27 June 2024This is find number: 9778Streak Day: 3115Found Today with Snoopy1976, took us a few minutes to find. ThanksThanks to Omega62 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
quick P&G, once on right side of track. container is perishing, and lid does not seal. bag of toys is a bit yuk. second log is still dry in its baggie. TFTC Nice looking beach
TFTC smile19952 Out and about on a Sunny day on my way to Wollongong in a round about way picking up LGAs on the way GS1947 on small logs added stone paper as old log was full Thank you Omega62 for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Checked the wrong side of the track at first, but once I swapped over, it was a quick find. TFTC
Nice and easy find it was on the other side of the road like everyone else said but good to do with the kids. TFTC
I needed a cache this distance (925km) from home for a challenge cache in Victoria- so this was on my wish list before leaving Melbourne. bunadoorian and I both had trouble with our phone's GPS settling but in the end it was bunadoorian who made the find while I was still looking on the wrong side of the track. TFTC and for bringing us here Omega62.I have now found all the required 100 caches to fulfill the challenge - Thank you
Grub62 and I were looking on the wrong side of the path. Fortunately I found it after working out my mistake. TFTC.
Thanks for the cache! Grabbed a late lunch at the bakery, sat by the beach and thought I'd check the app. For having grown up here, I don't ever remember going up this way before and if I have, hasn't been for a long time! So thanks for the new scenery.
Heading up the Coast and we overnighted near this one. Once checked in we headed to GZ where I was looking where the GPSr indicated but the son-in-law found it on the other side. Log signed I was then a little sad to see a drive on the beach would have cost me $60 but the cache was worth the trip - TFTC
Spent an hour or so at the local Sunday market. Not normally my cup of tea. But I managed to get so many good little stocking Fillers for my wife. Decided to come and do the cache, beautiful location. Hardly anybody on the beach.GPS had us a little bit off to start with, So, switched to satellite view and quickly zoned in on the cache. Thanks for maintaining the cache.
Found it with franode. After this found, a huge snake crossed our way. Thanks for the cache!
Searched around but couldn't find anything. We were told there was brown snake in the bush last week. Didn't want to venture to far in.
Found by Nana and Grandchildren Enzo and Juno in company of Hunters & Collectors.
Staying nearby courtesy of geoboyfriend’s Uni mates and enjoyed a lovely walk to get here. No whales seen. Loads of beautiful nature nearby that we thoroughly enjoyed walking through to get here. What a day - thanks for the smiley to add to the awesomeness of today. Hard to believe it’s winter, such a cracking day.
I was at the wrong side of the track, thanks for the last comment and I can’t write anything on the log book I need to be replaced

5mins hunting around, but eventually found as described. TFTC. 1st find post COVID lock down!
Gotcha - Found easy enough. Log is very wet. Can't write on your paper. Added a scrap of paper with our log.
My GPS was pushing me south of the track but north is where I should’ve been.
A new LGA for us!
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

Bit ambitious with the caravan, but came off the highway for a look and were rewarded with another splendid beach thankyou
227. Followed a geo trail looking on the right side which was the wrong side. Cache needed maintenance so I washed the rust out as best I could and dried all swappables and cache itself, put soaking old log in it’s own separate bag, and bagged the swappables and new log together, and added another goodie inside. Thanks for bringing me to a pretty isolated spot!
Tftc
Great location.
Like others have said cache is needing a bit of TLC. I put the log into a ziplock bag to keep it dry. Items are a bit wet and covered in rust.

Found beautiful spot the lid has a little crack in it so was wet inside I added a new piece of of paper to sigh.
Drove into this fairly isolated spot but decided I'd better not drive onto the beach in the rental car. Cache found easily enough though those vines are a bit nasty! Cache in very bad condition and log soaked through. Really needs some TLC. Just managed to make a mark. Thanks.
Definitely water soaked but a good find! I might come back and clean it up as we visit often
Very busy down here today, no trouble locating the cache however it is full of water and the logbook is saturated, needs maintenance.
Thanks for the cache

Our first find!!! I was so happy when we found it!! Thanks so much for this! Was looking for inexpensive family things to do and I stumbled across geocaching, it’s just what I was looking for Popped it back where we found it enjoy!
Find 448 for the tribe
Out visiting the nearby ocean pool which was packed today, unfortunately couldn't crack out as many laps as we wanted to but it brought us close
Spent ages searching what ended up being the wrong side of the road. Found all kinds of things and finally just before leaving searched the other side and came up with the goods. As others have said cache contents are somewhat rusty. Today the logbook was dry though so we made our mark.
Thanks for the cache! Beautiful part of the world that we love to visit when we can. Had a lovely stay at the caravan park up the road once upon a time.

TFTC sadly container was left open and all wet inside. @joshhanley @rach_jean @andyboii
Great fun finding however disappointingly it has water ingress and all treasures and log book are completely soiled
Went for a drive out to Blackhead was unsuccessful in finding cache GC53W34 Lagoon cache probably washed away. Found this cache and headed to the op shop and bakery cafe for lunch.
Out and about for a lovely days exploring the day, in perfect weather. Stopped off to make a quick find here at GZ, while passing.
Thanks Omega62 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Gps was off a bit. Also log has gotten wet and needs a new sealed bag. Did not have one on hand.
Found today while holidaying nearby at Halliday’s point. The nearby beach has been great fun for our dog. Looking back on previous posts advising to look on the other side proved useful (after looking for a little while on the wrong side)! Lots of fun little swaps in the cache. TFTC.
TFTC successful find and dodged the 4wd. A nice little hiding spot with lots of treasures. Left a barrel of monkeys
Now heading to the beach for a swim
