Yes, found the fishing line with no attachment. Maybe somebody or something else souvenired it?
Unloved cache number four. Searched a while at GZ, before the cache showed up 'hidden in the open'.
Enjoyed driving the back roads through places I’d never been to before, was a great day
#6067.
This was the first cache for today, exploring the backroads of the countryside. The eldest of the girls spotted it first, here height counted in her advantage. There was no one around on this cold and rainy morning and we found the cache without any trouble. TFTC!
Lady Thrips asked for some peace and quiet at home and we jumped at the opportunity for a day of caching. The weather didn't fully comply, providing us with some real chilly weather and a couple of drizzles along the way, but we dressed accordingly and didn't allow it to deter us. We had a successful day with 15 finds and only 2 DNF's.

Searching for a while, and was just about to give up. Then I looked from the right direction and spotted it.
Not too quick a find but got it eventually, Had a chat with the neighbor, was a little concerned about our motives but was soon OK when we explained ourselves. Cache OK
This one took a little longer than expected, but was found within 10 minutes. Thanks for the hide, all appears to be in good working order!
Took us a bit longer than it should have but eventually this was found. TFTC
What a great location for a cache. You get a fav point for bringing us here. Lovely little war memorial church - the bees did put me off at the start but got the cache TFTC F5.
Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment The Farmers 5
Some great hiding spots here, CIH soon enough. Love the little Church

The next stop on my loop of remote places, stopped to grab this one. I don't think that gate would get too much use these days!

We felt the need to go on a cache run, so we looked over our area and made a plan.
Cache found after a short search, signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, The Farmers 5, for us and others to find.

I travelled to Victoria for the Great Victoria Bike Ride and took the opportunity to pick up a few geocaches. This one was a reasonably straightforward find, being in an obvious position on the coordinates. Thank you The Farmers 5 for installing and maintaining this cache.
Geo kid found this one! (Good find - will make for a much happier car trip now.)
Was looking for something more dastardly but found this one quite easily after the eyes adjusted to the great cammo.
I noticed there was an event in Jugiong this Saturday, and had decided to go to that, then noticed one the next day, with overnight camping beforehand, at Oura Beach - so I decided that this weekend would be a Geocaching weekend ... so, as I was out somewhere else on Friday evening, I got up on Saturday morning and packed camping gear and food, and all my other stuff, and drove from Canberra to the "A Country Town Event #1 Jugiong", then while I was there I found a cache nearby (that I had not found when I was here and looked for it 2 years earlier) then after that event, I went and found a few more in Jugiong, then headed over toward Wagga Wagga to camp overnight, for the the "Come to Oura Camping Event!" which was officially on Sunday morning ... hung around after and found a nearby cache, had a swim and lunch, then found the cache in Oura, before I headed out to Kapooka to find a couple caches there (I had not been there, or even to Wagga Wagga (apart from driving through the edge of town on my way to camp at Oura beach - lol), since I did my Army recruit training back in 1987) then I headed back past Oura (decided that was a more interesting way to go home) and found a few caches here and there on my drive home to Canbera ... and my last find on the way home (between Murrumbateman and Canberra) was actually just after Midnight - oops? - lol
It was time I should have been arriving home, not still an hour or 2 away, but I figured it was late already, so I may as well find this one as well (I only stopped for 2 ... Er .. about 6 ... more - lol)
TFTC... Sunday evening... Must be time for church... Thank goodness church wasn't actually on, so I had a Muggle free find.
Came looking because I had found 2 others in town - figured I may as well continue around the block and check out the church/grab this one too.... and - a bonus - there was a nice Sunset view over the black and white sheep in the paddock opposite
Photo: Hey mummy sheep - I think it is time ewe kicked the kids out...
(actually she did kick them off by walking forward, just after I took the photo - lol)

Travelling from the ACT to Victoria and finding caches as I go. This one was a quick find. TFTC
Found nice and quickly whilst on the way to Adelaide! I came via this way, as I was hunting windmills! Thanks again F5.
When Darzee Di came for a visit to entertain me with stories of her recent trip, we decided to hop on over to Wantabadgery for a spot of caching.
After making sure the nearby muggle couldn't see what we were up to, we soon had the cache signed and back in the geomobile ready to find the next one.TFTC

OtterCreek and I had decided to go to this little town and get some smilies. I grew up in Cootamundra and never knew that this little town was here so off we went for the nice little drive. Such a cute little town with lots of history and we pulled up outside and went through the gate and had a little search, I wasn't too sure where it would be, we got about 3m away and then I stuck my head in and there is was, had to go back out the gate to retrieve, sign log and off to the next one. TFTC Farmers 5
We were rushing a little here so perhaps didn't look as well as we could of. We still are happy to have seen this old church.
Travelling over to visit the kids for fathers day. Seemed it was time to try another road into wagga. What lovely countryside, certainly nice to see some green after the brown everywhere else. Thus was an odd looking church, suppose they do come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Nice quick find and off to the river we go. Tftc
A quick find on my way back to Sydney. I some something in common with this church, we share the same year of my birth and it’s opening, thanks.
On our way from Canberra to Bright, and set up camp nearby to Wantabagery and set out to find the five local caches.
Cute Church, nice easy cache. Thanks Farmers 5

TFTC. We are waiting in Wagga Wagga for a new Solar Controller to arrive and get fitted. What does a catcher do when they have time in their hands. Cache of course!
It quite a drive by, we did get the vehicle very close. Linda with her eagle eye spotted the sneaky hide.

