Logs
Yesterday, ThatDarnBear and I celebrated out 6th wedding anniversary. Through the kindness of two of our older GeoKids, we were able to go out caching without any children. By pure chance and luck, and a pre-arranged Outing for UnicornLex that I had completely forgotten about, we were able to go out Mad Caching two days in a row!!TFTC
GeoHubby (Slotheryn) and I find ourselves with no children today, so off we go for more Geocaching. Our target today was View Hill and Coopers Creek. A quick find. Thanks for another smiley.
Another straightforward find thanks.
Visiting from Nelson for a few days of caching with Karmzjay. Today was a cruise around the wider Oxford-Ashley area.

Another of the Eyre County streams/creeks visited and signed off here. TFTC # 17,540
After being by Lake Pearson, I thought I better get home... I was out caching when the sun was coming up, and I'm caching as the sun sets too. All fine here.
TFTC cameronz, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 18 find(s) of 26 today, making this find #2810

Geocaching in the area and decided to finally tick off some of this corner of caches. Nice hide. TFTC
Heading to Glentui for the weekend for a search and rescue training course, but have the day off first so time to grab a few caches on a wet day...
Took longer to get the log out than it did to find the cache...bit of a Cito while I was here tftc

This was a nice easy find. Thanks cameronz for placing this geocache it is find 8135 for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Another quick find here as we wander along the roads familiarizing ourselves with the area. tftc
Nice quick find on a glorious day. These eclipse tins look so much better painted. Good job! Thanks for the cache.

Had some work meetings out this way and took the opportunity to find some drive by caches. Most were quick easy finds. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches.
Out cyclocaching around the Oxford area. After finding the cache "Come on Inn" at the bus stop I had a lovely whizz downhill to this GZ. Nice to give the old legs a rest for a while.

Jess.daphne and I decided to go on another caching mission in order to get 50 caches to get the final Hidden Creature souvenir. I also wanted to take my new car on her maiden caching mission. We all had a fantastic day in the sunshine and howling wind, getting dusty and windswept; team Jeje riding in Gigi. Sorry for the generic logs but TFTC.
Found today with injeanious, we got around 50 caches today in order to find all of the hidden creatures. We signed the logs as JeJe to save time and space. Tftc!
We are heading over to attend the CITO tomorrow at Woodend and it had been quite awhile since we were up this way so we headed out to hopefully clean things up again. Apart from a jaunt on the Tinker trail in Jan 2015 we hadnt been this way since July 2013. A nice quick BtG style here. Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies
Quick find in an obvious spot. Amazing to think how many little old bridges there are like this around the country, yet for each council they would still make up a considerable asset value. GLB1721 TFTC (4310)
Thanks for this cache, cameronz- my 2nd for this series.
It has been a lovely sunny Easter Saturday until now - suddenly cloud has come over the hills & now it looks like rain. I’ve been drifting around, collecting a few points for the Planetary Pursuit; I think this find puts me closer to Neptune than Uranus

TFTC. A lovely autumn day so out for a cache and a picnic in the sun.

Thanks cameronz for placing the cache.

I needed a good day's caching fix, so I decided to head out to Mt Oxford! Of course I had to stop for a few on the way home, even though I was rather knackered by then TFTC!!
Stopped by on the way home from tramping to Ryde Falls from Coopers Creek. Had to hurry with the signing to keep out of view of the farmer in the paddock opposite the bridge. TFTC.

A beautiful day, and a baby that needed to be sleeping, so I decided to head off for a drive to try get her off to sleep, and find some caches too. Multi tasking!! - Leaving the house is easier to get her to sleep - either by walking with her or driving, so perfect excuse to give hubby for all my caching now! Haha!
Managed to get 17 in the end - not too bad! Most were pretty easy too! Plus baby had 2 sleeps! A 45 min one, and then slept the whole way home from the last cache, and is still sleeping as I'm doing the logging! Whooo!
Luckily noone about for a quick find!
TFTC!!

Out on a mad mission with TG. TG came and grabbed me at 7.30pm and we headed out towards the sunset. Grabbed a few caches, drove a few kms, talked heaps, had a few laughs, downed the road juice (coke). Did I mention grabbing a few caches. My biggest day in ages. I scored 15 for the night. Did a big loop up Westmoreland, up Old West Coast Road, across the Waimak, up around View Hill, through Oxford and down the Tram Road home. Good fun.
Thanks for the cache cameronz.

Out and about with TheWanglers on a Mad Monday Mission. It's been a while since we've had a truly mad mission so we made up for it this evening....Out old West coast road, over the gorge and into view hill/Oxford then back home down tram road. A nice evening for a drive and a bit of a chat!
Nice wee cache on a quiet bridge, cheers. A nice wee series.

#13498. I think this was the smallest bridge to house a cache in the series. TFTC.
Today I had two missions: to increase my finds count for the 17th Dec from a sub par 7 to at least double figures and to inch my way to 3,000 finds for 2016. We had been nibbling away at the Lolly Scramble series for a few years now, so decided today was the day to finally scoff the lot, then carry on to find some caches around Oxford. Many thanks to the COs for contributing to an enjoyable day with some fabulous and inventive hides.
One thing I like about bridge caches is that GZ is easy to spot from afar so no worries with overshooting the cache. A quick find. TFTC.

Off to the foothills today, for a bit of exercise.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

We have two hides like this one so knew what to look for.Went one end but nothing there and had to trot across the Bridge to the other end.Our GPS read 22meters out and we could see it poking out of it's hidey hole.Quickly signed it and put back before a vehicle whizzed past us..TFTH
