday Christmas Eve !
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Natalie; Merry Christmas.

Not sure what's gone wrong here. We went to the coordinates, but found no sign of the hint number or a cache. We wandered around for a while, then found the hint number, 45 metres away, which soon led us to the cache. Our coordinates were S45 54.854 E170 24.831. TFTC
Seems like the whole stump it was in has been attended to by the farmer ... so new spot in mind just need to redraw the hint for the mystery and then get this one out
Looks like it's not there anymore. Area was extremely wet still due to the flooding - maybe it got washed away.
I believe this cache is ok following heavy rainfall over last 48 hrs, however roads in the area have been affected. A state of Emergency is still in place - for upto date info on roads go to www.dunedin.govt.nz/road-conditions
A large portion of my caches have been in affected area and I am currently through work/voluenteering have to focus on other post flooding activities.
As I expect it will be at least 1 week until I can do effective maintenance runs to check and replace caches I apologise now if you were hoping to claim this for a dot day/Mary Hyde gold and it is not in its expected state.
I would be grateful for any comments on what needs to be done and help empty water and provide dry logs.

The third and last of this series for me apart from the grand final. The log was dry.

Having completed a five day tramp over "Five Passes" in Fiordland National Park to claim first to find on a long unloved remote alpine earth cache, our reserve "bad weather days" are now free for us to go caching. So, we hired a car for a road trip looping around southern parts of the South Island, including a full days caching in Dunedin.
This morning we left Dunedin heading back to Queenstown for our flight home. We travelled the coast road initially. This was a quick park and grab - Seff needed this cache for a challenge that he is working on. Many thanks, Natalie247

A group of 5 of us were visiting NZ from Australia in search of a five year old FTF cache on the 5 Passes trail. We had given ourselves a few spare days at the end in case bad weather held us up along the way, but Mother Nature chose to be kind and after successfully completing our mission, now had time to kill on our hands. A visit to Invercargill and a couple of days in Dunedin and it was now time to head back to Queenstown for the plane ride back to Brisbane. But the drive offered a few last opportunities for some caches, including this cache which would help me towards a challenge cache I had signed in the UK. TFTC.
Dropped a load of green waste at the tip and went on to grab a few drive-bys. Not sure what the enigmatic code in the lid means, but no doubt I will find out sooner or later.

Nice quick find as it was basking in the sun with no cover. Left it with a lot more camo on top. TFTC #9861

Beautiful sunny winters day so decided to do these reasonably new caches on an afternoon drive. Found all 3 so now to solve the puzzle! TFTC Natalie. J was most excited it involved Pokemon
A quick(ish) find on an afternoon's escape...quickish, due to the mud, and the craning neck of the farmer who was most interested in our nefarious activity! TFTC.
Another straightforward hide, though it was another good spot to put it. Had another chuckle at the clue - it's something I've been wanting to put into a puzzle for a while but figured it was too esoteric even for a Curry Puzzle. With the advent of a certain new phone app, seems like it's become common knowledge - I've missed my chance. Cheers!
Quickly found but I had to add to the cover as it was a little exposed. Didn't realise I would have to return later TFTC
The plan for the afternoon was to take Mrs Daywalk Senior for a drive up Abbotts Hill Rd and do some cache maintenance. Having some new P&Gs appear solved the problem of what to do afterwards, hooray! But someone else was already there... eveo7, cunningly combining learner driver training with a return visit to take a photo. Hmm, good idea, a photo. And a chat, of course. Then, on to the next!
(FTF) #71 @0806. Woke up when the phone beeped, had been waiting for this to come in. Up and off out the door to find more snow had fallen early this morning but looked good down south so took the chance. Found it and while I sit here writing this log it's snowing again and the road is slowly disappearing around me. Time to head back home for a coffee . TFTC and thank for the early morning wake up.
