Back in the saddle after not caching for almost a year and begun with a DNF!
Not spotted today.
Not spotted today.
No joy today. It was pretty busy in the park so we didn't give it much time. Next time maybe.
I couldn't find anything. The nearby bocci players were wondering what I was up to!
No luck for us today. Perhaps Serena has stopped by and replenished her supply before heading to Melbourne for the Australian Open?! Cheers... Gaztek
No luck here for me today - I did find something that could have once been the camo but it was on the floor and contained no log
I'll be back once CO has checked it
It's a great walk

A few muggles slowed me at first although there seemed to be some pokemoners in the park who made me more inconspicuous. Two places to choose from but I guessed on a certain hide because of the conditions and after getting wet fingers first of all I then found what you might expect to find under Serena Williams' skirt - cache found!

with a bit of help I could have almost spotted this one from the baseline. Loved the camo! Great day along the waterfront here. TFTC
Found a pair before I found the one. Have seen this done with many different types...
This one was hilarious. Went to one spot, thought we had found it but nope, not there. Moved over to another position and found it there. We had a good chuckle and then saw the container in the container and wondered what it was as we hadn't seen it before but we happened to have come across one of them today.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Quick find, while watching the locals playing bocci. Again, coords are good, reached out and had CIH. Nice camo and I did have a ball
This afternoon geodoggie and I walked along the Rosebank College mini power trail, and we had a great time meeting interesting pooches and humans. It was sunny and the views over the water were sublime. It is great to see students learning about caching! We found 8/8, our biggest day caching for a while.
Now this was interesting - found not one two items from Serena's kit bag here but no log. I was tempted to sign them but no one else had. And it seems some others have logged these without finding the cache. So I shifted a bit closer to the water where something similar ticked all the boxes. Nice decoy!

I had business nearby this morning so thought I'd return again for another cache in the area - and more Pokémon. The Magikarp were biting again today.
At GZ I spotted it quickly but needed to wait for a suspicious neighbour over the road to look the other way before making the grab. Then took it well away to complete signing duties.
He was elsewhere on my return so quickly replaced and then on my way.

Well we found the items refered to in the title but missed out on the actual cache. Couldn't work this one out I'm afraid.
On my walk around the bay with geopuppy I collected the caches as I went.
The co-ords were a bit out for this one but there wasn't really anywhere else you could hide something at this spot. When I stood in the right place I could see the cache, retrieving it was another matter because when you're walking you don't carry a bag of tools to help. Found something natural and soon had CIH & SL.

Of all the caches placed by GPSionage geopuppy and I liked this one the best so we're giving it a favourite point.

The GPS had us about ten metres away but the camo and the spot was faulty obvious!?!

{FTF} joint with Kid Ron Satan & morry9. I noticed a new cache had recently been published over in Abbotsford, 'Nooks and Crannies' so I jumped in the car and drove over to try my luck. I messaged Kid Ron Satan before leaving and he said he was also heading over, so we arranged to meet up and find it together. I parked the car close to the published co-ordinates and walked over to spot a muggle relieving himself on a tree right near Ground Zero. Hmm. Kid Ron Satan arrived shortly thereafter, and we decided to let Ground Zero dry out a little, so we opted to go for a walk down to the water to attempt 'A Clucking Good Cache' first. When we arrived a Ground Zero, there was a lady appearing to be getting dressed right next to the tree. Huh! What is it with the locals today, Abbotsford!? Anyway, she moved on once we turned up and we had Ground Zero to ourselves for the time being. We hunted around for a minute or so, until Kid Ron Satan spotted the hide. What a clever construction, very nice!! We opened up the cache to reveal a blank log and confirm we were successful being the joint First To Find! What a hoot! We signed the log and, as we were returning the cache to its original hiding location, Geomatica turned up. Nice to meet you! Sadly he was too late to join us for the first to find on this one but we waited for him to sign the log anyway, and we agreed to join forces on the next one, which would be 'Nooks and Crannies'.
We returned to the published co-ordinates of 'Nooks and Crannies' and, by this time, the muggle who had vacated his bladder, had now vacated the site. Morry9 rocked up and joined us in the search. Within a couple of minutes we soon had the Cache In Hand and another joint First To Find was ours! At this stage, Geomatica had to leave us to return to work and told us he had already found 'We will rise, We will fall', so we lowered the priority on it for now, but still found it before we left the area. More caches in the area continued to pop up and we gorged ourselves on a caching frenzy, getting joint First To Finds on the 'Trip Along the River' Multi Cache, 'Ball is Life', 'Soak in the View', 'Leaf Me Alone!' and the 'Nola Newton' Multi Cache!!
Thanks For The Caches GPSpionage and all the best with the rest of the schooling year! I hope you enjoyed your introduction to geocaching, as much as we had fun finding your new caches

Our GPS may have been out 11m due to many nearby trees but looked in common geo spots and found.
16/8/16. 1:46 PM. Cache #4099.
4th of 8 finds (7 FTFs) - Abbotsford, Wareemba & Five Dock.
**FTF #172 - joint (with JordsAU, morry9)**
Having just grabbed the FTF at "Trip Along the River", there was only one more cache in the area that JordsAU, morry9 and I hadn't found, and it was "We will rise, We will fall", which we knew had already been found by geomatica. JordsAU had only just started driving us towards it when more new emails started popping up, including this one. Change of plans, boys! So we came here and left WWRWWF for later.
Arriving here quickly, the only people around was a bunch of oldies playing boules about 50m away. We searched several places before I thought of checking the hint and then we went around again. I eventually felt the cache before sighting it, coords are a bit out (head further south). Blank log again and a new speed record for me - 4 minutes after the email! Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
After we'd signed and I'd replaced, I'd also received an email for "Leaf Me Alone!". Going onto the GC website, I also noticed another cache in the area for which I hadn't even received the email: "Soak in the View". We headed there next. TFTC.

After finding a 2nd FTF we found another FTF 3/3 with JordsAu and kid Ron Stan. Thanks for the cache!