With a well-deserved day off from work in hand, I decided to go Geocaching. I also decided on the caching trail between Coota and Wagga. This ended up with a 350km round trip which includes a little bit of driving around in wagga for lunch and shopping. Originally between Coota and Nangus (the first little town you come to along this trail), there was only three caches that I hadn’t found until yesterday when two new caches popped up in Coota, which added to the excitement and I also had a bonus FTF on the first cache I found today (GA11467). Unless stated otherwise, all caches were found quickly and were in good condition. On some of the smaller log books/paper I signed as 17/4 JM. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for the fun I had today.
Another nice church. I am sure enjoying these church caches. Thanks again Farmers 5

I had the strangest urge last night to go for a long caching road trip this weekend. As soon as I woke up this morning I packed the necessities and prepared a coffee before heading to Wagga Wagga.
I've only cached there once before, but with others who had already poached most of the area. This time I got to choose!
However the long drive lead me by others which I had to sparingly choose only a few as it delayed my arrival to my destination.
A long day that I capped my find total at 100 finds. Tommorow I hope to get just as many on the way home.
Thanks for the caches.

We almost missed this one. The hide itself wasn't hard, but it was well hidden by the natural camo.

We found this one on our way home from the Mega Event in Victoria. We were surprised upon finding it that it hadn't been found in a few months. It wasn't an instant find for us, however. We did check a few places before Toriaz turned it up where our GPS said it should be. Interestingly, this church proclaims itself as a war memorial church. Thanks
Found on the way out to work at Euston. There was a muggle at the house and shed further up the hill but I was out of sight behind the trees. Many thanks Farmers 5
Weekend around NSW August 2017. The second day of this trip was a bit dryer, but still suffered from plenty of DNFs. This small town was a nice place to stop for two well placed caches with great co-ordinates.
Thanks.

Suscoe was out and about this morning heading to the east of Wagga.
It was a clear morning with blue skies approaching and a delightful day emerging from the night.
The countryside changed from the city to the country and we enjoyed all the views as we headed around the roads.
Thanks to The Farmers 5 for this hide, nice to see this church.

Wending our way to Wagga. I think we were lucky here - the cache could have been in a number of places but I found it quite quickly. Another nice little rural church. Thanks Farmers 5.

#6084 - 11:35; Out on a day run with Sol de lune and toy hunters heading south to Gundagai, then west through Junee, on to Grong Grong and home via Ardlethan with a few stops at a number of small country towns along the way. Stopped for this one on our way back out of the town and another visit to a nice country church. TFTC The Farmers 5
Found on a fantastic day trip out around Junee with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n! After driving back into town from Moonlite's Seige, we quickly drove up towards the cemetery and had a quick look before I managed to uncover it - nicely hidden! Beautiful little church in what is a very nice town. TFTC The Farmers 5!

11984. Found during a meander around the Cootamundra/Junee region today.
With 2/3's of a day up my sleeve I decided to do the first part of a planned trip that was postponed by the bad weather a few weeks ago. Headed off after a few chores at 10.30 and this was the next stop. I went through the gate to GZ and started the search. While I can see this one taking a while, I was happy to spot it nearly straight away - it does blend in well ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks again The Farmers Five !! That's 8 of yours so far today !

Found by Team Ladava on an R. & R. long weekend at The Rock and beyond with our sister & brother-in-law baby&Mrs gopher.
I confess to having some assistance finding this hide in a timely manner.
I suspect when this church was built the congregation would have been much larger than it is today.

Very threatening conditions greeted us today as we (myself, CBRChick & mcktcj) contemplated an anticipated trip out to Junee for two events today. A very wet night & local conditions indicated flooding & we wondered if we would even make it. But optimism won the day & we headed out regardless and the rains eased the further we ventured from Canberra. Quite a few other Canberra geocachers were there, including B737 & family, but we met cachers from all over including Dubbo, Moss Vale and some even from Shepparton ! All in all a good day. Thanks Greg & the Famers 5 team for organising this successful day and great venues.
Another quick find in Wantabagery. CC found this one.

Hearing about the 2 events today at the Chocolate Factory and the Monte Cristo Haunted Homestead, plans were put into place with the ladies from FurfacesLL and geomum to attend and do a day of caching around the area picking up the newer caches. We set off at a reasonable hour from Canberra and worked our way towards the first event, did some more caching then headed over to Monte Cristo then off for some more caching. All in all we all had a great day out

The word went out that there were two events on in the one day one being in a chocolate factory. New Garmin in hand and some trusty folks from the Canberra geocaching community to go along with and like they say in the like Blues Brothers “We are on a mission from God.” To the Blues mobile with Strange Trousers at the wheel and mcktcj guiding the way. The rain eased, none of the roads flooded and a fabulous day of caching followed. Great to see some familiar faces and meet new people who had travelled from as far as Shepparton. Thank you to Greg & the Famers 5 team for organising the events.
A nice quick find in the dark, re-lit our spirits after the DNF prior to this cache.
Just before we left a car came up the driveway we parked on and they got out and watched us leave. I would too if a strange car was parked on my little stretch of road at 8pm at night in the middle of a tiny town.....
Thanks!
