Went to the location and the lady in the shop said she knew nothing about it. Then decided it wasn’t best to trespass to the cache spot.

Back in Germany, we now log all our fieldnotes. We had a fantastic time Down Under and we will definitly come back. As we can not make a special log for avery one, we use this specimen one. Thx to all the COs that made our visit more interesting. We really enjoyed the caching in Australia. G'day, .... and no worries, we will come back.

Einen lieben Gruß hinterlässt die GYLDe in dieser nun lachenden Schatzkiste DFDC

Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.

A straight forward multi resulting in a quick find. Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

While staying nearby in Gracemere for a couple of days we decided to take a drive to the beach and grab a few caches on the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed this multi and finding GZ nearby. We had already had lunch earlier but would have delayed had we known what we were in for

Many thanks for a very nice multi Rainforest Cookie

Hi there Rainforest Cookie.

We found your cache **"Birds DON'T Eat Chips!"** at 11:55:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 20423).

We started the day off by nominating a cache near Emu Park, and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We finished our cache run at Kinka Kippers, where we had an excellent lunch before heading back to our caravan for an afternoon nap. (You girls all have the same laugh). Smile

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. Today we found 6 caches & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Tonight I headed this way with the geo family for a spot of rock pooling and we nabbed this multi on the way/way back. Took a little more searching at GZ but muggle hubby eyed it. Many thanks for the cache.

We came across your cache, Rainforest Cookie, while on our third and final Cap Coast day.

Our final cache for the day. Like others we apparently interpreted the questions differently to that intended by the CO. But in the end a find was made.

Log signed and cache replaced at 5:16 PM on May 29, 2018. TFTC.

This was fun! It took us 3 attempts to get the coordinates right but got there without too much hassle TFTC!

Ooops! Seems i forgot to log this one. But i know the CO and several others bore whitness that night Wink
This one had inexplicably been my Waterloo for over a year. It seemed to have no end of ways to thwart me.
But now that it has at last yielded, begrudgingly, a smiley I intend to go and peaceably enjoy some chips. Thanks for this devilish cache RFC, maybe someday I'll return the favour. Though in your defence it does seem to be only me to have had so much trouble with this one. Maybe i just cant find a cache without ants near it??

I thought I had this one loved ages ago but mmmm seems no smily face after all.

Love a multi that is not too brain taxing this early in the morning. Spotted it as soon as I was at the final GZ - TFTC

Found at 4:04 PM GAFF4 in the company of Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder.
We had a lot of trouble getting the right information for this multi - and it was just a D of 1.5! First of all "E" was not as apparent as we thought - you really had to do a detailed read of the information and then "A" was a bit obscure and hard to find - we thought it had to be something to do with birds [8)] The last digit "D" really stuffed us up as we never know whether to include the area code or not - so all in all it was a difficulty of 3.0 for us [:o)]
Thanks Rainforest Cookie.
Feedback: A colony of ants like the inside of the container.

04-Jun-17
help when you enable it

03-Jun-17
Problem with "D" fixed, this one is good to go again.

After talking with Geono i found out one of the signs had been removed.
Yep it has. I will have to sort a new question.

On a sight seeing/cache hunting tour around Yeppoon and came to this quick multi. Found WP1, got our info and were off to WP2. This gave us a few problems because we couldn't find one sign. We're still wondering if we just missed it or it really wasn't there. Mentioned it to the CO and were given the help needed. A great finish to this cache, really enjoyed the coffee! I think I must have a wrong number, wound up on a sandy Rd with no path to my alleged gz still 200m through the scrub. If that's where it is its safe from me till next winter, when the crawlies are asleep.

Our vacation in the area was a busy one and we had not planned to do any multis while here due to time constraints but after placing my order at the local chip shop and having the CO recognise me from a recent event she informed me that we would have it completed by the time our afternoon tea was cooked (to perfection) and wrapped ready for us. She was right! We raced like crazy and made it back in time for the freshly wrapped parcel to be handed over. She discovered our trackables and we had a quick chat before availing ourselves of the picnic table (after being reminded the local beach didnt have one). This was a bit of fun to kill the time, thanks!

a quick trip down to Rocky and a planned visit with Temingi
was spending the afternoon going through some solutions to his number puzzles
but had time to detour off to grab a few others ...
I could have used this the other week - for the souvenir
but I didn't think a 800km Sunday afternoon drive was appropriate Big Grin
but stopped for a look today ...
gathered the info ... on to the next stop ... got some numbers ... that don't look right
back to the first WP to check [:o)]
now I see what I have done wrong ...
that's better [^]
off to GZ for a quick find
thanks for the multi RC

At the recent event I was told of where the finders had started looking and it seems my final may have been out by a little.

I have adjusted a few of the questions so it should get you closer to the right place. just let me know.

**Please note** the cache is in plain sight( not hidden away in the garden)

**NOT in the garden**

don't encourage the birds thanks
