Thorough search of the area and a look at the gallery photo.
If this cache is the same size as Ekka Bushfire then its gone missing.

Given hint that a previous photo shows, I would suggest that the location for where this was off the ground has now been removed.. likely leaving this somewhere on the ground where it is difficult to locate. Did not find.. sorry..
Spent another 30 minutes searching, but no sign of a likely container. Perhaps it has gone missing?
We never went to an "Ekka" as kids. It was always the "Exhibition". Stumbled around for quite a while here in the January heat before deciding to give it a miss today. Shall have to come back another day, as even though it has not been logged since July, it is surely still here. I am reminded of the difficulty lots of searchers have had with my "Wesley at Oxley" cache finding a suspended container right next to their nose as it were.
TFTC anyway, genyo.

Not quite the Ekka holiday, but it is almost here.
Another one that I wandered around aimlessly. It is quite amazing how you can be literally inches away from something blindingly obvious and not see it because you are focussed elsewhere. I must have missed this one at least twice in my circling.
I resorted to previous logs for inspiration. Enough circles done I just stood still and looked. I turned around and there it was, right next to me. [B)]

Up early on this glorious Saturday and not wanting to waste any time I thought I'd head over here for a bit of bushwalking . Having read a few previous logs I was up for the hunt . I decided to think like a CO and in particular this CO, what I've found before and also bought myself from his shop (shameless plug) . This narrowed down my options and bang there it was! I was so excited I let out a little Jan, the accountant moment surprising a lady walking her dog lol. She carried on, I regathered myself, signed the log and replaced as found. Tftc Genyo
This cache took so long, light was fading and I was worried if I didn't find it soon I'd be walking back to the car in the dark I started looking at logs for hints, and a PAF who might text back straight away when I spotted something out of the corner of my eye! My first thought was how on earth could I have missed that the 20times I've walked around the area!! A very happy find, and beautiful twilight walk back to the car
Found it my first night find.
This one is only 600 metres from home we have a Turkish student staying with us I was explaining what geocaching is all about when we decided to go out tonight to find this one.
I have lived here across the road from the Whites Hill Reserve for about 18 months and have heard the Koalas making a noise during the summer nights but had not seen any until tonight.
While signing the log a Koala let out a deep guttural growl while standing in the dark forest it makes the hair on the back of the neck stand up for a moment until you realise that it was only a Koala.
We decided to walk home slowly and quietly to see what wild life we might see luck was with us a Koala was spotted.
In the beam of my LED touch the Koalas eyes glowed like the headlights of a truck above, after tonight I can see where the myth of the Drop Bear originated.

A short walk with the geodog today - far too hot to go for a long walk. At the GZ I had to check and recheck the previous logs. I checked some likely spots down low and then checked a little higher. My eyesight missed this one a few times - it is in plain sight! TFTC genyo
Out and about in the area for another big day or geocaching.
I parked at the entrance and made a dash to these two caches as the storm was rolling in.
Just made it back to the car without getting too wet.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Out for an early morning walk in this beautiful part of the world with toriakyogle and the geoterrier. Quite a tricky hide. I read out a few logs to get some clues but still nothing. Just as I thought it was going to be a DNF, toriakyogle joined all of the dots and made the discovery.
Thanks, genyo. Log signed and replaced.

Buoyed by our first find of the morning, we found our way to GZ. NannRuby read some previous logs & a little exploration saw this clever cache revel itself. Logged & replaced TFTC
Friday lunchtime: I was aiming for Mt Gravatt but somehow ended up here. I came in from the SW and hadn't walked this track in a long time, but it was a nice shady stroll.
The cache took me a while because I wasn't thinking in the right dimension but soon enough, I had it in hand. All good inside so TFTC.

Gotta love these sunny Friday romps
The landscape here looks completely different after the local brushfire. A quick find as the cache was hidden IPS and met us on arrival. Nice to see another hide on my local patch

Across on the dark side I found myself dragged into the bushes to go looking for caches. Been a while since I last checked out this area.
Well Here I was standing just off the path kind of looking unsuspicious in my nice dress and gumboots and back pack waiting for Muggles to walk by looking at my phone then looked up and what do you know I find the itty bitty cache in the bush. signed log. TFTC genyo.
Looked around at GZ for a bit longer than we normally do and could not find this one. We decided to expand the search area and after a while Mrs LHE Duo spotted a nicely cammo'ed hide. TFTC.
Spotted a couple of new caches on the map in Whites Hill Reserve, and decided that since I was in the area I would go and have a look. I parked in a spot like others was familiar for a couple of good old Gecko Master caches, which are no longer active.
I decided to head to the left first, and soon found myself nearby to this cache. A little look around and I was not quite sure what I was looking for, but thankfully without too much trouble standing where the GPSr eventually told me too I spotted it and soon had the log signed.

Well I took the Geowife back to help search for this one since I was unable to locate it last time. Once we got to GZ Geowife took all of ten seconds to utter the words, "found it!". Standing beside her looking in the direction she was facing it took me another 30 seconds before my eyes picked it up. Once you find it you wonder how you could have missed it lol
Nice to finally turn this one into a smiley

Wandered about looking at all the places the cache be, lots of them here. Had a think before I attacked and it was quickly found in plain sight. TFTC
It's a nope for me? Looked up. Looked down. Looked all around but unable to find the cache hiding spot this time
Pity, as I needed an "e" for the September challenge. I guess I have to go further afield looking for one? Any hints gratefully accepted

We followed the path until the GPSr indicated GZ was a few metres 'over there'. So over we went and looked and looked and then we saw it. Goodness that was hard to spot. Good one.
Another cache for our 'September' challenge.
Thanks for the cache snd adding to our fun today genyo.

Definitely the hardest cache we've had to find so far. Only found it after we bought another two people the following day to help out!
After my bush bash to get Ekka Bush Fire it was a lot easier to walk along the newly graded track to get to this one.
I headed to the search area and, after finding the previous cache 12m from the posted coordinates, I wondered how long it would take to find a micro in this area if I had to widen my search.
A quick look around and I spotted the cache about 1m from my head. That was a relief. The log was a bit damp and the previous red ink log has run.

I was at the Logan monthly meeting when these caches were published. I expected them to be found before the meeting ended but put them on my watchlist anyway.
When the meeting ended and they still weren't gone, I wasn't sure whether I would bother trying to get them tonight. But, after jumping on the motorway to head home, I called the geowife and chatted to her about it and, in the end decided to give it a shot. It wasn't far out of the way after all.
I parked about 100m from GZ but decided to follow the path rather than head directly for the cache. It looked like there was a gully between us and I didn't know what would be in it.
I began following a path but it soon disappeared, ironically in the gully. It was then that I turned around and my torch picked out a large tawny owl sitting on a branch only a metre from me regarding me solemnly. It gave me quite a fright but sat there patiently while I took some photos of it.
With no path to follow, I decide to head directly for the cache after all but I came up against a six foot high chain link fence. I followed it for a bit but it didn't look like it was going to end so I decided to clamber over it.
Shortly after that, I found myself on a wide path which led to within 20m of the cache. From there, I found it pretty quickly thanks to spot on coordinates.
This *FTF* makes it six consecutive months of FTFs. After signing the log, I thought about continuing on to find the other cache but I was tired and hungry and decided to leave it for someone else.
