We were on the Oosterdam and after returning from an excursion I took a stroll along the dock to find this cache,

Very cool cache! Great letterbox. A favorite for sure. Just arrived at our hotel and this was 400M away so off we went. We are headed to Montenegro where the caches are few so we dropped our last TB from home and picked up another. TFTC

This cache was found on our trip to Greece 2018. First part will bring uns from Austria to Slovenia, Croatia, to Bosnia Hercegovina. Today we will reach Montenegro.
Hier sind wir als Teil unserer Balkantour2018 vorbeigekommen. Diese führt uns auf dem ersten Teilstück von Österreich über Slovenien, Kroatien nach Bosnien Herzegovina. Heute abend werden wir in Montenegro ankommen.

Since our northern tour last september through the baltic states and scandinavia, we started the 365 in a row challenge.

Dieser Urlaub führt uns von Graz / Österreich ausgehend über Slowenien, Kroatien, Bosnien, Montenegro und Albanien bis nach Griechenland bevor es dann über Mazedonien, Kosovo und Serbien wieder zurück nach Österreich geht. Der Urlaub soll zwar kein reiner Cacheurlaub werden, wir haben einen großen Teil dafür eingeplant. Schließlich bringen uns Caches auch immer wieder an Orte die man sonst oftmals nicht auf dem Plan hätte.
Auf unserer Reise begleitet uns natürlich auch unsere Signalfroschfamilie Jones.
Hier gestaltete sich die Suche nach einem Parkplatz für unser CM schwieriger als die Suche nach der Letterbox. Diese konnte im Vorbeigehen entdeckt werden. Schnell geöffnet, Stempel in unser Letterboxbuch gestempelt, unsere Namen im Logbuch eingetragen, und schon kann es weiter gehen
Danke für diese schnelle Letterbox an einem geschichtlich interessantem Bahnhof.

This holidaytrip takes us from Graz / Austria via Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania to Greece before returning to Austria via Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia.
The holiday should not be only for geocaching, but we have a large part scheduled for it. Finally, caches sometimes bring us to places you would not otherwise often have on the plan.
Of course, on our journey our signal frog family Jones comes with us.
Here, finding a parking space for our CM was more difficult than finding the letterbox. The Letterbox could be discovered in passing. Opened quickly, stamped in our letterbox book, signed the logbook, and ready for take off

Nice easy find for the first one of the day.

Heute sind wir von Dubrovnik nach Markaska gefahren. Unterwegs haben wir öfters mal angehalten um die ein oder andere Dose zu suchen. Diese war eine davon.
Das Döschen und den Schlüssel konnten wir schnell finden.
Vielen Dank für den Cache und viele Grüße aus Deutschland.

Auf dem Weg nach Makarska wurden einige Döschen gesucht, gefunden und natürlich auch ins Logbuch eingetragen. Vielen Dank an alle Owner für das Hegen und Pflegen und Zeigen von sehr schönen Plätzen.

Auf dem Abweg nach Makarska sammelte ich mit bineundyves und Regina32 die eine oder andere Dose ein. Viele Grüße aus Deutschland. Hier gibt es ein Schleifchen weil Letterbox.

*** THE TRIP ***
We are 4 geocachers (& friends ^^) from France.
We did a wonderful road trip in Croatia from the 8th to the 15th of april.
We crossed Croatia from Zadar to Dubrovnik with stages in Makarska, Split, Plivitce, Krka, Cavtat, ... so many wonderful places!
Bonus : We validated 2 others countries (Bosnia and Montenegro).
We brought back lot of incredible memories and left 100 logs.
Thanks to all geocachers who led us to these incredible points of view and landscapes. With your help, we discovered the best Croatia!

*** THE CACHE ***
On our way from Split to Dubrovnik we could not miss this letterbox so high rated! The risk whhen there is so much Fav Points is to be disappointed. Actually, we were not. it is a very nice idea that fit perfectly its environment. We really enjoyed it. The plastic box reminds me one of my cache (the closest to my home). With no doubt, I add another deserved Fav Point!

As it turned out this was my last one for the day. What a way to end the day and this beautiful city. I found the key and signed the log. Then it was good bye to two TB’s that have been riding along for both a short time and a long one. Said good bye to them, signed the log and replaced as found. A favorite point here for the creativity. Creativity is tops in my book. Thanks for placing and hello from Kansas. TFTF

Our small ship was docked nearby, but this was a nice little walk early on Easter morning to get around the fences and security. The find was fun. Similar one in Split had no key and was disabled so I was happy to find the key box here.

Avec Bart38110, à l'occasion d'un grand voyage de 3 semaines en Europe du Sud avec comme objectif, de valider 9 nouveaux pays dans les statistiques personnels.

18ème jour de voyage. Aujourd'hui, on fait la route entre Budva et Neum en passant par Kotor, Cetinje, Trebinje, et Dubrovnik.

Als ich an den Koordinaten angekommen bin, musste ich erstmal ein Wort übersetzen.
Nachdem das Wort übersetzt war könnte die Suche starten.
Dann hatte ich das Versteck schnell erblickt.

We were really excited about getting a letterbox cache but when we got there a man was sat at the location drinking a beer. A little bit of patience and a coffee later and we returned to the spot unhindered. Great idea. Found with Piranhallama, TFTC!

This was our last cache in Dubrovnik / Gruz. Bevore we went for a walk to Dubrovniks old town with its famous city wall. The medieval city wall of our home town Wismar was 1 km longer. TftC

Quite simply a great cache. We walked up and immediately knew what to do, and of course it's always nice to get a SideTracked cache in an another country!

I made a glorious return to Dubrovnik today, five years since my last visit. I just wanted to get one last cache before my ship pulls out of port. I hope I return again some day!

Today we are leaving this nice city but not before doing some caching . Nice place and a really nice letterbox!

After almost four hours bus trip from Kotor (including two border stops, each 45 min), we arrived at Dubrovnik Bus Station. Could there be a better start to visit a city respectively a country than finding a geocache? This one is just around the corner, easy to find and cleverly made. As a railway enthusiast I was also pleased to learn something about the history of this place. Unfortunately no more trains here.

Never mess with a geocacher. They know the best places to hide a body!

The best to do in Dubrovnik is not in the old town, it is here! I put a TB inside who want to go to Sidney. Good luck. Tftc

Double luck to find this cache! One we were diverted around the old road from the north as high winds shut the bridge which lead us right to the cache as we drove around. Two there was a parking space very near to GZ allowing me to park up and find this cache!
Spotted something that is cleaver, found the key and got,hold,of the cache. Did the deeds and returned all back safely after exchanging stamps!

This was delightful! I passed right by the cache at first because I thought it looked too official to be what I was searching for-- but I was happily surprised, both by the hide and by the very well-kept cache. This is one of only a few letterbox hybrids I've ever run across, and I'm glad to give it a favorite point.

P.S. I believe I dropped the TB Happy Boeddhi in this cache, and I took with me another Signal the Frog TB!

Found during our visit with Costa Deliziosa. Very good idea.

While waiting for the bus back to our hotel I checked c:geo and this letterbox showed up.
Very interesting to consider that here was a trainstation once.
